Hotel is nice, 15 min walk from a nice restaurant and shopping area, but you have a Metro Station 50m away. With the Metro this close, you can really hear the metro passing under the hotel, as anywhere in Milan, but it did not bother me too much. They gave us a smoking room, after we clear ask a non/somoking, but this was resolved after we complaim. Overall, it is a fear choice, given the options and prices in Milan.

Nice hotel and room, great buffet for breakfast. Beware: breakfast is 9 euro per person!!

We came across this Hotel in Venere and with a very good price in comparisson with other options in same hotel. We booked and payed for a std double room. Once there there the room and bed were so small we hardly made it. I asked if that was a double or a single room as it had only one pillow and set of towels. I was told it was a double and received another pillow and towells. That was it. Only one night was enough.

i suspect that the room sold as double was actually single with queen size bed. it was next to the lift, so very noisy in the morning because of staff and cleaning ladies (loud voices especially). apart from this, clean and comfortable room, hotel near to metro station.

The hotel is very close to the subwab with is a very big plus. Especially because there isnt much to see in the area the hotel is located in. You can here an feel the subway running underneath the hotel so if you are sentitiv to noise dont stay at this hotel. After a long day sightseeing we sleept just fine. The room was not ready when we arrived but after about 30 minutes we got the room. The hotel offers free bike-rent but the bikes are in really bad shape. Milan is a great city and the hotel is a great place to stay when you consider the price also.

Advantage: The location is very convenient near the subways station which allowed us to go everywhere. But I have some suggestions: 1)Asian People not get used to drink cold water. I suggest provide a kettle for them to boil water in each room 2)Can it possbile help the customer to send letters ? Most of customers do not know where are the post-office 3) shuttle bus service from hotel to airport

Comunque ci tornerei subito.

the hotel is rellay near to the subway stop lotto, near to the stadio and to the fiera quartier. The camera and the bath were really good, clean and comfortable even they were quite small. A problem for me and mi girl was the really poor Competence of employees, our room was very cold and they were unable to make it warmer the first night. The price find on venere was really good caus ewe pay only 50 euros for the room

The hotel is quite nice and the metro station is just next to the hotel. This is quite benefitial, because the metro system is well-organized and it is easy to go to any place of Milan by metro (it takes you may be about 5-10 minutes to the centre of the city). Because of the close distance to the metro station you might hear some metro tram noises, but we never got annoyed or disturbed by it and had also no issues to fall asleep. The only problem happened after we arrived at the central station. We tried to go by metro to the hotel but unfortunately an accident happend (suicide), so we had to wait for the metro tram (with dozens of others) but nothing happpend and we had to walk the last part. We also decided to make use of the breakfast offer. The breakfast isn't anything special (a bit better than continental breakfast), but for 7€ per person is is a good price/quality ratio. The room and the bathroom was very clean and there hasn't been any issue to complain about. It was also a good service to have a safe in your rooms without extra charge. The only absurd thing that happend was the $1-fee for storing our luggage in a public room of the hotel for a couple hours without any specific check of the luggage. Altogether I can recommend the hotel to nearly every kind of traveler. If you get this hotel for an achievable price, do it.

Actually we have a dog which is hard to find the hotel in Milan accepting dog. Lucky this hotel is accept but just to pay 5 Euro in additional. We got the room in roof top floor .It's clean and good atmosphere. Just too loud because near the main street and the room is too small because under roof. The excellent thing is location which is super near subway station.

The hotel was fabulous! My only complaint is that we were on the ground floor and the metro ran right under our room. It does stop around midnight, but I believe starts up again at 5AM. Everything else about the hotel was wonderful. And, the price of the room was great even with the noise of the metro.

We had an excellent stay in this hotel. It is conveniently located opposite the Metro "Lotto" (approx 20-30m), which is easy to navigate to from the Milan Central Station. To get around Milan by public transport, subway is the only way to go...and for this reason this hotel was excellent. The rooms were clean, comfortable, spacious and well priced for Italy! Staff were kind to non-Italian speaking people. Would absolutely stay here again.

Although we booked upgrading to superior, the room was really small to be a superior room of a 4-star hotel. The rest respected the hotel information and expectations. Although the room window was on the street, we heard no noises and could sleep really well.

At B&B price (unrefundable), we were satisfied with our overall stay. As we used navigator, we had no particular problem in finding hotel. And it can be easily found because it lies in open area. Breakfast was good enough, bathroom was clean. Room wasn't big but cozy and quite. We couldn't stay longer in hotel to go sightseeing but we would like to visit here again if we have a chance to go to Milan later on.

