Everything OK. I wouldnt rank hotel as 5 star, more 4 star. Also The price was in the rank of 4 stars hotel. Stuff not particulary friendly, except the waiter at dinner.

Not a 5 stars hotel by any mean, somehow between 3 and 4

This hotel is billed as a five star, it is NOT. The rooms were well appointed and nice. But it is not a five star as Americans think of it. They have an elevator, a bar, and a closet they call a fitness center; that may be where they are acquiring their stars. Let me be clear, if you are staying here, you are booking only a room. They pretend to have a concierge, but despite repeated requests for help with dinner reservations, etc., and promises by him he would look into it and call back, he never did. And this is several people, not just one guy having a bad day. The hotel is on the very "outter" part of the inner "ring" when you look at the map, it is probably a 20 minute walk to the Duomo. We are very respectful travelers, learning the language where we go, dressing appropriately (no loud sports shirts or jeans, all khakis and skirts in our group) and greated the staff and inquired about our reservation all in Italian. Despite that, we were looked down on like fanny-packing hicks from the sticks. The Venere price was half of what the hotel had on its own website, and interestingly the hotel refused to book my reservation over the phone even with a credit card, insisting I go on their website. I should have picked up on the lack of customer service there.

Excelente situación para explorar Milán. Bien comunicado con Metro, y posibilidad de recorrer todo el centro histórico caminando desde el hotel. Buena insonorozación. Baño algo pequeño. Habitación excelente. Desayuno suficiente. Staff agradable. Lo recomiendo.

The staff was not particularly friendly. They were not rude but kind of indifferent. The location is in the small uninteresting street. It takes about 25 minutes to get to the Duomo by foot. The hotel has its own style. The rooms are quite convenient.

Breakfast included eggs and bacon on first morning - then they suddenly disappeared but a menu charging for cooked items was on every dining table day 2 and 3 - as we had already paid for bed and breakfast we weren't sure if scrambled eggs was included in our deal - 7euros - and the waiter was not sure either - so we stuck to continental, but even the fresh fruit salad out on day one - Friday diappeared on the Saturday and Sunday. 5 star category - you do expect good service - asked if the bar was open at 12.10 on Saturday night (after returning from the opera) and the security guard said it was closed so no nightcap available.

It's fine with a outstanding location, but I have certainly been in four star hotels which were more luxurious. I don't get it, although rating inflation seems to be a theme in milan. Certainly stay there if the price is right, but don't expect to be impressed by the hotel itself.

This hotel was probably the greatest one in Milano in the early 80's. Could use a renovation. I paid 140 euros por a double room at a unusual oportunity. The regular price is totaly unfair for what the hotel really has to offer.

For a 5 stars hotel, the room was too small, and the menu at the restaurant of the hotel not sufficieltly elaborated, but otherwise, since we were just passing by, the stay was perfect.

Rate for the garage really high. I parked my car in the garage for 10 hours and i paid Euro 26,00. In the hotel information it is shown that hotel offers a garage. But garage is 150 meter far away and do not belongs to the hotel. It is cheaper to pay directly at the garage as to pay it at the hotel.

Single room was very small, specially the bathroom. Situated in a nice area with bars, resaurants and shops. Not far from the subway. 15 - 20 min. walk to the Duomo. I stayed four days, breakfast good, staff helpful but not overwhelming. Quiet rooms. I will return, but preferably in a double room which I expect to be more spacious. The 5 stars could though be a matter of discussion.

This hotel is very misleading from the pictures and description. There was no quality of service with the staff and the surrounding area (grafitti on every possible surface in sight) was not anywhere I would want to be on anything but a business trip or a quick overnight stay passing through town. While it may have been within walking distance (long walks)I would look for better areas to stay if you are going to Milan. The rooms were very dark and dreary and the lights did nothing to make it brighter. We did not eat any meals at the hotel but there were also no good restaurants in the area so we ate near the Duomo. It is a quick cab ride (with bags) to the train for transport to the airport but that is really the only small benefit I saw. Also, 2 times we put the do not disturb sign on the door when we left the room and both times the cleaning people came in anyway - and removed the signs. Since there was not a working safe, we used the "Do not Disbturb" sign because we left valuables in the room. Nothing was taken but I feel any good hotel honors the request of the guests and this was not the case here.

Ofcourse it is not a 5 star hotel, but it is nice. Sometimes feels like you are in an old casket, all walls decorated with fabric, not wallpapers. Single room is very small and there is no so much sunshine from the window. There were very few guests in the hotel, but on a fifth day of my stay, somebody moved into neighbor room and everytimed they watched tv, I heard it. It was really hot outside and the very good thing was that the conditioner in all hotel worked perfectly. The brakfast was also not bad, thare were a lot of different serials, fresh fruit salad and many other fruits accasible, caprese salad, many pies, cakes and toasts, different yogurts, sausages, but... no eggs, no omlets. You can only order it for extra money. Location is good. 15 minutes slow walk from Duomo, or you can take a tram that goes every 10 minuts and be there in 5 minutes (3 tram stations). Three english chanels on TV: CNN, Euronews and SkyCinema. To sum up for 119 euro it was almost perfect hotel.

