it was a nightmare in a morning, after night out we wanted to relax , have a long sleep in however, we were woken up by housekeepers moving furniture around the space. floor is tiled so the sound was like an airplain over our heads!!!! breakfast is veery veery poor!!!!!!!!!!! the colour of the walls in a room was terrible, dirty green, so depressing and sad, felt like a nice clean prison. the hole atmosphere in a hotel very sad , depressing, boring,

Not in the most glamourous part of Milan, but suited my trip perfectly. Not many places to eat nearby, except a Chinese restaraunt, which was very good! Also, discount clothes store opposite the hotel. Close to the underground station & taxis.

It was nice that it was so close to the metro station, although there was not a lot to do within walking distance of the hotel. Friendly and helpful staff made for a pleasant stay. It is also very nice that whatever time you get there you can check in and leave your bags, if the rooms are ready. That doesn't happen in the US. Thanks for a nice stay!

Era la prima volta al Mistral, l'esperienza generale discreta anche se l'ubicazione e' triste. E' impossibile prenotare una camera matrimoniale anziche' doppia.

Appropriate to the price paid for Milano. Area not excellent but very quiet (on week end at least) and Metro station very close.

The location is awfull, very industrial and ugly. Subway is about 10 minute walking and brings you to the city center in less than 15 minutes. The hotel offered clean rooms and all the standarts. Breakfast was poor. We got a room facing the back, so it was very quiet. But I believe the rooms facing the front street are very noisy, since there is heavy traffic all day.

it's a little hotel, in an periferic area, easily to find, near metro and the centre of the city

The hotel is of average quality, the price vs quality is a bit high. The actual price was 5 euros higher than that quoted at the web page. My stay in the hotel was spoiled by an incident: My son who studies in Milan came to visit me but was not allowed to come up to my room. The receptionist referred to some rules, but could not show them to me. Next morning I had a discussion with senior stuff members. Once again they quoted some rules but could not show them to me. I consider this a serious violation of the customer's rights and am going to file an official complaint.

Not far away from metro but, in that area, the street names are not realy shown. However this is not the responsability of the hotel. - Air conditioned, clean rooms but you can virtualy hear what neighbours are talking. Otherwise is ok!

Not the best area of Milan, but the hotel is clean and very closed from the metro (2 mins walk) so that was the essential for me. It is closed from the motorway as well, and a car parck is available (10 euros per night). I parked my car on street just in front of the hotel and had not any problems. The negative point is the noise. My wife and I had a room on the street side, and it was extremely noisy ! Ask for a room on the back side if you are about to book at Hotel Mistral. The groom was not very welcoming so we were a bit surpised, but it appears to be a thing common to italian grooms... Very positive price/quality relationship. Breakfast is correct as well. Nice stay. I recommend.

The Hotel Stuff were not welcoming at all, the pics on the website gave us a wrong impression of the Hotel. Too far from the center and the Breackfast useless. You cannot even think about having a regular Capuccino, at one point you forget that your in Italy.

---very close to the Rogoredo Metro stop--line takes you to the Duomo stop and Centrale Station where you can take the intercity trains. The Rogoredo Stop is also next to the Rogoredo train stop (intercity trains) ---staff is friendly and helpful ---breakfast was included--delicious coffee, croissants, juice, biscotti biscuits with nutella and jam available ---all in all it was a comfortable stay ---wouldn't mind staying here again

This hotel to our surprise was in a very poor neighborhood where a tourist should never be found. It was a good 10 minute walk to the train station, through an extremely low maintained neighborhood. The room was extremely small with practically no place for your luggage. The double occupancy was fit for a single person. The windows lead to a busy street that never settled at night. The decoration in the room was not fit for a family oriented tourist, with it's large mirrors at the front wall of the bed & nude woman in a premiscuous position posted on top of the bed. This is absolutely the worst accommodations I have ever experienced in my entire stay in Europe. Not recommend to anyone.

First impression and external aspect was very poor. Internal layout and quality was very poor for a *** hotel. Location was very good as it is near the Motorway and Airport and a Metro station. But a workers strike on the Metro did not help. Breakfast was in tiny dingy room and quality was very poor even compared to some ** hotels. The noise of traffic out front was apalling.

The Mistral is a nice little hotel, but in an industrial area of the city. It is a couple of blocks from a metro station, which is almost the last stop out of town. The quad room had four twin beds, and not much room to move around. The hotel staff was helpful.

Close to metro line..the surrounding areas are quite undesireable..my daughter and I did not feel comfortable going out alone at night..the breakfast was OK..the staff spoke English but were not overly friendly but provided adequate information if asked..the rooms were very clean small but adequate for a short stay..in comparison to other hotels we stayed at during our Europe vacation I would rate this as just average...met the needs but nothing spectacular.