The best feature of the Montebianco is its excellent location with the shuttle buses from the airports stopping nearby in the Fiera Milano and the entrance to the metro station (Lotto on the red Line 1) only a few metres from the door of the hotel and Piazza Lotto a minute's walk away. Hence, all important locations in Milan can be reached from by means of a short journey by metro, tram or bus. Other advantages are its close proximity to the San Siro football stadium (where AC Milan and Inter play) for all the football fans. Also do not miss seeing the statue of Leonardo's horse nearby at the race course and the excellent brasilian restaurant in Piazza Lotto both all of which are just a short walk from the hotel. There is also a good supermarket nearby and the De Angeli district is also close with many good restaurants and bars (plus the best ice cream shop in the city in the via Marghera). For the business traveller, the Fiera Milano exhibition is a short walk away. The only poor points were the occasionaly rather bored and less than helpful attitude of the reception staff and there is some noise from the metro. However, other good features of the hotel are the standard of the rooms and public areas and the good breakfast provided. Also mini bar and bar prices are not excessive. All in all, this is hotel offers excellent value and we would definitely us it again.

We did not like where this hotel was located at all. Everything surrounding it was graffitied. Everything was closed on Monday - had a hard time finding a place to eat. Right on the subway. The room was not very clean. The front desk was not very helpful. We figured things out the next day pretty well. Did not like Milan and probably will not return.

The hotel is amazing and a fantastic price for the quality. I had asked for a double bed however, when I arrived there were two single beds in the room. The porter quickly changed our room to a double on the second floor which was absolutely brilliant and we didn't have to pay anything extra. You should definately try to get a room on the second floor as the metro runs right under the hotel and can be quite loud but it does cease at 12.30pm. Breakfast was a selection of fresh meats, fruits, bread cereal, tea, coffee, juice and jams every morning and was well worth getting up for. It is a bit removed from the centre but the metro is literally 5 seconds from the hotel though you will need taxis back if staying out late. There is nothing much around the hotel but Milan is just amazing and there's plenty to see. The staff were really helpful aswell and could speak full english (they also told us were to go to visit the best milan hotspots for meals and drinks, very enjoyable. All in all, it's not only one of the best hotels i've stayed in, it is also the best city break my partner and I have enjoyed together. This hotel comes highly recommended.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Milan. The hotel was right next to a Metro stop, which made for easy access to downtown and other areas of the city. However, there is some minor noise from the subway trains, and our journey to the Monza racetrack was a long one. The hotel's neighborhood is the FieraMilanoCity, which is not ideal, but convenient. The room did have somewhat of a "smell" upon arrival, but it was well ventilated and though small, just as described. The bathroom was excellent. Breakfast room was large and clean, with a good "Italian" assortment of cereals, juices, meats, cheeses, breads, and treats. We may stay here again, though we feel the price was high for what we were provided. I was also disappointed that we were charged for shuttle services to the train station, when they were earlier described as complementary. However, the shuttle service was convenient. Overall a pleasant stay, though value is questionable.

Perfect place for "out of pocket" excursions, when your company is not picking up the tab. Because I did not spend my whole budget on an expensive hotel, I had enough money left over from my budget to spend on fantastic Milanese restaurants and a perfect Missoni shirt. The beautiful Italian ladies at the front desk made just the right restaurant recommendations and were very willing to share their knowledge of the city. The subway is nearby, making access to the city easy and convenient. Driving to hotel was a breeze.

This is a gem of a hotel for Milan standards. It has recently been renovated and the rooms are immaculate with comfortable beds and marble bathrooms. Ask for room 144 which has a small balcony. The public areas are nice and the breakfast is very good by italian standards. You can also have a drink in the garden. Access to Milan is very convenient as the hotel is right outside Lotto metro station and the duomo is only 10 mins away. Will definatley come back if I return to Milan.

Great hotel, very nice rooms and excellent breakfast buffet. They offer free bikes as well, just a shame that we could not use them as our stay was very short. The hotel is quite OK in terms of cleanliness, design, price and location. But, the staff was so rude, that I felt like I'm at a police station and not in a 4 star hotel where I'm a customer and not a criminal. The breakfast was also below my expectations, poor selection without any hot meal. The parking place is not included in the price (15 EUR) which could change the opinion about the good pricing who comes with a car. I would recommend this hotel for longer stay only, if the staff would be replaced and the breakfast would improve a lot.

The spot of hotel is indicated at the wrong side of the road. We reached the hotel just about midnight, but the air-condition has been shut down. The guy at the front desk could just allow to turn it on from 2 more hours. We have to make good use of cold shower to cool ourselves down for a better dream. The windows are totally blocked by the blinders and find no way to open these inside the room. Since I just stayed for a signle night and did not try to figure out this problem. So, I cannot be waked up by sun. Shame! The hotel offers airport shuttle car to Linate for 4 peoples at 45Euro. But ATM is at 1Euro to S. Babila with bus transfer to Linate Airport. Yeah, it's a nice room, but the receptionists were SO incredibly rude to us that it made us absolutely HATE staying here. (The one only good thing about staying here was that there was a great restaurant nearby.) I don't think they should brag about being a four star hotel either, because it didn't feel like it. There was a dog in a room barking nonstop one morning, and the receptionists did nothing about it. And it doesn't help that Milan is the absolute worst city in Italy in visit. My advice: not only should you not go to this hotel, but you shouldn's even bother going to this cultural wasteland of a city either.

