The reception staff were very helpful and nice especially Roberta and breakfast was the usual buffet type but waiters made it pleasant. One thing great about this hotel is its location near the Tram system that will take you to all places in the city with 1 Euro available at the reception. Tram 19 will take to famous Dumo in 15 minutes. Also, there are local resurants near Hotel Nasco and big supermarket

I was a little worried when I first booked the hotel on-line because it was so much cheaper than every other hotel in the area. I was pleasantly surprised when we got there and checked in. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. The rooms were fairly large (for Europe), clean and very comfortable. The WIFI worked great and they had a computer in the lobby for those without there own laptops. Every morning they had a very good free breakfast brunch that had something for everyone. In the evening, they did have a bar that served alcohol and wine which was a little expensive but still not outrageous. It was easy to get around the city from this hotel. The trolleys stopped stopped almost in front of the hotel. We were very impressed with everything about this hotel snd would certainly recommend it to anyone staying in Milan.

Not being a world traveller it might just be Italian beds in general but I have slept on softer floors than the three different beds I slept in during our travels through Northern Italy. The hotel employees were very helpful and pleasant. Our room was on the 9th floor but the elevator only went to the 8th floor, not a problem for us but could be for someone with limited mobility.

We loved our stay there very much: clean and quiet room (even though it faced a boulevard with tram line); attentive staff; outstanding breakfast included in price (very big selection, superb service); not far from Duomo (15 min by tram). If it only was closer to the central train station - it's 40-45 min by tram, or expensive taxi ride... Otherwise - bravo, Nasco!

Travelling with my spouse for a short leisure-shopping stay, however rooms given was in the 9th floor with no elevators access and access was via 8th flor through staircase up to room. 1st time stay in Hotel with facilities described in website and photos seen on website. No clear diection on how to getto Hotel and that Hotelwas right next to the public Tram line which lead to city center. It would be a good idea for budget traveller to be aware on how one can get ther evia public transport from Milan airports.

A friendly warm welcome awaits you at Hotel Nasco. The staff were extremely helpful and polite, breakfast was amazing and the rooms were spacious and comfortable. Easy to get to the centre as there is a tram stop just outside the hotel with a choice of two trams every 5 or 10 minutes.

Good choice, the restaurant is not a proper one but useful for a fast dinner. SItuated in a central zone but without underground nearby anyway wekk linked to the city centre by trams. I had the room facing Corso Sempione so it was quite noisy, but anyhow an excellent stay

This was our first time visting Milan and didn't realise how big the city is. The hotel is a fair distance from the city centre but there is adquate trams available just outside the entrance which start early and run quite late. You can buy tickets from reception. Nasco hotel was very clean and had a good choice for breakfast. You can order a cappacino from the waitress. Beware - taxis are very expensive so always ask how much before you get in, we didn't and felt ripped off.

It was the first time i stayed at Hotel Nasco. I liked it very much there. Most of all because of the location of the hotel. The hotel is close to the centre of Milano. I booked twin superior room and it was really good room. Enough space, cleening every day. The service people administration) are very helpful. when i am in milano next time, i'll choose this hotel again for sure.

As others have mentioned - main issue is the noise from the street and the tram. It takes about 15 mins by tram to get into Milano Centre, but that was ok with me. The tram goes past a supermarket too. The Hotel was walking distance to the Castello and Park - about 20mins, on the other side of which is the Metro station. Hotel room was clean, the bathrooom was big, breakfast was excellent - great selection and FRESH fruit salad - none of this canned stuff. Would go back. There are a few restaurants on the street within walking distance of the hotel eg Aquarius which was ok. I found the surroundings around the hotel safe, you can come back fairly late by tram and feel safe as the stop is very close to the hotel.

Nasco is a beautiful hotel. The rooms are large and very comfortable. Check-in was quick and both dinner and breakfast were excellent. It's located fairly far from the city center, however, the tram stops just outside the hotel. For EUR 1 you can take the tram to the city center in about 10 minutes. The tram also stops near the Malpensa Express station so if you're looking for a quick, cheap way to get to and from the airport the hotel is actually conveniently located. A taxi from Centrale to the hotel will cost about EUR 10.

