The hotel is not clean, filthy inside, pictures on tha wall don't even hang straight, toilet-door couldn't close, staff would not respond to our complains regarding the past-midnight party in the next room, the front-desk gave us wrong directions regarding the bus to down-town etc. etc. However, this was low-budget hotel - and as such not expensive.

big room and bathroom, has a bacolny in the room. sometimes guests forget to close the elevator door we had to climb the stairs to 6th floor...a little far away from tube station, about 15mins walk. otherwise everything is great.

Room decor very dated and poorly finished. No plug in sink. 20 euro for breakfast(which was a brioche,a yogurt and a juice)!Read the small print! 10 euro to park in the hotel carpark. 5 euro to use the internet connection. Old style lift which requires the outer door to be closed or it won't work, guests constantly leaving door open and so lift won't work. Not good if you are on the top floor. Reception staff very pleasent and friendly. But just felt ripped off. Breakfast at the cafe/bar on the corner 4 euro. Go there instead.

If you arrive for a weekend no bar is open or restaurant. There is a bar on the corner of the street which is very good and a chinese further down the road which is good value. The bedrooms are in good condition and very clean. For a reasonably cheap hotel it is value for money

Non c'è neanche un asta dove appendere il bocchettone della doccia! Il tutto nello squallore e nella stanzetta misera e mai rinnovata. Se appena appena puoi, puoi trovare qualcosa di meglio. Se lo conosci lo eviti.

Excellent place where to stay. Just on the outskirt of Milan, but well connected to city centre. Beautiful rooms, and Jo is a great host. A place to try!

Its not quite in the city center but the metro is just a short walk and two stops down you get to the city. But for the price it was excellent.

The hotel was of a reasonable standard for the price. Large room , clean en-suite facilities. Large buffet breakfast. Staff helpful. The hotel is a bit out of the city and not in best area. 15 muinute walk to tram or metro into centre but connecting bus nearby. Overall I was satisfied with my stay.

About the only thing this hotel has going for it is there is parking onsite and the breakfast is included. The hotel is not located in a comforting part of the city. The "park" location is an overgrown field. A bit hard to find. Most disturbing was the noise level within the rooms. I was awakened during the night simply by my next-door neighbors having a normal conversation ... not to mention the crying baby above me! This was our final stop in Italy and our most disappointing. Look for somewhere else to stay.

the rooms are as the photos show, well clean and spacious.the internal parking is very helpfull if you will arrive with car. the morning staff give you no information you required(about parkings in differents areas of milano, about a big and very known show just few meters from the hotel...)it s a shame... the price is ok.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definately recomment the Rex. Everyone was very helpful, and patient with our limited Italian. The restaurant served us late lunch upon our exhausted arrival, even though we now think they were closed (Thanks Angela!). We would definately go back to the Rex!

Got Really Lost trying the find the place - The are lots of exits coming up from the metro. I found no map to help me find this hotel. We asked locals, but still had trouble as langue barrier, but managed to get there in the end. 1 hour later, when it should really have only taken about 15 mins. The electricy went in our room - We had to wait 1hr 30 until some one could come, as no-one could leave the desk. We sat in the dark. no applogie.

not very expensive, but in a pretty gray side of milan... confortable if you have to go to the airport or to the railway station, since it is near the subway and near the motorway too.

We were extremely grateful for the "Rex" signs in the area that led us to the hotel on a rainy, foggy night (after getting lost in Milan)!! It was also very nice to find English speaking receptionists and to have our rooms available upon our late arrival. Thanks!!

THE HOTEL WAS SUPOOSED TO BE RENEWED JUST 2 YEARS AGO. OUR ROOM HAD A DOOR AND A BATHROOM DOOR FORM THE FIFTIES, ROOM NR. 3 IS NOT WORTH AT ALL.PROBABLY THE OTHERS ARE BETTER BUT NO BIG DEAL FOR THE MONEY. JUST AL LESS YOU CAN EXPECT FROM ROOM AND PEOPLE AT THE DESK. I WILL NOT BE BACK ANYMORE. AREA AROUND THE HOTEL IS NOT VERY QUIET AT NIGHT... TOO.

The reason we picked the Rex was because on the web page it said that there was a direct bus from hotel to Filaforum. Unfortunately this was not the case. We pointed this out to the owners and they were going to change their website immediately. Very happy with the hotel and service whilst staying there.

Considering that the three star level, the room is a bit cheaper and poorer in terms of the size, cleanliness and air (some bad smell). The price of 90 euro per night might be okay at this time of the year.

Easy Hotel to find, Hotel staff welcoming (tourist information available), reception welcoming and relaxing with internet. Room clean and comfortable. Discription of hotel and facilaties very good. Reasonable choices for Breakfast buffet. No parks near by. Bus and Metro very easy to get around and use.

We chose a hotel which includes an underground garage for our car and on the venere homepage of the hotel rex milano the was a symbol of parking garage. But when we arrived there, there wasn´t. There was only hidden place behind the hotel, and we had to pay for this place in the courtyard EUR 10,- and there was no guarantee of being savety there. Please be sure, that the services you show from the hotels on your homepage is available.
