Very helpful reception, rooms were comfortable, beds perfect, toilets showers with enough room and very clean, very quiet at night, triple rooms perfect for family (6 of us), breakfast lots of choices - substantial! 5 minute walk to Central railway station, nearest metro and bus to airport. This is a great hotel.

We were pleasantly shocked at the high quality of this hotel for the money they charged - we received a super, beautiful room with a lovely king bed, super comfortable nights sleeps, large shower with large bathroom as well - very, very happy with this hotel. Very modern and clean - a real treat for our trip through a number of European cities. Hotel is easy walking distance to subway which makes going to see the Last Supper and shopping district easy to get to - very close to the train station.

Soperga gave us one of their refurbished rooms and very fine it was too with a bathroom that was a delight to look at as well as use, the shower perhaps the roomiest we’ve come across in Italy. Changes are also evident in some of the hallways and elevators, giving a brighter, airier feel to the hotel. As renovations continue I suspect prices will reflect these improvements. It continues to be a well-run hotel with efficient front-desk staff and a pleasant breakfast crew. Unfortunately the breakfast itself has taken a distinct turn for the worse. Gone are the hot-food options and the coffee is disgusting. Even my wife, who will happily settle for instant, couldn’t finish her cup. Recalling the wonderful breakfast we enjoyed at Soperga 18 months ago we had been looking forward to a leisurely meal before catching an afternoon plane but were out of there in 20 minutes and off to the airport for a decent cappuccino.

I chose Hotel Soperga for it's proximity to the train station, and for the price. It was a great catch! The room was big, the bathroom mordern. It's located in a one way street, what makes it very quiet. The walking distance from the Central Train station is 300 mts, and halfway there is a roullote where you can buy delicious ice cream with fruit, like you only eat in italy! I will defenitely come back to Soperga Hotel when travelling to Milan, anytime. Actually, the friend who was with me on this trip, returned to Milan, and also stayed at Soperga. Is great value for money. Strongly recommend it. 10/10

Its a good cop bad cop hotel. Depending who is at the reception, your day can be a nightmare. Some were so idiotic and I'll mannered just like the one who checked me out. He asked me if I had taken any drinks from the fridge in the room. I told him no. He questioned me after my no answer, " not even a coke?... And I went what the hell. Very rude person. When I ask fo a laundry bag , he would say that I am checking out tomorrow, thus my laundry cannot be ready by then and refuse to give me a laundry bag. When I left the hotel after 3 days stay, I ask for a taxi to Linate airport, the got me a limousine which cost 35 Euros to the airport which is just 7 km away. I believe that they have some commission coming. Real bad hotel people. Try to avoid this hotel if you can.

The hotel Soperga should be renamed Superba. For a three star hotel, it is excellent. Refurbished in September, the single room I had was spotlessly clean and fresh, as was the reception area, all public areas and breakfast room. The breakfast was also very good. Gianluca was particularly welcoming and helpful. Will definitely stay there again. Well done.

The chief advantage of this hotel is its location: it is less than a ten minute walk to the central station, yet it is in a quiet street. However, the reception was not particularly friendly. For example, when we asked for a second map of Milan (never a problem for a second map elsewhere), we were informed that only one per room was usually issued, but as a special favour, we could have two! The website did not clarify that you have to pay for WIFI. We had double room, which we were told had been recently refurbished, and it was comfortable, with a good firm and large bed and a decent modern shower/bathroom, although the usual 'freebies' for a 3 star hotel were mean. Coffee at breakfast was good, but the rest of breakfast was mediocre. The friendliest person in the hotel was the room cleaner! If you do stay, make sure you get a modernised room.

I asked several minor questions regarding a restaurant I wanted to locate and go to. Edwardo was at the desk and was not at all busy There was no one else there. He was rude and not at all helpful. Because of him, I would never go to this hotel again. He told me at one point that he did not just work at the hotel for me. He also did not allow me to copy the directions to the restaurant that he showed me on a map on his desk computer. I could look but not copy. He told me I should go up to the room and buy their internet access for a daily charge of 10 euros. He did the rolling of the eyes ---impatient thing several times. He needs lessons in customer assistance or a transfer to another job. I still get upset thinking about un-helpful he was. He told me I would need taxi service to the restaurant for 30 euros when I could have taken public transportation and walked a block or two----this is after I requested directions using public transportation. Sorry Hotel Soperga, you get a very low score because of Edwardo. Everyone else at the hotel was super nice and no complaints with anyone else.

The hotel is about 10 minutes walk from Milan Central Train Station, fairly quiet without shops around. Size of room is acceptable by European standard and the washoom is very large. However, the room is worn out and dirty especially the carpet so inside the room we do not feel comfortable. Luckily, the washroom and the bed linen are very clean so this is the consolation. The hotel is in the process of renovation and refurbishing and in fact rooms on the 1st floor have been completely renewed but we were declined to change even we are willing to pay more, as allegedly reserved for a tour group. The breakfast room in the basement also completely renewed and looks modern and comfortable. Breakfast is OK for 10 Euro. Overall, this hotel can be recommended after complete renvoation.

