Hotel D'Este - Milan

A good 4 stars hotel in the average, clean, renewed, but nothing is beyond what expected for the cathegory. Good relationship price/quality because I payed 109 euro including breakfast and the location is quite in the center (Porta Romana). It is a bit far from the underground station. Wake up call by knocking at the door! so remember to ask a wake up phone call...

Just excellent choise if you look for a hotel nearest to the city center! This was our second time at D'Este. As previously nothing changed. Spasious room, prety quiet and with extra services for a 4 star hotel (extra black role-top kind of curtain which keeps the room dark enough for who has problems to sleep. As us!)Normal breakfast like..the essentials. Try their latte macchiato. Close to tram stop (2 min walk), tooks 5-7 min to reach Duomo. Parked to the nearest parking station (not this they proposed....), as it's quite immpossible to find parking in Milan! This time the price was better 110 €/night. Dont call direct to them! It is possible they won't give you less than 190 for a double! Hotel perfetto per chi cerca per un posto non tanto caro vicino al centro. Per la seconda volta tutto era ancora perfetto. Camere spaziose è tranquilissime. Pulite è enche con servizzi più di un hotel 4 stelle (extra oscurante sulle finestre per chi ha problemi di dormire...)Prima colazzione normale, latte macchiato ottimo! Vicinissimo al tram - 2 min a piedi (piaza Duomo in 5-7 min). Parkeggio vicinissimo (non scegliete quello che vi propongono...) siccome difficile trovare parkeggio a Milano! Sta volta il prezzo era migliore 110€/notte. Non chiamate direttamente a loro, non danno meno di 190/notte per doppia matrimoniale.

Almost nothing to criticize. Surroundings are noisy; car parking is hard to find and not cheap. For a full day the affiliated guarded parking is higly preferable: it is just next door. Anyway, the position of the hotel is quite strategical: it is easily accessible, especially from South, but the downtown area is one easy walk away. The property showed kindness and flexibility when we decided to check out one day in advance. Everything worked well, except for a rather faulty TV set (room 201: the property was alerted to fix it).

Decoration slightly out of date, otherwise impeccable.

Very clean staff very freindly breakfast very good very good location for Bocconi university private parking next to the hotel + can park in front of the hotel on sat/sunday good small restaurants walking distance room size ok (not US size, but above average for italy)

Hotel d'Este is an excellent solution in a good area of Milan. I appreciated the services offered, the cleanliness and the quiet of my room. Wireless internet is free for the guests. Receptionists were kind. I'll come back again in this hotel. Highly recommended!

Ideal for business and leisure

I recommend "Amici miei" for an excellent and unexpensive meal. Just in front of the Hotel.

L'accoglienza ricevuta non è stata calorosissima, operatori piuttosto scortesi e sempre pronti a sottolineare che avevo prenotato la camera grazie all'offerta di venere.com, come se fossi un ospite di serie B. A questo punto, perché accettano di essere presenti sul sito se non gli piace la tipologia degli utenti di venere.com?

Consigliato per un viaggio di lavoro. Confortevole.

Il servizio è buono, le stanze sono confortevoli ma non eccellenti.Non sono insonorizzate per niente.... un pò piccole anche...cmq tutto sommato è un buon hotel dove stare un weekend.

I was at Hotel D'Este for a business stay and I found very comfortable and with a great value. In the surrounding areas there are many restaurants and it is very close to Duomo square and just 10 minutes walking from the tube.

Buon rapporto qualità prezzo. Isolamento acustico alto. Colazione ricca. Stanze di dimensioni nella norma. Accorgimenti hitech con sensori che accendono le luci al passaggio nei corridoi o voce guida in ascensore. Dintorni lontani un po' dalla metro. Poche attrazioni turistiche nei paraggi, c'è da camminare un po' ma nel complesso il prezzo è conveniente.

Comodo raggiungere l'hotel dalla Stazione Centrale FS (tram 9). Camera dal look un po' anni '90 ma pulita e in ottimo stato.

Bella la location (vicino all'Università Bocconi, ai Navigli e alla MM3 Porta Romana) ma personale un pò freddo e diffidente.

Troppo caro. La mia camera era piccola e con il bagno vecchio. In più mi hanno fatto pagare 5 euro aggiuntivi per aver ordinato un uovo a colazione!

Nice hotel, quiet and clean. We had reserved a non smoker room but from the smell it seemed it had been, at least formerly, a smoker room.

It is a very good hotel, where the quality of the provided service remind of old times... Gentle people, cleanless of the rooms.
