Idea Hotel Milano Watttredici - Milan
Via Giacomo Watt 13 - Milan
877-662-6988This luxury Milan hotel near the Navigli is a showcase for the best of modern Italian interior design, offering tourists and business travellers alike real taste of contemporary Italian minimalist style that perfectly captures the innovative and forward looking spirit of Milan, Italy's financial and business capital. Soft natural wooden wall panels and flooring are mixed with large brightly-lit white interiors hung with minimalist works of art, a bitter sweet contrast that further heightens the hotel's sense of modernity. Furthermore, much of the furniture has been created by famous designers such as Moroso, Serralunga, Ron Arad and Artemide.
However, this Milan hotel is not only to be seen, but also to be experienced with all 5 senses. The hotel serves a gourmet breakfast with home-made cakes, biscuits and mousses each morning and there is a plentiful aperitif in true Milanese style in the hotel bar every evening.

When staff discuss catching the local bus, they could also mention how to buy a ticket. When staff discuss how to get to the airport from the hotel, they could mention the Malpensa Express train as well as the Malpensa Shuttle bus. Shortage of "English Breakfast" teabags!!! It would be nice to be able to get a cup of tea or coffee in our room, or have self service in the common areas.

Third time stay in this trendy hotel. Located slightly out of the city centre, however very good public transportation possibilities nearby. Good valua for money. Nice Italian style breakfast. I would definitely recommend the hotel to anyone visiting Milano.

Hotel Milano is a lovely hotel 30 minutes -tram + metro - away from the main city centre. I would definitely recommend it as it has all the facilities available at a very affordable price compare to the other hotels in the centre of Milano.

Very expensive, especially so far from city center Reception women were very helpful. They gave us late check out which was great. Had real problems getting a taxi that was big enough for 5 adults and luggage. The man was not very competent, but the ladies were. After 3 attempts to get a big taxi, we took 2 and one was so late getting to the train station, that we ended up miss our airplane. Had we gotten the driver originally requested, that would not have happened. I know the reception ladies requested a van and told them it was for 5, but we still got tiny taxis and it ended up being very costly in both time and airfare. Breakfast was good. Lights needed to be explained, couldn't figure it out initially. The location is far from just about everything, but given we couldn't get anything closer to city center, the hotel was very nice.

The Hotel was very nice, our room was perfect, well-equipped. The breakfast was also fine. Staff: very good, handsome. Value for money excellent. Unfortunately we only stayed one night and we moved to another hotel - well known Hotel, on the other side of Milan where our conference was held. This experience showed that maybe WTH is not at the most beautiful place of Milan but as it is very near to the channel where most of the restos, trattorias are. I would rather recommend this hotel than any other which is near the luxury shops or the city centre, while it could happen that there are no bars or coffees etc. near, or if there is such you would spend Kenya's GDP for a meal. From WTH the channel is 10 min walk, Bus 74 is near, but also Tram 2 is like 9 min, which takes to the centre. I would strongly recommend the Hotel and the surroundings for those who want to find a small piece of Italy, eat good, drink good coffees or wine and who are not billionaires!

We spent four days in Milan. The hotel is in a very convenient location to reach the center by tram number 2 and has a value for money among the best I've seen. I would recommend it to anyone who goes to Milan for business or on holiday.

Modern and confortable hotel in the outskirts of Milan. The hotel is quite distant to the center of the city (15/20 mn walk from the Navigli, which is already a periphical although enjoyable neighborhood)and the nearby tramway that goes directly to the Duomo is not extraordinarily regular. Also, the map and indications provided on the website are not sufficient to find your way easily to the hotel (and there is no sign on the hotel, making the building anonymous). The welcoming was ok, but a smile would have made it even better. The rooms are confortable but quite small, and the white walls are not completely neat. The bathroom is small and not practical at all. The breakfast buffet is generous but service is much too slow (or the personnel is not numerous enough) so you actually wait a long time for your coffee or for the orange juice jar or the butter stack to get refilled. And, as usual in italy, you have to pay - a lot - to get internet, which seems a bit mean for a four-star hotel.

The hotel is situated in a quiet street near the navigli and the bus (actually is a "Tram") n. 2 very usefull to go to the cty center in 10/15min. The breakfast is excellent. The only problem is a constant noise during the night probably caused by the air conditioning unit.

Brand new hotel with very modern comfortable rooms. Short bus or tram ride to metro station (5 min journey time) then less than 10min to centre via metro.

This was our first visit to city of Milan,, the hotel was excellent on all levels,, breakfast, room, stuff were all great,, the only problem with this hotel, it wasnt close enough to a metro point however, the bus stop was very close by. so i would mostly stay in the same hotel if i ever visited Milan again

We stayed for two nights - hotel was new and really lived up to its image. Although not in centre of Milan transport links excellent - but get a good street map to locate hotel at first. Great hotel for a treat.

I enjoyed my stay and liked the hotel. The staff, particularly at breakfast, were very pleasant and helpful. A couple of comments though: Firstly, the hotel doesn't serve dinner, which was a dissappointing for a 4 star hotel. I arrived on a Monday night, and after walking around looking for a restaurant, I discovered most places were shut on a Monday, and I ended up having to a get a takeaway pizza - would have been much nicer to have been able to eat at the hotel! The rooms are pleasant - very stylish and modern. The sound proofing could have been a little better, but most hotels seem to have this problem.

The geographic postition is not correct!... the hotel is about 1.5 kilometers from the navigli channel. the hotel is very beautiful. the breakfast-lobby is too small... we had to wait for about 25 minutes to get a table on sunday, and we were only served after insisting on the personal. on saturday there was the same problem, but we had only to wait for 10 minutes to get a table. but i think that they really need to change something about the breakfasts on the weekends.
