Reception staff friendly and helpful. Good location with train station within 5 minute walk. Restaurant and cafe are within walking distance. Buffet breakfast is marvelous and value for money. Would recommend this hotel to friends and will surely visit this hotel the next time we are in Italy.

The room was clean but bathroom very small. Was air conditioned and had minibar but room decor was very basic. The bed was comfortable and tv available however with no channels beside Italian TV!. Not much activity in the local area - restaurants were hard to find. Although 4 stops from vibrant Central station area considerably less resources available in this region

I booked in advance and choose an offer. consider it as an excellent choice (70 euro double room with private WC, night of friday) This hotel has been renewed with and strange style, but it is clean, very weel located (very near all means of transport that take toy to city center in 10 minutes), very good breakfast buffet. Only bad point: TV channels : We couldn watch the 'normal' channels nor satellite. All was TV shopping. The shower was not very big.

This was our first night in Italy after a long day of travel. We ate in the little pizza stand around the corner - it was a bit crowded with local teenagers so the area seemed a little sketchy, but as it got later, the crowds thinned out and the street got pretty quiet - we were on the 2nd floor and it wasn't too loud to sleep, you could occasionally hear the squeak of train breaks because it's right by the train station (there is a lot of construction as of April 2010) but the rest of our group were on 4th and 5th floors and said it was very quiet. The room was typical European size, but the help was friendly, breakfast was great, we would definitely stay here again, especially for the price.

This hotel is clean, with English speaking staff and a reasonable breakfast. I got my single room for less than 40 Euro a night via Venere.com and the location was convenient. I thought the value was very good but this is for the experienced traveler without high expectations. For that price I got a clean room with a window that opened and the bed was comfortable enough for me, a six foot tall big Canadian. During the day there was a lot of sound from the nearby train station but that quieted down to nothing during the night. There are a few restaurants nearby but I ate at 11:30 pm at the little local stand up focaccia pizza joint that was very popular with the locals just around the corner. It was delicious. The staff was very friendly and spoke English. The one large difference, and this is important for some, is that there is no internet access in most of the rooms but you'll need to come down to the lobby to get the wireless internet. For the price, if I were a single traveler or a backpacker, I'd definitely stay there again. Go out and wander down the streets. It's more of a neighborhood place without the tourists and very comfortable.

Good correspondence between price/quality. The only thing the management should think about is the better organisation of a breakfast. 4 times of 5 there were some minor problems, like the absense of free seats, or plates, or milk, or spoons, or hot water. Also the bar in the room didnt have the prices for beverages(or were they free of charge?) and glasses.

Room was clean and freshly repainted, rather small but this is normal in large cities. Excellent price/quality ratio.

Good location, close to both metro and rail. Parking is a big problem !! but there is a public parking (covered) that cost us 21.6 euro per day.

Hotel suited my needs very well. Staff were helpful and spoke excellent English (and complemented me on my Italian!). Wide selection of food at breakfast also. The room was clean and spacious and as it was on the top floor it had a small terraced area outside to sit and enjoy a few glasses of wine in the evening. The only minor complaints are that the room appeared to have only one power point for the TV (so this had to be unplugged to charge my phone) and the hotel was a bit far from the centre so there wasn't any decent restaurants nearby.

We were there just one Saturday night between flights. It happened to be in a period when most of the hotels in Milano were solidly booked because of trade fairs. The stay was fine but the price was probably influenced by the time period and the fact that we booked only a week before departure, but this was probably true for all the other hotels.

We found this to be an excellent hotel in a very good location - it was very close to Lambrate railway station, which was good for days out, and also to the Metro station for days in Milan. It was also well situated for the shuttle coaches to and from the airport, being approximately 100 metres from the hotel where the coach dropped us and picked us up. Although the railway station was quite noisy, the air conditioning in the hotel rooms enabled us to shut the shutters and windows at night, thus eliminating the problem. Altogether a very good choice of hotel, with excellent breakfasts, and I hope to stay there again in the future.
