+ good location - not far from the train station and easy access to the city center. nearby there is a nice dining. - we came half an hour before check-in time and had to wait until the room will be ready. However, even at the right time, it was not ready. as a result we had to wait about 45 minutes. Though they provided free Wi-fi for an hour for that. Wifi in the hotel is too expensive.

blanket and bedspread were dirty. Blanket had a dark stain from side to side. All the furniture were very old and dirty. Outside the room there were holes in the wall exposing bricks and pipes. Bed was too firm and i had difficulties sleeping becouse of the voices of other guests. There isn't the elevator. I have never been in such a bad place in my life. I suggest everyone to stay away from This Hotel.

Nice room for a 1-star hotel, clean, TV and conditioner. Free wifi. The room was small but for me it was OK, had no need for bigger. No elevator but also no problem for me. Near to the main railway station. Only the hotel location in venere.com was a bit confusing in the printed out hotel confirmation but as I had GPS and asked people, then it was no problem to find.

Given the excellent location (easy walking distance from main train station, 30 min. walk to Duomo, supermarket close by), the price should tell you that this is pretty bare bones. But everything needed was there. The walls, though, are paper thin - luckily the clientele was very quiet during my stay.

Considering the price, location, and the quality of my room, I consider this hotel to be very good value. No complaints from me. I would stay here again. Positive.:-. A brand new flat screen TV in my room. Staff helpful & friendly. Negative::- Lobby area is in need of an upgrade. It is dowdy and unappealing. Interesting:- It takes a full 4 mins for the hot water to flow in the shower. This is a budget hotel, there is no breakfast or a lift, but it delivers a good honest service. I found signs that the owners are spending money here and there to upgrade the facilities. It is good value now, and I think it will get better.

First the room was TINY!THERE WASN'T ROOM TO SWING A CAT! Secondly, it was noisy, there was no air-conditioning and one couldn't open a window for the noise. I got hardly any sleep on the hard tiny bed. The guy on the dreception was very unobliging and there was no breakfast. Hotel Nettuno is not the place to stay. It was also expensive for the time of year. My brother paid only 35 Euro in middle of August for the centre of Florence and it was a much nicer room.

Milan was just a stopover for us; we spent one night and only wanted a hotel close to the train station. Nettuno was fine in this regard. There is a lovely restaurant just across and down the street, but not much else in the area. Nothing in particular stood out about this place except perhaps an overall feeling of it being slightly dingy. I don't think we would stay there if visiting Milan, but it was okay for a 12 hour stopover.

Although the rennovations which were underway at the hotel were not a terrible inconvenience, they did detract from the overall impression one received on arrival. The outside of the hotel was decidedly scruffy and didn't correspond to the web-page picture. However, the room was quite clean although very crowded (a triple) and dark - the small windows opened onto what can only be described as an air shaft. I guess you get what you pay for, and the Nettuno certainly was reasonably priced. Fortunately there were two fantastic restaurants just up the street (via Tadino) - a pizzaria with amazing deep crust pizzas and a place farther up the street which had both wonderful pasta and meat dishes and was well frequented by the locals. These places to eat more than made up for the disappointments of the room.

Hotel Nettuno was a really good place to stay. The staff were really helpful and nice. The hotel was under reconstruction when we were there so it looked somehow strange. The room was not so big, but enough for us for sleeping and having shower. The location is quite good, it is close to central station so if you arrive by train or the shuttle bus from Bergamo airport, it is ideal. The city center is around 3 km on foot, but you also can take the metro if you are lazy. (a single ticket is 1€) I was absolutely satisfied with the place and the staff, and can recommend it to anyone.

Very basic and small hotel with a very dark lobby and hallways. No breakfast served. Old furniture/beds, but bathroom looked recently remodelled. Sound insulation is poor, but since there are only a few rooms/guests at the hotel, that wasn't a huge problem during our stay. Front desk staff were friendly/helpful and spoke good English. Major shopping/dining area is only a couple of minutes away. Quite a walk to/from the Central Station, so it's better to use public transportation to get to the hotel. This turned out to be one of the better hotels in that price range in Italy, but next time I would pay more to stay at a nicer place.