The room the gave me was smaller than the lift (it was n. 111). It was so small that there was place only for a single bed and a table (A3 size) without a chair (the television was on a shelf on the wall). The moquette is old and smells of soap, the furniture is old. For 170 € in Milan you can find a better place. It is a (not so good) 3 stars hotel.

I can only recommend the PIERRE Hotel in Milan. The staff is very competent, friendly, helpful and knowledgeable about the surroundings, metro, tramway, sightseeing etc... Everybody speaks a decent english. The rooms are rather small but wonderfully appointed. The bathrooms are elegant, although a bit small but everything works well. The breakfast is one of the best I have had in Ialy ! Best quality and variety. The fresh fruit exquisite, different breads, cereals, cheeses --especially the goat cheese !--. Ask for their delicious cappuccino, it´s included ! The location is ideal, close to a tram station taking you everywhere, close to the Duomo. Try to get a Galleria ticket to the Scala, going there ca. 2 1/2 hours before the performance. A Galleria Ticket costs only 5 euros. As for the Da Vinci painting, you will have to reserve weeks in advance. You can do that through the hotel. I have to recommend a restaurant nearby : The Pizzeria tradizionale, Via De Amicis 24. They have much much more than pizza, superbe quality food at affordable prices, very welcoming ! Have a wonderful stay !

Wow! Would return to Milan just so we could stay here again. 5-star quality in every respect - the room, the restaurant, the oriental rugs, and most of all, the helpfulness and quality of the service throughout. And on the weekends it is a 6-star bargain because it appears to cater to businesses during the week.

This hotel is old, it is the hotel which comes well and makes age feel. But now, a little lonesome impression was received. The room was not wide, also the furniture is everything old ones, but as for those being cared well, being something which makes dignity feel, as for atmosphere was very good, is. As also the other person says, breakfast very was splendid, enjoyed the Italian fresh cheese with olive oil and the salt pepper. Also the cappuccino was highest. Ventilation of the room not to be good, because smell is easy to be confined to the room, I recommend that favorite room deflection glance is carried.

Although the room was small in comparison to rooms generally offered in the U.S., it was absolutely wonderful! It was decorated very classy and upscale and very modern. Had very nice amenities. The lobby area was beautiful and the front desk and all employees that I was in contact with were courteous, friendly and very helpful. Fabulous Complimentary Continental Breakfast in the mornings in a lovely dining area. Also had a very nice restaurant for dining at night and a small lovely bar area. Great price, fantastic five-star hotel! We were allowed to check in early and given upgraded rooms without requesting them. Everything was spotless and high quality. The TV, lights and window coverings were all electronic and could be switched on/off from the bedside. Bathrooms were wonderful - tub/shower combination and beautiful glass mosaic tiles. The location was convenient to see The Last Supper. Some outside noise and a violinist next door made for some nap interruption. Otherwise, the hotel was by far the best we had during our two-week stay in Italy.

The hotel was very nice, with great accommodations, and a friendly staff. Only down side within the hotel, was the air conditioning. It is controlled by the front desk, and it was almost always too cold or too hot. The location isn't bad -- a healthy walk to the Duomo and to the designer shops (20-30 minute walk), but not as centrally located as expected. We would stay here again -- it was a good value for the rate.

We very much enjoyed our stay at the Pierre Milan. However, we did have a mishap when the shower head fell on my wife while she was showering. There was a minor language hiccup when I called the Front Desk and they delivered more shower caps! Once they understood, the matter was handled. We would return to the property without hesitation. Many thanks to the Venere site; it was most helpful.

This was the last hotel we stayed at on our recent trip to Italy and it was by FAR the best! We arrived after a long hard travel day and were warmly welcomed by the hotel staff. The service provided by the entire staff was excellent (the chambermaid brought extra towels and pillows without even being asked). The Junior Suite room size was adequate for our family of 4. The bathroom was relatively large and the air conditioning worked very well. The room was extremely quiet at night. There were many restaurants within an easy walk of the hotel. The breakfast was excellent. The Hotel Pierre Milano was the most expensive hotel that we stayed at during our last trip, but it was worth the extra money. We will definitely stay there on our next trip to Milan.

This hotel provided a personalized, leisurely touch in a business city. The Front Desk staff knew me by name (and room number); their restaurant staff remembered how I liked my breakfast coffee, and served it properly, without asking.

A small but welcoming hotel, very clean with excellent service from the friendly staff. Area around hotel is a little run down but typical of a large city such as Milan. Some noise in room mainly from the air conditioning and lighting in room and bathroom could be better. However, still very good value for money and would stay there again.

5 star hotel? No I don't think so but pleasant enough all the same. Convenient for the Malpensa Express, walking distance to Il Duomo but in a quiet neighbourhood with few tourists and some excellent (and reasonably priced) places to eat. Good with the kids (cots provided at no extra charge but no high chairs) and very quiet

Our room had absolutely no view at all (staight onto another very much taller building) and was always very dark. I suppose we could have moved but arrived at night and unpacked so much that it would have been an epic to move! Otherwise, excellent.

Overall I was very pleased by the Hotel. The location and the breakfast contents was not of the same high rating. I've would expect a more rich breakfast.

The hotel staff were very helpful and friendly. The hotel is of a very good standard with clean, comfortable rooms. The downsides is the breakfast.
