About Hotel Il Principe

exterior Hotel Il Principe exterior Set within an ancient building in the center of Milazzo and overlooking the sea and Aeolian Islands, the hotel is located in the area of Vaccarella, an ancient district of fishermen.

The town has Medieval origins and has been used by the Arabs and then by the Normans as the gateway to the treasures of Aeolian Islands.

Today Milazzo boasts a tourist port which connects the Aeolian Islands by high-speed ferryboats or ships. Filled with craft shops, the area is the best place to find all the delicacies of this Sicilian land.

During your stay you can also explore a number of other historic and cultural sites; Milazzo is just a few kilometres away from Messina, Taormina and many other tourist attractions.

Excellent hotel! Definitely return to this property being in Milazzo. Only one bad remark: some staff did not speak English, and gave a wrong information about Fortress and Lipari trips.

A most comfortable overnight stay with a very nice continental breakfast included. For a nominal fee, the hotel has a driver available to pick one up or drop one off at the train station/port.

If you like a very pompous style it is the right place to go. The staff is very friendly and helpful. They have their own free of charge driver whobrings you to the nearby ferries.

we have booked a suite, which was a great decision, spacious room, huge tv with 1000's of channels. if you want it quiet, ask for the suite to the bank, to the front you see the sea, but there is a bigger street in front. excelent place for a night before the eolian islands.

From the A20 Messina – Palermo motorway, exit at Milazzo - Isole Eolie. Follow the indications for the Centre until arriving at Lungomare Garibaldi (Marina Garibaldi).


By train
From the railway Station of Milazzo, a transfer service to the hotel is available upon request.

The airport of reference is represented by the International airport of Catania - Fontanarossa. Upon request, a fee-based transfer service is available to the hotel.