As I had bad experiences with the reliability of venere bookings some days before this visit, I called the hotel if the 2-nights reservation was confirmed. the answer was, only one night was confirmed, upon my request the second night was confirmed too. I shall try to avoid reservations throug venere in future.

I had my wallet stolen when we arrived in Milan [on the metro I was jostled getting on and my pocket picked] and the staff were very helpful in getting my cards canceled as quickly as possible. The trams stop about 50 metres from the hotel and run frequently so access is good to the centre of Milan.

I went to see robbie williams in san seira where we walked back from the stadium after the concert and it did not take that long as i did not have a clue which way to go. i also walked in to the city from there it was a plesent walk through a park and the castle then into the city from the hotel it took about an hour and a half and it was a slow walk and a good look around .it was a nice hotel however went to get a glass of wine from the mini bar as i was getting ready to go out and there was only soft drinks so got ready went downstairs to the bar to find it was a non alcohol bar

We had a very nice stay at the Hotel Nasco. We booked a double, but when we got there we were told no double was available and we were given 2 single rooms at the same price... The bad thing is that on their site they say the hotel is located only 1 km from the san siro stadium, but it's actually located 4.5 km away. The staff is polite and helpful, they gave us information about bus and the city of Milan.

A well located hotel with some building works going on around. The better rooms offered (recently refurbished) are on the front of the building and are most affected by the trams which pass directly in front of the hotel. Still probably the better option.

Pleasent hotel in nice neighbourhood. Room at the front is very noisy due to tram which starts at 5:00 AM. Service was OK except for the check-out. My wife was ill so we arranged to stay to 6:00 PM for the price of half a day stay. When checking out we were forced to pay for a whole day extra.

The front desk was GREAT and were quick to help us with directions and/or to call a cab. Our room was on the 9th floor. Alas, the elevator only goes to the 8th floor. But, again the staff were very accomodating and helped us schlep our bags up the stairs! The room was beautiful with 3 balconies and great views of the city.

THe staff was wonderful. The passenger window of our rental car exploded as we were packing to go the the airport. Glass was everywhere. THe bellman and the desk man came out and with vacuum and cleaned it all up and taped plastic over the window so that we could proceed to the airport. THe woman at the desk when we checked in called the airport for us and gave us great recommendations for supper in the area. Over all a great experience. I will use your services again.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. E. g. we were offered umbrellas, when it rained, before we even asked for it. They gave us city maps and helped us finding points of interest. Breakfast was rich and of good quality. Rooms are very clean and neat. This property has our full recommendation. Location: The Hotel is actually about 5 blocks further north west than indicated in the map. About where the railraod (dotted line) crosses Corso Sempione, between Via Arona and Via L. Alberti. Very handy: Tram stops allmost in front of the Hotel.

Had to to to the fair in Feb. 2004, on business. Nasco-Hotel is just perfect: good price, 10 min. on foot to the fair (!), about 12 EUR with taxi from central railw. st. to hotel, nice staff, very comfortable rooms. Breakfast is quite good, although I think they should put some more "power" into their continental-style coffee. Resumee: this is the perfect place to book for business/fair. I hope they keep this high level and that they do not push up prices. I have already given recommendation to my business friends. In 2005, we (big group) might all book there.

My wife and I found the Nasco exceptionally good value for money. The room was very good, comfortable and clean. The staff were all very friendly and helpful and particularly Pietro who could not do enough for us and helped make our visit a memorable one. The only critisism we would make is that it would be nice if there was a restaurant service available in the hotel for lunch and dinner. Especially so when we were there because it never stopped raining and we had to leave the hotel to eat and got very wet each time we ventured outside. However we would not hesitate to book with the Nasco again if we were to visit Milan again. Thank you for a pleasant stay. John & Joan Best
