Hotel Des Etrangers - Milan

First stay at this hotel while leisure travelling.

Terrible breakfast

Hotel as described in the site. It's true the rooms are not very quiet. Sounds from other rooms can be heard throughout the day: water running from other bathrooms, phones ringing etc. Also not particularly spacious rooms. Overall very nice for business trips or for travellers who do not plan to spend much time in the hotel room.

Some bathroom needs a renew - brekfast good but service too slow

The hotel is very far from city center and main attractions. To get to the nearest Metro station, St. Ambrogio, you need to take bus No. 50. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. Two of the three receptionists I talked to were antipathic. The third person was nice. Overall, this hotel offers very good value for money.

Excellent hotel overall, close to the tram that gives you easy access to all the major tourist destinations. the staff were friendly and were able to speak good english. the room and bathroom were spacious and clean. i would come back here again.

Rooms are OK, confortable, provided by very good internet ADSL connection. Just a little too small. Employess are very kind and helpfull. Breakfast was hopeless, very very poor. Anyway I think I will come back.

Accueil : gentillesse et efficacité du personnel. Chambre : calme et confortable, jolie décoration. Un plus pour l'équipement, la salle d'eau est parfaite et la litterie en excellent état. Propreté impeccable. En conclusion : Séjour très agréable. Très bon rapport qualité prix.

Abbiamo trascoso solo una notte all'hotel Des Etrangers, ma prima di prenotare avevamo visitato molti altri siti. Il rapporto qualità-prezzo dell'hotel è veramente apprezzabile (nel panorama milanese e nazionale delle grandi città). La camera, come da noi richiesto, è stata silenziosissima. Abbiamo notato l'uso della stoffa alle pareti e nei corridoi (per insonorizzazione?)Anche la colazione è stata soddisfacente perchè abbiamo trovato frutta fresca e varie scelte di dolci e biscotti di qualità medio-alta. Personale molto gentile.Visto che dovremo ritornare a Milano per motivi di famiglia, questo hotel sarà per noi un punto di riferimento.

Ottimo rapporto qualità/prezzo, ben collegato al centro città, molto scarsa e mal servita la colazione.comunque buono per gli scopi prefissi

It's a nice hotel next to a very good shopping area. There isn't a restourant inside the building, but there are a lot of them close to its.

NONOSTANTE SIA UN PO' DECENTRATO E NON SEMPLICISSIMO DA TROVARE,è PROPRIO CARINO,LA CAMERA ERA PROPRIO BELLA,MODERNA,LETTO COMODISSIMO IL BAGNO FANTASTICO CON UNA DOCCIA DEL GETTO VERAMENTE RILASSANTE. L'INICO NEO è LA COLAZIONE A BUFFET UN PO' SCARNA:DOVREBBE ESSERE UN PO' PIù VARIA E FORNITA.

It was a three star but felt like four. Beautiful hotel, great server. They provided me with shaving cream even, since I had forgotten it! Short walk to the 14 Tram which goes to Via Torino and Il Duomo - centro. Slightly difficult to find when first arriving in Milan. Rooms were clean and FULLY equipped. Walls were a little too thin, as you could here everything next door. Overall, excellent stay and I will be going there in the future.

When staying in Milan for business, this hotel offers good accomodation and a relatively fair price. The staff is competent and forthcoming. The rooms offer all you need, nothing more, but certainly nothing less.

Only a mistake, the hotel is not near 0,800 km. from the fiera milano......
