Hotel Piccolo has the most friendly staff, which will fill your every need. They made my stay really enjoyable and I will definitely go back. Rooms are tidy and spacious, and breakfast fresh and lots to choose from. Piccolo is situated close to lovely shops and restaurants and walking distance from the city center. I warmly welcome this family-owned restaurant, which will leave you with a smile.

Staff were warm, welcoming and helpful. Rooms were clean and bed was comfortable. Facilities were basic, but were exactly what was advertised and everything I needed was there. Location was great - near amazing restaurants and friendly bars. Very close to conference and there were easy transport and walking routes which were explained by staff. Would come again. Great value for money and I felt at home.

Relationship between price and quality is the key. Low price - low quality. Everything was "piccolo" (italian word for small). Small room, small shower (!), small hotel. unusual criticism - room lighting was sickening. why worth mentioning? Imagine a street light (literally) attached to the wall above your head when you lay on the bed. that's it. Had to put a shirt over it, or put on sunglasses. shocking. not a bit of upscale anything, but adequate for the price. can't say anything bad. But can't say anything good, either. LOUSY breakfast. ouch.

Very helpful english speaking staff. Good location, slightly off the beaten track which meant it was a reasonably quite. Hotel was pretty basic but clean. Breakfast was very basic and a little bland but fairly typical for no frills hotel in Italy I think. A good choice if you are on a budget and not looking for someone bang in the middle of things.

Perfect for staying in Milan. The area around the hotel is packed with good restaurants, bars and clubs. But it still keeps a quiet residential feel.

Piccolo Hotel is really a perfect little hotel with no major frills, but it's a great deal. I was particularly impressed by the bathroom. The shower was wonderful and delivered a huge about of pressure from the shower head, which is unheard of in little hotels. The staff was really friendly, even when I came in around 4am! The area is not centralized, and you do need to take the #14 Tram to get to the Duomo, but the immediate surroundings are the best! Within 20 feet, there is a wonderful pizzeria and 20 feet more ahead is a great little supermarket. The first stoplight after the supermarket is a very famous trattoria/bar called Stalingrado, and it is cheap and fun! Plus, right across from the hotel are two bars which are extremely popular with the 20's-40's crowd. I will absolutely stay there again!

Excellent location, on a quiet, principal street, just a block from a main thoroughfare. Easy and pleasant 25 minute walk to the Duomo, or excellent and direct public transportation. The room was very spacious and quiet, the bed, comfortable. Housekeeping was immaculate. The full breakfast, ample and accessible, was much appreciated. I couldn't have hoped for a better concierge than Sgr.Gianni.

Hotel très sympathique A recommander pour son accueuil et son professionnalisme (réception d'une grande amabilité et d'un sens aigu du service). Un grand merci à eux qui ont ajouté un plus non négligeable à notre séjour

Small, very friendly family runned hotel. Location is good , close to congress and exhibition centers. We spent a wonderful week there. Only two remarks: even for that class of hotel - TV screen and the shower cabin were too small. General: good price, comfortable for the young and middle age couples.

It is a really nice hotel: clean and quiet. Every day we would return to a spotless room with new clean towels. Breakfast was good: ham, cheese, croissants, juice and coffee. One thing might spoil a good impression – the hotel is not conveniently located. You’ll need to take a bus, which is going by pretty often, to get to the downtown. But keep in mind that if you just arrived to the city, you do not have a travel pass or one time ticket (you can buy it in any metro ticket booth). Then we had difficulties to locate a bus stop on the way back to the hotel. And also, hotel’s staff does not speak English, at all. Generally, Milan is not the best city in Italy; we loved much better Rome and Florence. Travel tips: As a bonus, there is a good and reasonably priced restaurant and a couple of fine bars just down the road from the hotel. (We were not able to get a drink from the hotel bar after midnight, so what the point of that facility.)

Hotel vecchio.

All together the hotel was ok,the room too..no more, no less!..the staff is kind and helpfull... the center of milan (duomo) is to reach within 20 minutes by tram, around the hotel there are some cafes and restaurants....breakfast is very, very poor.....for my next stay in Milano I'm sure to get a better hotel for the same price or even cheaper!!!!!

Clean, quiet room; friendly hosts; no complaints with room or services; in a quiet, but interesting part of town, yet a short tram ride to the sites. Excellent value.

Small budget hotel with convinient location to congress center. Close to buses and trams going to center. Supermarket 100 m. Very friendly and helpfulstaff.Clean but small room, somehow noisy during the night, but air condition in the room. Renovated nice bathroom , although very small. Poor breakfest- only jams, cereal, however good coffe.

Piccolo Hotel was good and we would stay there again without hesitation. The only slightly adverse comment is that the bathroom in our room was tiny, however it was very clean and well maintained. The best way to get into central Milan (Duomo area etc)from the hotel is by tram which is cheap and easy.

The hotel is nice, close of city center, great area. it was nice. I did't like the fact that I had a 1 person room and I wasn't allowed to get my Italian girlfriend there. I actually payed the difference to a room with double beds but the beds were small and separate, in rest it was nice the Italian employees were to nice to make a scene :)