We had two short stays here at the front and back ends of our vacation and Hotel Soperga suited our needs perfectly. Close to the station and easy to find, efficient staff – our wake-up call to get us to the airport came right on time – clean rooms. There are restaurants and a supermarket nearby and the historical centre of Milan is reachable via metro or on foot if you enjoy walking. The area is lived in, which means it isn’t quiet, though not all rooms face onto the main street. Breakfast was good with very decent coffee served by a cheerful staff. Our only gripe was that curse of 90% of Italian hotels – odd plumbing. In our first room the basin plug couldn’t hold water, in our second the basin wouldn’t drain. Not a big deal but using a couple of gallons of hot water to get a shave is an awful waste of resources. We would certainly stay at the Soperga again.

Great location, so close to Stazione Centrale and to the red, green and yellow Metro lines. Breakfast room is really nice (and new); nice to have fresh fruit on the breakfast buffet. Too bad they run out of fresh bread & croissants if you're not down by 9 am. The renovated room was great (but rather small) - the safe is a nice plus, bathroom is large and clean. Too bad there is no public computer with internet. Would definitely recommend staying there - it's the best 3 Star hotel I've stayed at in Milano so far.

Good location, especially if you catch a train from Milano Central Railway Station. The airport shuttle stops right next to the Station and it's 5-7 min walk to the hotel. The area is not very pleasant after dark but areas close to railway stations never are. 10 min walk to Loreto metro station where one can get Linea 1 or 3 to the Duomo or Cadorna train station. Breakfast is OK, nothing extraordinary, after all it's a 3-star hotel, not the Hilton. Good quality for the price.

Soperga is at walking distance to the trains station, we could walk with a big luggage. It is however a little bir far away from metro stattion (1-1.5 kms), which you should use to reach city centre/tourist attractions. We knew that it was far away from city centre, but this did not put us off since we were supposed to go there for sleeping anyway. The breakfast was good, but the room they gave us was on the basement and had a very tiny little window.

Excellent one night stay. Great value and better than many a stay in higher star rated hotel. Ideal for the Centrale Station, handy restaurants nearby, felt quite safe, smiling welcoming staff, spotlessly clean and fab breakfast.

Stayed for three nights at the Hotel Soperga very welcoming hotel with a great choice at breakfast, staff were friendly and helpful at all times. Location within walking distance of the centre of Milan and close to rail station, and as we were going on to Verona it made it an ideal place to stay.

The hotel is located near to the central rail station (7 min. walk). It is good to get from the cental rail station to such destnations as Lago Maggiore, Lago di Como, historical cities like Bergamo and Pavia.

HOTEL MUY CENTRICO, CERCA DE LA ESTACIÓN CENTRAL Y DEL BUS DE AEROPUERTO. TAMBIÉN CERCA DEL METRO QUE DIRIGE AL DUOMO. PÈRSONAL AMABLE Y COMPETENTE. EL AISLAMINETO ACÚSTICO DE LA HABITACIÓN (QUE DABA A LA CALLE) ALGO MEJORABLE. UN NOTABLE PARA ESTE HOTEL, CON UNA BUENA RELACIÓN CALIDAD-PRECIO.

I found the hotel quite nice and comfortable and the breakfast buffet excellent (tasty and varied), the only bad point are the surroundings, since it is very near to the Railstation and, like in fast any big city, that are is always a conflictive and little depressed area. Anyway I would book this hotel again!

Clean romms and gentle staffs. Enough breakfast. I felt it was more than 300m from the central station. I don't recommend the hotel to a group og women or single tourist. felt a bit of danger...

My room was just at the 1/F and faced to the street. It was very noisy in the early morning (around 6am). It seemed some workers already starting to work on the street.

We booked a double & triple room, to accomodate a family of five. It was hard to warm to the main man on front desk. We stayed twice. First time, we had rooms which were spacious and renovated. Second stay, we asked to move because of an awful smell. Room were far more "tired". Location very easy for train travel from Milano Centrale.

Good location just 5 minutes to the city centre by tube. Nice breakfast. The room was ok but a little bit too dark ( poor lighting ). The price is good so i"d like to recommend this hotel:)

This was our second stay at Soperga - we stayed last year also over Xmas, during which time a gold bracelet went missing. Although the hotel staff were not so helpful over this, we gave them the benefit of the doubt and decided to stay again this year. Not such a good idea. On our first morning, we were woken at the crack of dawn by a thunderous noise which turned out to be the shower from next door. The reception said that the occupants were up early for business, as if this was an excuse for the poor sound isolation, and gave us another room. Although this was slightly better, we suffered further noise from the room above, and rude service from the reception and in general the stay was not so pleasant. Rooms are OK though, if you have good ear muffs. Also, be aware that the surrounding area is a thieves paradise - chain your handbag/ wallets to your neck if you want to hang on to them.

We chose the Soperga for its low price, proximity to the train station and airport shuttle, and early start time for breakfast, since we were spending just one night before flying back to the U.S. the next morning. The room was small and fairly shabby, but adequate--and quiet. One pleasant surprise was the relatively bountiful breakfast buffet.

The main reason we chose this hotel was because we needed to be close to the train, its more than a 13 minute walk. Rooms were clean and confortable, and breakfast was very good. Would stay there again, not really close to anything grand.

Hi, we stayed at The soprega a long weekend in Nov. And we loved it. The staff were super helpfull. The breakfast was terrific. Rooms where really nice and clean. Its and old building so the sounds from other rooms can be avoided, but it wasn't a problem at all. Love our stay there. recommend it to all travellers. And very conveinient location, with central and metro so close.
