This hotel was just right for our needs. We flew into Milan at the start of our first Italian vacation for just one night. Marconi is close to the central train station, and from there is just a short metro ride to the major sights. We found a lovely restaurant down the street and there is a supermarket across the street (although we did not go in). Breakfast here was very good as well. The room was the largest one we had in our 3 week trip.

Found prices a little high (especially around Whit Monday), otherwise this hotel has a good situation close to Repubblica station, clean rooms, breakfast buffet and friendly service.

By car
From Switzerland and Turin: take tangenziale est toward Venice, exit at viale Zara and follow directions for centro/stazione Centrale.
From Venice: take tangenziale est toward Malpensa, exit at viale Zara and follow the indications for centro/stazione Centrale.
From Bologna: take tangenziale est toward Venice, exit at Lambrate and follow directions for centro/stazione Centrale.
From the Central railway station (piazza Duca d'Aosta) take via Vitruvio for 50 meters, then make a left on via Fabio Fizi. Drive for about 500 meters to street number 3.

By train
The Central railway station is 650 meters from the hotel. Take bus 33 from piazza Duca d'Aosta (in front of the station) for 2 stops and get off at the S. Gioachino/Liberazione stop.

By airplane
From Milano-Malpensa airport: a bus service leaves every 20 minutes for the Central station, located at 650 meters from the hotel. Take bus 33 from piazza Duca d'Aosta (in front of the station) for 2 stops and get off at the S. Gioachino/Liberazione stop. A taxi ride is about 45 minutes.