This hotel is so easy to find and travel to. Its just a few stops on the metro from most major points in the city, i.e.-the train station and the doumo. Once at the metro stop, the hotel is just a few steps from one of the exits. This hotel is in a relatively quiet neighborhood away from the center of most activity but is really convenient with the closeness of the metro. Although, there are few restaurants in the neighborhood, there is a supermarket around the corner. The room I got was small, okay pretty tight; but the room appeared to be all newly renovated. The bathroom was exceptional- nice tile with facilities usually found in 4/5 star hotels. Also the continental breakfast was the best I found (of the 6 hotels in Italy in which I stayed.) I didn't find anything negative about the hotel.

Excellent breakfast, esp. eggs were great. Location is okay, close to Duomo, but you have to walk 10-15 min to the station (roads are narrow so it might be a little bit annoying with big luggage...). You also might have to wait for a staff to open the gate, but overall the hotel is good.

Great property at a great price. Breakfast was Excellent and it is so close to public transport (Subway). It was a little bit noisy though because the subway was so close. However i would highly reccommend this hotel and would definately stay there again.

This hotel is a must for people who want to take in the culture and atmosphere of milan. Located just outside the main shopping area of milan, Mote Bianco offers you a nice comfortable stay for a very good price. The Best attraction around Monte Bianco is the San Siro Stadium. This satdium is home to AC Milan and Inter Milan, the two local football sides. The stadium is located 10min from the Monte Bianco hotel and this for me was a real bonus. I chose to take a cab for my shopping trips to the center of milan but if you want to explore and take in the surroundings thae its around about 15-20 min walk from the Monte Bianco. Overall i would reccommend this hotel to anyone wanting to visit the capital of Milan. Its a charming place with nice decor and very polite staff. The breakfast offered to you in the morning is great with a wide selection of cereals and toasts along with lovely fruit juices to choose from. Everything about the hotel was nice and warming. The room was very clean with fresh towels, little mini shampoo and conditioners, shower caps, etc. The hotel room also has an electric shutter that blocks out all light..this is good if you have been out the night before and you have a hang over and you dont wwant any light pouriong in first thing in the morning. They have good wardrobe space along with a generous amount of hangers to hang your clothes on. Overall a great little hotel to reside in. i will be returning next year and this is top of my places to stay.

It was a great pleasure to stay at the hotel, and in comparison to the price payed it was really excellent. Very clean and nice room, a beautiful bathroom and a nice breakfast buffet in the morning. The only complaint is the guy in the reception in the afternoon - he wasn't very willing to answer our few questions - he just told us to read in the weekly newspaper for tourists! That was a bit disappointing! But apart from that we have nothing to complain about. The area is not really interesting, but it only takes 10 minutes by metro to go to the center of Milano, so it was not a problem. We went to see a football game at the San Siro stadium, which is only a 20 minutes walk away. The hotel can definitely be recommended!

The hotel proved to be up to our expectations under every respect. The location is most appropriate for the Fiera Milano area and the hotel is well connected to all types of public transport in Milan; rooms are very clean, well aired and well furnished. Prices for week-end stayings are very favourable.

I was really pleased - and surprised - by the quality of the hotel. Excellent value for money, in a prime location for the San Siro stadium, where we were headed for a match on the night of our stay in Milan. I have nothing but praise for this hotel. Excellent!

Very clean, well kept hotel. Ideal location for those travelling to Milan for a football match as it's a short walk from the San Siro. Also located directly outside a Metro station, providing easy access to the city centre. Would visit again.

The hotel staff were excellent and very accomodating. The rooms were very clean and comfortable, with a spacious bathroom. Be careful when arriving by train as the hotel is not as close to the train station as the map makes it appear. A taxi/bus/underground are probably the best ways to get to the hotel.

Lovely clean hotel with very pleasant staff and well situated for our visit to the San Siro stadium (10 minutes walk). Spacious triple room with air-conditioning and spotless toilet/bathroom. The city centre is very accessible as the Lotto Metro station is right next to the hotel. I will certainly stay at the Monte Bianco the next time Celtic play in Milan! Thank you.

A very nice hotel, extremely clean, beautiful rooms (a little bit of luxus). The hotel is far from down town but its very easy to find by metro. Only 20m from Lotto subway station (and there are signs that lead to hotel). The staff was very nice and helpful and te breakfast was ok. Very cheap hotel comparing to what you get. Only minus was that you can hear the subways going under the hotel. But it is not disturbing.
