The room was a bit tiny, but comfortable. The place is quiet and close to subway lines and Milan city fair. Thus, it is especially recommended for those travelling for business reasons and looking for a good relationship between price and quality. Breakfast (continental one, obviously) was unusually good for such a cheap hotel.

Up a side street that was quiet (great) Only a few minutes walk from 2 very nice eating establishments with good service and food. Sub way only 5 minutes casual walk and only 3 Euro for a day ticket (brilliant value) or 1 euro for a single trip. The sub way gets you to the main centre in minutes and you dont need to put ear plugs in as it is not as manic as the town centre. I would be happy to return. Nice staff who do their work well but there are some tourist that may expect a personal servant which is asking too much-(You Know who I am speaking about) Clean towels daily bed always made up and Italian Tv was entertaining even without the ability to understand Italian (the hand movements tell the story).

The staff was extremely kind ( that was the best point). The room was clean but unfortunately not well sound isolated so it was impossible not to be disturb by noisy room's nighbors. Really near the lotto metro station ( but the hotel is located in a small and dark street). There was no wi-fi in the room. The breakfast buffet is not the best.

The hotel is quite far from central Milan, but was really close to the underground so easily reachable. Air con didnt work, pretty noisy to have window open at night. One of the nights the fire alarm went off about 4 times, for afew seconds each times, we had to be up very early the next morning to get to the airport and when we asked about it there was no explanation or apology. We paid for breakfast but they don't restock the table so unless you are up very early you just get the crumbs that are left!

One of our nicest hotels. There was a place for three large bags and room to walk. The desk clerk was great! We needed to buy another bag and he worked to find a place for us to go and was very helpful about the Metro. The only downside was that the room was a little warm and stuffy and with the window open you could hear a dog barking all night long. The only other downfall were the several steps down to the front desk before you got to the elevator. It was rough with suitcases and a handicapped person would not be able to handle them. When we left the desk clerk helped carry our biggest bag, which was great.

This was our first time in Milan. Once we arrived we were "greeted" in a very unwelcoming manner. The satellite dish was down, the TV had a few channels working, and the wifi service was non-existent. The breakfast was horrid and the breakfast area had six small tables. Moreover, once a person finished eating the table was never cleared. There was only one young gentleman that was helpful. The rest of the staff either lounged on the sofa watching television or stood outside smoking. In addition, our room was not cleaned on a certain day as we were told that the staff left for the day. We were not surprised to see the cleaning staff a few minutes later (near the stairs) lounging and giggling. Overall, we would have had a pleasant stay if the service was at least satisfactory. Then we would not be picky about a lack of wifi service or TV channels.

The staff were very accomodating and the rooms were good value for money but I didn't like the towels which were just like thin cotton napkins, the mini bar was empty and the room safe was broken. It wouldn't stop me visiting again but they could score more highly if these things had been rectified.

Our departure day was also that of a transport strike which meant no public trains or buses so that reaching the airport would have been both difficult and expensive. Lido was unaware of an airport shuttle stop no far away, We found this by luck. Staff were very grateful for our telling them. Stay was as stated. Breakfast splendid. Fabio & others on reception very efficient & helpful in so many ways. Cared for our comfort.

The Lido is just off a busy rather sketchy street around Pizzale Lotto, but is very close to the subway, which will take you almost anywhere in Milan. The area on the other side of Pizzale Lotto is lovely - a real "neighbourhood". The hotel was okay, and the room was comfortable and adequate. The staff was helpful, and referred us to a local restaurant where we had one of the best meals of our trip. It was important to get to breakfast early, as there was little or no replenishment if you were late. Overall, it was reasonably good value for the money.

The hotel is not in the city centre, but the metro is close by so this is not a big problem. The breakfast was amazing compared to other hotels in this price range (which means that it is not to shabby but still worse than anything you would make yourself, except for the chocolate filled croissants :-) The staff was friendly and helpful. The only drawback was that the PC (free for 30 min/day) had facebook blocked by a net nanny program ;-)

This has to be one of the best value hotels in Milan. It's not the most sumptuous, but it is significantly cheaper than most other hotels. The staff are very friendly and always willing to help. The rooms are adequate, if a little smaller than expected, but at this price they are more than adequate. The rooms are very clean and well serviced, but the standard of decor and the state of repair is a little dated... again though, very reasonable at the price. Finally, the location is very convenient, just 2 or 3 minutes walk from the Lotto metro station (about 10-15 minutes from the centre of Mlian) and a pleasant 20 minute walk from the Stadio Guiseppe Meazza (San Siro), so absolutely perfect if you wish to watch AC Milan or Inter Milan.
