Hotel was in a great area, near to the metro line. Room was ok, bathroom was very small, toilet was in an akward position. The staff were not that friendly, and there was a different person working everytime I went to reception. Breakfast was ok, took a while to get a cup of coffee. Overall for the money it was fine, for one night.

It was first time I'd stay at Hotel Lugano. I was in single room. Room was very small and uncomfortable, room for breakfast was also very small.

Overall comment: good price/quality ratio. The service was correct: definitely not for a 3-stars hotel, but OK for the price I've payed. This hotel is OK for one night in Milano: very close to a metro stop; however, not so close to the historical center, nor to the railway station. The room was OK: not very clean, but not a total disaster either... :). The breakfast wasn't fabulous, but correct.

Asked for a matrimonial bed and one single, when we get there there were 3 single bed in a corridor sized room that we couldn't match the beds. The bathroom smells and the thin of the shower was obstructed. There's no facilities for babies.

Excellent rating price/quality but the only real problem is the breakfast which is so 'poor' ! Staff is very nice and competent.

We stayed at the Hotel Lugano for three nights and were quite disappointed. While this hotel is supposed to be 3-star, it is very run down and, considering the facilities and state of the place, is really only a 2-star at best. Our room was very noisy - you could hear the TVs in the other rooms and the toilets flushing. The plumbing was also very noisy. Our shower was broken and there was a lot of black mould growing in the cubicle. The room was quite small and the air conditioning unit was broken and held on the wall with tape. Breakfast was very poor - just a croissant and coffee. On the plus side, the area was fine and the staff were friendly. Overall I wouldn't recommend the hotel as it was too expensive for what you got and was not a place to have a holiday.

It was our first visit to Milano. Hotel has an excellent location, next to subway, bus, railway station. Penny market is also next to the hotel for urgent shoppings.Good staff, very good treatment of the hotel guests.

Convenient and inexpensive hotel, well located near Milano's main tourist attractions and subway station. The hotel is also 10 minutes by car from the main train station, in a quiet residential neighborhood. We stayed in a triple room, and we found it appropriate for staying one night and spending most of the time sightseeing in Milano.

The Hotel did not have Towels at all, they had some cloth napkins in the bathroom. I requested for towels and I was told "No, No, No". The room stank of bodily sweat and had a stale smell, not being aired since the last visitor. The hotel was quiet, but the airconditioner was a bit noisy. The restaurant staff were very helpful in the morning and the continental breakfast was standard.

Da evitare in estate, condizionatore molto rumoroso applicato alla finestra quindi inutilizzabile la notte se non lasciando le persiane alzate.

My wife and I had a pleasant stay (6 days) at the Lugano hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful. We had a room towards the yard and it were very quiet. Around the corner the metro, the buslines and the tramlines are ready to take you where ever you want to go in the beautiful city. It is not the last time we would stay at the Lugano hotel.

I sellect the hotel as it was said 3 stars hotel. But I think it is 2 stars. If Lugano is average the hotel fee is too much expensive in Milano.

Good hotel since you have to join facilities in the surroundings (like me, I attended to a training session). The price is quite low for Milan. A little more than a continental breakfast, but not a real buffet. Otherwise (if you don't want desert streets after sunset) go near the middle of the city (but the prices are high).
