Hotel Straf - Milan

Terrific hotel and location, will stay there again for sure next year

- In the room (Suite 605!) we missed a shoehorn. - In the Mini-Bar(s) could be a little bottle of champagne. - It was a little bit difficult to find out the correct light switch for the different lamps But: It was a wonderful stay in an excellent hotel!!

Great location and great decor, the stuff was very helpful ( especially luca ). They have a very popular " cocktail hour " that can be kind of noisy if you have a room facing the street ( like we had ).

The hotel was located in the center of everything. The rooms very well done in a bold contempery style. I enjoyed my stay and would stay there next trip, I travel to Milan once or twice a year on Business.

In this hotel, you don't have any cleanshoes towel, you just have to ask at the reception for this service and it isn't free. By the way, this hotel is correct but a little bite expensive for small rooms.

Location is perfect once you are there but getting to it will cost you a lot unless you use a lot of public transportation. Rooms do not meet expectation and Hotel has a lot of additional charges that appear on your credit card after the fact.

Great architecture. Detailed finishing not brilliant - some cracks, bad joins, rough filling in and overpainting - but main structure and surfaces in good condition. Not too high on practicality - basin could not hold soap, nowhere to put hand towels, nowhere to put suitcases, no draws in room. But... stunning minimalist architecture. Very good bathroom. Very quiet room. Brilliant staff.

A very unusual hotel. (Unusual in a good way.) Terrific location: central for walking to major sights. Unique and very stylish decor. Very competent and accommodating staff. We had a problem with a noisy air conditioning system in our room, but when we spoke to management about the problem, they upgraded us to a suite, which was very appreciated. Breakfast area was too small and crowded to easily accommodate the large number of guests.

Conveniently located near the Cathedral and La Scala. Friendly, helpful staff. Very modern amenities including a terrific massage chair in the room. This hotel comes highly recommended!!

The modern design was to severe to provide comfort to older people, the lack of a chair instead of hassocks and the total black color in the room were depressing. However the staff was very friendly and provided excellent service.

The hotel is very good and the location is perfect, in the center of Milan. I strongly recommend this hotel for anyone that likes good design. The breakfast is also quite good.

I really enjoyed my stay and would highly recommend anyone looking for a nice weekend break should definately go there

Enjoyed my stay at Straf and its modern counterpoint to all the history in the vicinity. I would definitely stay there again. Very hip but still comfortable.

Design hotel - comfortable bedding - great lighting with lots of settings - flatscreen TV en internet - spectacular (but not practical)bathroom clad with copper plating. Very friendly staff at check in - very unfriendly staff at breakfast - perfect location next to Duomo

Nice, very modern hotel. Very hard to find. Suggest parking in Duomo lots and walking to find hotel- one block from Duomo square

CHECKED IN LATE TO THE HOTEL BUT RECEIVED A VERY CHEERFUL WELCOME! ROOM VERY INTERESTING ONE WOULD HAVE TO LOVE CONTEMPERY INTERIORS. MYSELF & MY HUSBAND DO SO WE WERE VERY HAPPY WITH THE HOTEL.STAFF WERE VERY NICE AND HELPFUL AS WE ASKED FOR MANY RECOMMENDATIONS ON WHERE TO EAT & DRINK!A SPECIAL WORD HAS TO BE SAID ABOUT MARTINO CENDOU WHO COULDN'T HAVE BEEN MORE HELPFUL THROUGHOUT OUR STAY. THANKS AGAIN HIS SERVICE WAS OUTSTANDING EVERY HOTEL SHOULD HAVE ONE & HE DESERVES A RAISE!!!

A very chic hotel located in the very heart of Milan.....excellent decor, location and definately on my list of top hotels.....would stay again if visiting Milan!
