This is just the best accomodation you can have in Milan for such price, the best price/quality ratio! Very clean and nice rooms, kind staff, just one disadvantage: the internet on the PC in our room didn't work, but of course you can access the Internet in the lounge next to reception for free, so no problem. The breakfast was also OK, but watch the expiry date on youghurts, I had an old one:) However, I didn't notice that the breakfast staff was naughty or what like some poeple write here, or I was maybe still asleep :D Very close to metro which takes you to city center in 15 mins. There's noise when you open the window because of cars, but otherwise not, I slept well. I would definitely stay here again. You won't find anything better for that price. Ciao!

Nice welcoming and quite friendly staff. Spacious room, very clean. Great price. Very close to the center. The BIGGEST ISSUE: OUTSIDE NOISE!!! The room windows were facing towards the nearby junction with ongoing traffic. They had only a single sheet of glass offering virtually no sound isolation so you hear the traffic all night long, struggling to sleep. Also, in summer it gets very hot in room because of the windows. So if you are easily disturbed by the noise, watch out! Otherwise great value!

Buona stanza, unica pecca troppo caldo all'interno. Ottima la vicinanza con la metropolitana. Negativo l'atteggiamento della cameriera della colazione che in pratica alle 10 (orario di fine colazione) ti caccia dalla sala colazione.

Stay exceeded expectations: some negative comments read on web page did not correspond to our experience. Service was friendly and helpful. Non smoking room requested on reservation form was met. The breakfast was really poor and the staff at the breakfast restaurant even more. After 3 days nearly everything ran out and they didn't buy new stuff, so on the 4th day there was only butter, bread, a few packs of jam - no cheese, no ham, no fruits, no nothing! The receptionists were very friendly and helpful! The room on the other hand was very spacious and clean! Though it's only 6 stops to get to the city centre (Duomo), the hotel is situated on the outskirts in a kind of unlovely area. Nevertheless the price was okay.

The desk employee was lazy and his advice regarding parking was wrong and could have cost us a parking ticket. The room had NO internet connection despite the advertisement, and the lock had been broken recently, which obviously showed that the room had been recently broken into. The desk employee was unwilling to cancel the second night of our stay.

Room was clean, practical, big and quiet. However, breakfast was poor. Hotel is located only a few meters from the metro station. It allows to arrive very quickly any place of Milan. The Hotel is closed to the Fair (only 5 min walking) and there is also a station of the shuttle bus to the airport. I would return to this hotel. However it is not located on Milan's center.

Terrible service, internet was not available and they didn´t do anything to fix it, noisy rooms, front desk staff at night only speaks italian and couldn´t help. They turned off the heather at midnight and turned on untill 6 am, although it was snowing in Milan and temperature outside was -6oC. Staff in breakfast was angry, as she didn´t like her job, hurrying us. Location so far away from city center. We asked for non-smoking rooms and all our rooms stink to cigarette.

The double room that we had booked turned out to be a twin. After 20 minutes of complaining, a double room was eventually found for us, but did not appear to be totally finished (bare wires sticking out of a light switch, lack of room info - eg minibar details, broken room safe, etc.). We were rudely awoken at 4.45am with an early alarm call meant for an adjoining room. For a one night stay it was OK, but any longer and I don't think we would have been as tolerant.

I went to Milan for a conference in "Fiera Milano City", very close to the hotel (about 10 minutes walking). I slept in Wien for only 25 euros/night. Here in Milan 85-90 euros/night.. I think it's too much! The rates on Venere is 84, but if you call them directly they ask 90. why? However, the hotel is excellent and has a very plentiful breakfast.

I had a doule room for 69€, that's quite a good price for a 3* hotel in milan. Location is not in the centre of milan, but close to the ex trade fair, but you can reach the centre of milan with the underground, which is walking distance from the hotel entrance.

