Way over priced for a depressing place. The room was dimly lit. The bathroom was poky and shower recess was too small. The overall impression is shabbiness. The breakfast was very ordinary.

The owner was very friendly. It was felt that the price didn't reflect the location as it was possible to get the same price hotel near to the main station. The hotel was however well recieved. Rooms good size bathroom small however the top floor room had a big room and bathroom compared to the first floor. Good view onto the balacony only shame was the bird poo which hadn't clean up overtime Breakfast was o.k was expecting more selection cereal etc. It was just pastries. The only thing which was disappointing was the when booking through the site it stated 10 mins walk to the main attractions. Which is not the hotels fault. It was 2 stops on the metro which is about 10mins. Metro stop a few mins walk from the hotel. I would stay again at the hotel. I would recommend the hotel if your not looking to be near the main attractions and don't mind walking to the Duome which l estimate would take around 25 mins.

I stayed Two nights. it's a cheap hotel, clean, bathroom + Tv, reception 24h open and Really well situated. But, you're not coming in Milan to sleep, are you ? It's a good price/quality hotel for people who want to enjoy the city and not the luxury of an hotel.

How to reach Hotel Piola

By car
From the highway, take the tangenziale est and exit at Lambrate. Continue through via Porpora-via Lombardia and piazza Pola and take the first right.

By train
From Milano Centrale railway station, take the underground to the Piola stop, which is 150 metres from the hotel.

By airplane
From Milan airports, take the airport shuttle to the central station and continue by underground to Piola, just 150 metres from the hotel.
