Basic hotel and simple breakfast, but very clean, nice bed and great hosts. Short walk (5-10min) from the central train station. Take the Malpensa airport Shuttle to central station (6euro) for a very cheap but still relatively quick way to get to the hotel. Decent neighborhood, shopping strip 1 block away, nice park across the road, very close to subway (3 stops to the Duomo and centre, or 25-30min stroll if you prefer). We were in Milan during a conference, so this was the only place available unless we wanted to pay through the nose (Milan is expensive anyway). However, we thoroughly enjoyed the stay.

Perfect base for a city break. Fairly basic but clean. Very friendly staff and good value for money. Nice breakfast. Good location for getting around Milan. Nice restuarants and cafes nearby. Close to the shops and centre. Very easy to find from the maps provided.

The room was quite small. I lived in the third floor that I found meself cannot stand up as the roof the the room was too low. In the description, it showed that all the rooms ensuit with private bathroom but I found that my room wasn't equipped any private bathroom. It was only a shared bathroom. The price was too high and the facilities was too poor. It don't cost a 1500HKD one night. I am so disppointed with this hotel.

Very nice surroundings, easy to reach metro and central shopping street 200 meters from hotel. Easy to reach train station on foot - 500 meters. Great, cheerful, extremely helping staff. Very nice, clean rooms. Shouldn't be that expensive though, but that's the general situation with hotel prices in Italy.

The price did not correspond to the quality of the service provided. We paid a low category hotel much more than one of a higher level. Breakfast was very poor (but it is quoted 6 euro); it should be included but, as there is not a breakfast room,if you do not ask for it, the employee does not worry to ask if you like to have breakfast. But, when you have to pay, he seems to forget how many times you did not have breakfast! One of the employees is very impolite. We had to ask to get clean towels and only some of them were changed. I could go on but I prefer to stop. This time I really made a big mistake booking through Venere.

The owners are friendly and helpful. Just a bit annoying that even though the hotel is supposed to accept credit cards, we were told the machine couldn't accept our card due to "security code" issue. Strange as we didn't have problems with our credit card throughout Milan anywhere. However, they did recommend a good restaurant to us and were very courteous. Overall, we enjoyed our stay there.

Excellent location, very central and well served by public transport. Rooms on the first floor have the air conditioning units lodged right outside the balcony so beware in summer if you are a ligth sleeper. Staff was very polite and welcoming. Would definitely stay there again.

Location quiet, overlooking nice inner garden, insulation between rooms poor. Room has been carefully renovated. Generally clean. Managed by a friendly couple wich child. Friendly, helpful and welcoming. Price adequate.

2 gravi appunti: - le camere sono dotate di aria condizionata, ma per usufruirne occorre pagare un'addizionale di € 6,00 (non specificato nelle condizioni); - se si prenotano più di una notte, dopo la prima, l'hotel richiede il saldo di tutto il soggiorno. Sarà a causa della clientela "selezionata" che frequenta la struttura?

This was a wonderful place to stay in Milan & the price is very reasonable for the location and the cleanliness and the good service. We are a couple with a 9-yr-old and the double room was good enough for our needs.If you have lots of luggage, ask for a second-floor room as there's no lift; but,no matter, the staff will heave your stuff up the steps if needed. Plus it's a 5-minute walk to major shopping (Corso Buenos Aires), Metro lines to the Duomo & a 10-minute walk to the Central train station. We would stay here again and again whenever we're in Milan. The hosts were very pleasant and extremely helpful. Breakfast included too. Good value for money! A great deal for travelers like us!

clean and spacious room and bathroom. very noisy (from street and reception area). no english speaking tv channels. warn the front desk in advance if you need to check out early - we needed to leave at 7am but there was no one at the front desk at that time.