We were very disappointed in this hotel. With all the other great hotels in Milano, would never stay here again. Unfortunately, it was the only one with vacancies at the time. Under 'services and facilities' I gave it a 5 out of 10. That is because of the breakfast. My travelcompanion and me really loved the Hotel Oro Blu, but the breakfast is something that could improve. This was too standard and they shouldn't make instant coffee, but real coffee instead! Furthermore! We loved the hotel. It's got a reasonable price, lovely service, friendly staff and within ten minutes you reach the centre of Milan by subway. If I ever go to Milan again, I will certainly try to get a bed in Oro Blu! I stayed in a single room. The room was fairly clean and the bath also. The room could be more colorful and cheerful. The quietness may be poor if you are unlucky enough to have as neighbors noisy people. I had one night this kind of neighbors and the noise was pretty loud. The bath was clean. The shower cab was small and the shower device itself was fixed in the wall. The room service was good. They were cleaning the room every day and changed the towels.

We think Hotel Oro Blu is also the best dring our 4 week vacation. Our triple room is very clean with air-conditioning,small frige, and TV/computer. The gentleman at the reception gave professional service - very polite and helpful. The breakfast is satisfactory with fresh fruits. The metro station is nearby. For a big city like Milan and a price of 69 Euro per night for a triple room , what else do you expect? We definetely will recommend this hotel to our friends.

This hotel could do with a lick of paint and a little modernisation, but you get what you pay for and the room was spacious, it was clean and contained everything we needed for a one night stay. Location is very close to a metro station (travel cards 3 euros/day) and didn't take long to get into the heart of Milan. It was especially good as we were driving and you can park in this area for free at weekends (on the blue lines). Also it is outside of the new eco-pass congestion zone in Milan's town centre. All in all it was excellent value for money.

Oro Blu is a very nice hotel. By subway it is just a few stops from the city centre and is located at Station Lotto (The Red Line). There are also some supermarkets in de neighbourhoud which are also open at Sunday's. The San Siro Stadium is nearby. The members of staff are very friendly and they all speak English. Breakfast is very nice. A well-priced hotel for people who wanted to visit Milan.

We booked this hotel because of the favorable ratings on venere and other traveling websites. We were not disappointed. The directions were clear from train station to the subway stop only. There were no further directions provided when you reach the piazza. It is near the piazza on right side from where you get out from the subway. Not exactly the direction to the petrol station (as what the other reviewer said). Anyway look out for the blue roof that is Oro Blu. A basic map of the city was provided when checking in. The room and bathroom was spacious. The biggest room we had as we stayed in 4 other accommodations. Clean bathroom where amenities were in working order. We had to open the window when we went out as the room had a stale odor. Once we return, room had fresh air and it was ok. What was nice was the LCD TV! That was cool gadget where you can surf and watch the TV. Don't find this in many hotels. Food was very nice. Food had many varieties, warm and ample. Very generous with fruits and they were fresh. Only improvement for the hotel to look at is the staff. Can be more helpful with directions to places to go instead of handing the map and checking you in.

We stayed 3 nights in October at Hotel Oro Blu, which is in a good place and very close to metro station (Lotto). Breakfast was good (bread, mini-rolls, croissant, butter, jam, cheese, 2 type of salami, milk, 4 type of juices, tea, fruits - orange/ananas/melon). There was coffee too but not really tasty. There was minibar at the room but prices were not listed, and the safe in the room was closed so we could not use it. The room was clean, towels were changed every day. The Picanha restaurant in the hotel was expensive in my opinion, 38 eur per person for a meal, so we did not try it. There was telephone, tv, hairdryer in the room. Our room was vey spacious, and a little bit cold. To San Siro you can walk in few minutes or you can take the Tram 16. Next to the hotel there was a petrol station, under contruction, but it was not noisy. There was a restaurant at the end of the street (1 pizza 7eur + 2 eur service), where the receptionist booked a table for us. The employees were helpful but they did not speak English well. We were satisfied with everything, and would stay here again (and we have already recommend this hotel to our friends), good value for this price (151 eur for 3 nights for 2 person is a double-bed room with brekfasr, reservation made 1,5 week before travel).

