I booked this for my parents and they could not say enough good things about this hotel; whilst rooms are on the smaller side they are spotlessly clean and would definitely book again! Kara ( on behalf of Erik and Vikki Renno)

I chose to stay at Hotel Roxy partly because it presented an economical deal and also because the location suited my needs in Milan. As a single traveller I don't expect a spacious room, but the room I had, while small, was spotlessly clean and the bathroom was stocked with the necessary toiletries. The breakfast was buffet-style with a good range of cold meats, cheese, yoghurts and brioche. While some reviewers comment on the noise of the trams, I didn't have a problem as my room looked out onto the rear courtyard and it was very quiet. The staff of the Roxy are delightful - friendly and extremely helpful. I'd definitely stay there again

We quite liked the neighborhood -- it was very convenient for getting around the city, and the room and beds were very comfortable. The only negative thing is that the people staying on the same floor as us were quite loud and could be heard even with our door and their doors closed. The staff is very friendly and helpful, the room and bathroom were very clean, and breakfast was good.

Great hotel, good breakfast, clean room/bath, staff friendly, & great location. Close to trams and tourist areas. Only bad thing is noise from trams in the street outside the front door.

The rooms booked were pathetically small. Very disappointing. The Staff were very polite and friendly. Would not book again because of size of room and also the noise in the early hours of the morning was frightening when recyling of bottles woke everyone up and lasted for ages.

Hotel Roxy is a nice hotel middle in Milan, just 10 minutes far away from the Dom, less than 5 minutes until Corso Buenos Aires. The rooms are very clean (daily cleaning) & the rooms surface is big enough. The breakfast is rich - sweedish buffet - it goes from ham & cheese to cereals, croissants, marmelade, excelent italian coffee, tea or milk. Positive also regarding the personnel. If you check for a hotel in Milan, I kindly reccommend it.

Fairly nice hotel. Excellent breakfast!! Not far from the Metro and a quick ride to the train station. Although there is absolutely nothing to do around the hotel. Hard to find a gelato place. They provided satellite and free internet. Front desk can be a little bit more friendly.

The hotel was close enough to the city centre for us to walk and was quiet enough for a good night;s sleep. Breakfast was good. The staff were excellent and helpful. The room was a little small but adequate for our needs and quite clean. We would recommend this hotel to our friends.

Super friendly, helpful and competent staff. Small room & bathroom, but OK for short stay. Price vs quality ratio excellent. Small buffet breakfast (bread, cheeses, cereals, 2 type of cold meat, plenty of sweet cakes & croissants, fresh fruit). Easy access by trams (from Duomo or Central Railway station) but not very good How to approach -advice. Taxi 8 euros from railway station. Tram stops (3 lines) are 20-50 meters. Big supermarket in 50 meters.

Very helpful staff even before we got to Milan, communicating through email re: getting us tickets for Da Vinci's Last Supper. Double the regular price but didn't know you can call the place directly, was saying sold out on the website. Very welcoming at the reception desk & great breakfast bar. Enjoyed our 2 nights stay even though Milan was a bit expensive.

Upon arrival the receptionist asked me if my girlfriend was over 18, he did ask in a very ironic way which was utterly inappropriate and besides he had her passport to look at. (She's 29 btw) In the morning, maids were chatting very loud clearly trying to get us out asap to clean our room... The towels were dirty on both days. Will try to avoid it next time.

We found the location excellent with regard to metro, shopping, restaurants.Trams and street cleaning was horrendous and next door bathrooms noisy. However its a city and you expect noise so not really a complaint.

The hotel was great. The welcome was not as fantastic. I arrived on an early morning flight from Australia and I had emailed the hotel asking if I could come early in the morning to leave my bags. The hotel responded that this was more than ok, but when I arrived the man at the desk told me it was too early. He allowed me to leave me bags but was not very friendly. The hotel is in an excellent location, only a 5 minute maximum walk from the metro station Porta Venezia which is on the main line 1, only 2 or 3 stops from Duomo. The hotel was clean and comfortable and I would stay here again.

Only stayed for 2 nights and at rear of building so the tram noise was not too much to bear. It would have been good to know about the tram number to catch from that Statzione Centrale - could this information be added to the website? Make sure you catch the 9 tram around to the canal district - great market stalls on the weekend and 'happy hour' buffets in lots of funky bars.

Italian boy. B&B for business. Good location near at tram stop (40-50 m) number 29-30-9, but aloof far subway station (about 300 m on foot). Reception very avaliable. You hear a critial sound due to tram very often, when you stay in room.

Hotel located approx 20 minutes to walk to the city center, but it's a very noisy area. It's small street with a train and cars. Our room was located on the top floor, but we still had noise from outside and from the corridor. Room is too small.

Generell empfehlenswert.

This in general was a nice place to stay for the price we got. The room was extremely tiny, with a small bathroom, but clean and well-furnished. It's hard to describe, but the room didn't have a welcoming feeling, however, and felt dim and sterile. There was one large window, but it looked out over an alley so it was especially unwelcoming. The bathroom was ok but tiny. Breakfast was alright with rolls, cheese, croissants, and great cappucinos. Breakfast staff was not particularly welcoming either, but we learned quickly that this is frequently the case in Italy. Reception desk however was very helpful, spoke pretty good English, and courteous. The public spaces within the hotel are tiny and nothing to write home about. Finally, it is located in a very out of the way part of Milan, and the walk from the train station is too much with luggage. Despite these concerns, we had a satisfactory stay because we felt we got what we paid for. It was a nice place to rest your head for a nice for cheap, but it probably won't be very memorable.
