Hotel Silver - Milan

Hotel accomodations were excellent (room, cleanliness, quiet) and front desk service was excellent(welcoming, helpful, sincere). However, reason for diminished ratings in all counts is due to extremely poor quality of food in hotel restaurant.

This hotel was a great experience: spacious and well equiped rooms, furnuture was new and the bathroom was perfect. The design made with a lot of taste. This hotel is situated within 15 minutes by car from the center of the city / 7-10 minutes by car to the metro station. A perfect place to stay if you have a car, the best 4* hotel we've seen in Italy so far.

Although rated 4 star, we found this hotel should be rated a 5 star. The room was immaculately clean and the service was better than the Milton Stucky Hilton in Venice! The staff went out of their way to make our stay comfortable and memorable. Chef Andre made us feel like royalty, the front desk was really helpful and the cleaning staff were on top of things. Location wise, it was perfect for us. We used Milan as a base to do day trips out to Lake Como, Portofino and surrounding areas. It was great to access the highways without fighting city traffic. Even going into downtown took us only 15 minutes! I highly recommend this hotel to anyone that is looking for great amenities at a reasonable price.

I took my girlfriend away for Milan Fashion Week 2009 as a birthday present. The Hotel was very good and everything as described - rooms, breakfast etc. The sunken bath was a lovely touch and the facilities are very good. More suited to visitors with cars as you have your own car port. The nearest Metro station is a taxi ride away so location is the only thing letting this hotel down. Great supermarket next door though and the staff are generally pretty helpful though their English is as limited as my Italian at times. If I visited Milan again I would stay closer to the City centre but nonetheless it was worthy of its four star rating and the price was very reasonable.

Good design rooms with new forniture, good location near the freeway, good breakfast service and very clean ambient. Good stay!!
