Great location and great decor, the stuff was very helpful ( especially luca ). They have a very popular " cocktail hour " that can be kind of noisy if you have a room facing the street ( like we had ).

The hotel was located in the center of everything. The rooms very well done in a bold contempery style. I enjoyed my stay and would stay there next trip, I travel to Milan once or twice a year on Business.

In this hotel, you don't have any cleanshoes towel, you just have to ask at the reception for this service and it isn't free. By the way, this hotel is correct but a little bite expensive for small rooms.

Location is perfect once you are there but getting to it will cost you a lot unless you use a lot of public transportation. Rooms do not meet expectation and Hotel has a lot of additional charges that appear on your credit card after the fact.

Great architecture. Detailed finishing not brilliant - some cracks, bad joins, rough filling in and overpainting - but main structure and surfaces in good condition. Not too high on practicality - basin could not hold soap, nowhere to put hand towels, nowhere to put suitcases, no draws in room. But... stunning minimalist architecture. Very good bathroom. Very quiet room. Brilliant staff.

A very unusual hotel. (Unusual in a good way.) Terrific location: central for walking to major sights. Unique and very stylish decor. Very competent and accommodating staff. We had a problem with a noisy air conditioning system in our room, but when we spoke to management about the problem, they upgraded us to a suite, which was very appreciated. Breakfast area was too small and crowded to easily accommodate the large number of guests.

Conveniently located near the Cathedral and La Scala. Friendly, helpful staff. Very modern amenities including a terrific massage chair in the room. This hotel comes highly recommended!!

The modern design was to severe to provide comfort to older people, the lack of a chair instead of hassocks and the total black color in the room were depressing. However the staff was very friendly and provided excellent service.

The hotel is very good and the location is perfect, in the center of Milan. I strongly recommend this hotel for anyone that likes good design. The breakfast is also quite good.

Design hotel - comfortable bedding - great lighting with lots of settings - flatscreen TV en internet - spectacular (but not practical)bathroom clad with copper plating. Very friendly staff at check in - very unfriendly staff at breakfast - perfect location next to Duomo

CHECKED IN LATE TO THE HOTEL BUT RECEIVED A VERY CHEERFUL WELCOME! ROOM VERY INTERESTING ONE WOULD HAVE TO LOVE CONTEMPERY INTERIORS. How to reach Hotel Straf

By car
From the highway, exit at Viale Certosa and drive following the signs to the city centre until piazza Firenze. At this square turn right onto via Cenisio, driving until the end and passing the square with the monumental cemetery. At this square, turn right at the traffic light into via Ceresio. Pass piazza Baiamonti and drive into viale Crispi, at the second traffic light. Drive straight past Bastioni di Porta Nuova, piazza Principessa Clotilde and viale Monte Santo. Drive across piazza Repubblica and turn right down Bastioni di Porta Venezia, going along the public gardens. Turn right at the traffic light into Corso Venezia and drive straight on until piazza San Babila, turning right at the traffic light onto Corso Matteotti until piazza Meda. Turn left onto via Hoepli and turn right at the traffic light into via Agnello. Take a left, go straight until the traffic lights and drive straight ahead on via San Raffaele. The hotel lies on the right hand side.

By train
From Milano centrale railway station, take the underground until the Duomo stop, which is right next to the hotel.

By airplane
Malpensa airport is a 45-minute drive from the hotel.
Linate airport is a 20-minute drive away.
From both airports, take the airport shuttle (bus or train) to the central station and continue by underground.