Room was clean and tidy but the night traffic outside was quite loud. Location of hotel was remote and we had a hard time finding anywhere to eat or to go and have a beverage. Hotel staff were not overly friendly or helpful. If your just looking for a place to spleep for the night-it serves the purpose.

Exspecting a quality of a *** Hotel we found almost a * to ** Hotel. I think you must not exspect too much, but we had also a ** Hotel in Milan, which was cheaper, cleaner, less noisy and which had a big parking area. The Mistral also had a "parking area" somewhere in the backyard (rather expensive) where I would not let my new car once more because it was too narrow. Although the metro-station was only 3 Minutes (walking distance) away, my girlfriend and I would prefere the last hotel we had (the Ornato).

The "Mistral" offers a good relationship between quality and price. The staff was very friendly. The rooms are ok but it is very noisy due to street directly in front of the hotel. The hotel is easy to find and it is only 500 meters away from the subway station. So it is very easy to come into the city. I think it is difficult to find another hotel in Milano offering this quality for the same price. I would recommend it to friends.

Staff very nice and cordial. Hotel was very clean and their was a nice restaurant a short walk away which we discovered when we asked for one to be recommended. The underground also a short walk and as advertised on site. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend. Taxi cost from airport to hotel should be €15 as we discovered too late from the nice lady at reception and not the €30 that we were charged.

We have had again a very nice stay at the Mistral Hotel. The people are very friendly and service minded. The only point of attention is the noice level: flushing the toilet is heard everywhere, people nextdoor can be heard literally and last but not least the environment of the hotel is very noisy. There is a very nice restaurant in the neighbourhood (La Plancia) and the travel into the center of Milano is very easy.

Our impression was very much influnced by the 'almost' non existent sound proofing in the room - the road noise was intolerable on our arrival - our request for a room at the rear of the hotel was denied.

The hotel offered nice standard at an affordable price compared to more central locations. Moreso, the more expensive central locations were not even available. The hotel is a short walk from next to last stop south on subway Line 1 as described. Only 6-7 minutes on train from central part of city. I thought it was a good choice. Overall nice stay and quality.

Location stated only a few mins away from Milan centre..This turns out to be a costly taxi fare of £25 one way which takes 25mins or underground which takes 10-15 mins. The underground closes at 12.15am! I booked this rather cheap hotel as I was on a budget it turned out to be more costly than anything, unless of course I was on a curfew to be in by 12.30pm each night.. I was given false information on your website, it was not a true subscription at all! Also my stay covered New Year. On New Year's Eve at approx 5.30pm I went down to the hotel reception to get some money out of the safe only to find out one of the hotel staff had taken the safe key home! I was told that he was having dinner with his family and to return would take a journey of 45mins, plus anyway the hotel safe closes at 5pm. There was no notices around that this safe was out of bounds after 5pm, there was however alot of notices saying not to use an iron or have little kitchen in room!!! (strange).. The particular staff member in deed did return thinking he's done us all a big favour and should be so grateful! In deed if i could speak Italian I would explain how not grateful we were! Never have I ever gone anywhere quite like it, is the hotel staff so untrust worthy they can't let each other handle the safe key! I wonder... Last but not least the lounge had a no smoking sign and one member of reception was smoking! The rooms were nosiy due to out side traffic! The lifts dangerous The decoration dated and paint was coming away from around the windows in our room The Shower cubicle was a joke, as when you slide the doors to to have a shower they come away.. No I don't think I'll be making another visit nor recommending anyone else too Thank you but no thanks Michelle

Overall quite pleasant, and would recommend it. The only problem was noise, as it is on a busy road. Not too many eat/drink places locally, probably better to head/stay in the centre for these. Transport to/from centre, take the underground to Rogoreda, its quick and runs quite late.

The hotel is north eastern outskirts of Milan. The metro is close and convenient. There is nothing much to do or see in the hotel. Is good for the price in expensive Milan.

We enjoyed our stay very much. I will sure return with my wife for a shopping weekend. The staff is very friendly and kind. They all speak english very well. The recommended restaurant in the area was excellent: much more better then the one down town we choose for our selves (both quality and price). It was a great stay and worthwhile to be repeated.

This was our first taste of Italian accommodation and we found it a pleasurable one. The staff were excellent and very helpful at all times. They were quite happy to converse with us whenever we were in the building. We arrived on the Metro and it took us a little time to find the hotel - a very obliging man brought us to where it was. Perhaps the hotel should give directions on how to get there from the Metro station - which exit etc.