The hotel is very good value for money. We stayed 3 nights in August(when many shops and restaurants are closed- as the locals head for the mountains and beaches). The 3 bedded room was larger than many we have stayed in, though the bathroom was small (and its layout could have been better ). The continental plug adaptor we brought with us was too large for the sockets- but reception was able to loan us an additional adaptor. The hotel is on the opposite side of the piazza when you come out of the metro (head towards the petrol station). A large supermarket was just around the corner. The reception help and advice was excellent-we were given internet printouts of train times to Como, and he checked which museums were open on a public holiday- and also a supply of metro tickets was available to purchase on the bank holiday. Although the hotel is about 7-8 minutes from the centre by metro, the quiet location and high standards and great value for money more than outweigh the fact you are not in the centre of Milan.

The hotel was great for only 45 euro. Only one minutes walk to the metro & great size rooms. The staff were very friendly & parking was right out the front for no extra charge. No trouble recommending this hotel for the price

Hotel Oro Blu is a very good place to stay, there is a Brasilian restaurant (where you take your 'big' breakfast)- a real one with delicious meat at a really low price (all in the menu is at pleasure !) entries, pasta, meat, dessert, drink AND coffee for only 15 euros ! we loved this place that people says in winter is much more expansive...

Only problem was condition of one of the beds. The moment I sat on it it collapsed. Apparently someone tried to be funny and sabotaged it or somebody before me has had a problem with it and failed to asswemble it properly. Fortunately I could repair it myself. Staff was perfect, spoke english and was very helpfull.

This is a simple hotel, that suits someone looking for a short stay. The room was small but clean. The bathroom was also small but quite adequate for an overnight stay.

Nice hotel very conveniently located for the metro. Immediate surroundings are rather disappointing and there is a lack of bars and restaurants nearby. Car parking as slightly misleading as we faced an unexpected payment of 15-20 euros a day.

It's quite near subway and supermarket area. But the price is not standard. I extended 2 more nights by asking the price with night shift employee first which was Euro170 per night. Then the price on the bill was more expensive which was Euro220 per night. The reason which they told me is new employee didn't know the rate. So senior employee offered me Euro190 per night for discount after my stay. So how can I do, I had no choice.

We stayed only one night but it was very enjoyable. Dispite it is not situated in the historic center, the hotel is quite easy to find and about 5mn driving from downtown. The staff is very welcoming. Rooms are clean, spacious and quiet. You may enjoy a "brasilian style" dinner at the restaurant (huge menu all included for 35€). The underground parking is not free but it is very easy to park besides the hotel. Note that Venere.com offers great rates on this 3 stars hotel, considering how expensive Milano can be!

Oro Blu is very close to the underground trains which take you to the center in 7 minutes. A large chaep supermarket is only 100 metres away. Breakfast was excellent, we could order as many espressos as we liked for free.

Oro Blu is really a very nice hotel, the hotel itself is great, but the main problem is it is a bit too far from the center.

Hotel is located directly to a Metrostation (Lotto Station). With a 10 minute ride you are directly in the city centre. All in all the Oro Blu Hotel is very recommendable.

In posizione strategica vicino alla vecchia Fiera di Milano ed a soli 15 minuti di metropolitana dalla nuova. Molto gentili e disponibili gli impiegati, e camere molto spaziose.

I chose this hotel because of its great location of being close to the San Siro stadium and also just a ten minute journey on the underground to the Duomo. It is a good 3 star hotel and the reception staff are very friendly and helpful. Venere.coms info on this hotel was accurate and they got me the best price for this hotel by a long shot and I will use them for my next Milan trip.

Good location. The only problem was the fact that everything in my room (carpets, curtains, bed)smelt strongly of cigarette smoke. If it wasn't for this, it would have been perfect as it is very good value for money considering the location.

A perfect hotel for a visit to the fair of Milano, the Fiera Milano. The welcoming and instructions for the fair were excellent. Also the price is reasonable for Milano, the center and airports are easily reached by Metro.

Very close to San Siro Stadim where I actually wanted to be. Breakfast at 10.00 (closing time was 10.30) was very poor. The room was a little dusty but the bathroom was well equipped and clean. I would recomend this Hotel.
