Good price-quality level, close to the station, clean, flexible staff -> perfect for a short term stay. Only for breakfast the room was a little bit crowded so that some people were queuing and we sat with another couple at the table, but at the end: you are on holidays, so what?

5 min. from the station on foot. I've stayed here many times before. The hotel is a bit old now, but the rooms are ok. I paid 52 Euros for a single (no breakfast included) This is a good price for Milan. But as usual, prices can reach the sky when there are fairs in the city. I always check Venere.com when I want to go to Milan. And you'd be surprised to see that it's not always the same hotels which are the cheapest.

There were problems with hot water and the hotel did not offer a solution. The bathroom had not been cleaned when we checked in and nothing happened when we told the receptionist. Internet was extremely expensive and no channels in English at all. The competence of the employees left quite to be desired. A fully non-advisable place to stay if one is looking for quality.

With poor noisy rooms and old furnitures in a bad-looking style, this hotel got a six as comparing with the good rates it is a reasonable place especially for business travellers. PAY ATTENTION AT THE MINIBAR PRICE LIST IN THE ROOM AS IT IS NOT UPDATED!

Everything said in the reviews is true. Someone was taking things from the bar fridge when we were out. Complained to the receptionist Rosa on the first and second days but on the 3rd day we were charged for items that we did not take. Massimo at reception even had the cheek to offer to pay for the items. even charged us for hot water on the 3rd day although it was free on day 1 and 2. overall staff are not polite nor customer oriented. Haven't seen such rude staff anywhere. Not returning even if it is the last available hotel in Milan.

Really central position, 5 minutes far walking from Milano Central Station and the tube, that was my priority because I had to leave the hotel during the night to go to the airport by bus. The bedroom was big and clean, and the bathroom too. Good relation between price/quality!

The hotel was in the correct location and rooms were clean, and comfortable. Problems at check-out. I was charged for waters I never drank, and overheard another person complaining about the same thing.

At the reception they are just wonderful people. But the maids are terrible. Someone wore my night cream once, leaving it dirty, and when I complained, they made a "little revenge" and said I consumed from the mini-bar, wich was a total lie! They make a lot of noise during the morning, until 8:30 at least, speaking loud, grabing their things for cleaning and talking loudly on the cell phone ALL THE TIME. You just can't sleep and have to get out from the room at 8h30 or else you go crazy. It was a very nice hotel to stay considering the surroundings, close to markets, stores, metro and central station, but the maids made my staying a hell. The sheets had holes and the towels had hair that wasn't mine for about 3 times. I stayed for about 10 days before I went to Genova and a couple more after a week and I came back for 2 razons: I could not find another room anywhere else in that area as cheap as that and because the receptionists. As I said, they are GREAT!

The Hotel looks quite well in the Hall. But staffs are quite unwelcome. The room has air condition. But it is not only noisy but it could not make the room cool. we felt hot and at last we decide to open the window. The furniture are too old so it need to be changed. Shower performance need to be repaired. Surrounding is very bad, we found that a man follow us about two blocks until we get in the hotel. We found many women stand by hotels who may provide sex service. The price is low, but remember do not dial any telephone. we make a 15 minutes call to Milan cell phone(the Hotel is in Milan), but it cost me 30 Euro. The staff confirm the Milan 15 minutes call but still insist that we should pay according to the bill. Never the less, my credit card could use all over Italy except in this hotel. It is the worst hotel we stay in Italy, I will never back to this hotel if I go to Milan again.

The location of the hotel is excellent, being within walking distance of the station and the centre. There is a sign indicating that the hotel is being upgraded (bathrooms certainly need it) but little sign of it happening. The breakfast is AWFUL - the milk curdled in the tea, the coffee was undrinkable and the butter rancid. There was an abundance of cheap biscuits, cheap brioche, stale bread and cheap jam, along with plastic slices of cheese and ham. They would be better offering some good, fresh bread and decent jam and butter, along with good coffee / tea and leaving it at that. Quality is much better than quantity. We didn't eat or drink and went straight up the road to a bar for breakfast.

The room was spacious -- a double sold as single. Breakfast was a disappointment, they kept running out of the few items there were. This hotel is very well placed for both the centre of the city and the Central Railway Station. The staff are very pleasant and the breakfasts are good. On the negative side, the room facing the road was very noisy indeed, as building work was going on opposite the hotel and commenced very early in the morning. The heating/air conditioning unit in one of our rooms did not function properly and the room was really cold. Both our rooms were, however, very clean, although not too spacious.

The room was clean and quiet, the bed firm and confortable. However during the night sometimes we would wake up because of lot of noise produced in the corridor by groups of late revellers. Breakfast was of poor quality and there would be queues: better take a cappuccino with brioche at modest price in a nearby bar. We could not sit in the rather spacious hall to read or work with the computer because of continuous noise either by a radio or by a tv set. The price of Internet connection was rather extravagant so we did not take advantage of the service. But there are a number of cheap internet cafes in the area. On the whole 54 euros for a double ensuite room in the centre of Milan was very good value for money.

The hotel was certainly convenient to the train station, and the room was clean and affordable, which were my main criteria. However, the area in which the hotel was located was somewhat commercial and fairly deserted due to August holidays and as a woman traveling alone I did not feel comfortable being out at night in that neighborhood. I also passed a few women loitering outside another hotel in the area and I'm not entirely certain they weren't hookers! So while the hotel was fine, by itself, if I return to Milan I will probably stay elsewhere, although this was fine for the one night I spent there.

If you are looking for low cost and decent quality, you can't beat this place. The rooms are decent and you have all the needed amenities. It is not glamorous, by any means, but anyone who expects luxury at these prices is deluding themselves. For the most part, the staff did all they could to be accomodating. The breakfast isn't gourmet, but it will get you started. They do need to do something about their elevator. Besides being tiny, it sometimes doesn't work right. Also, our bathroom door would not close all the way.Overall, though, anyone who comes away from here disappointed is trying too hard to be unhappy.

The continental breakfast is mediocre, not much variety, but then again, the hotel is not expensive. Therefore, one cannot expect a super abundant and varied breakfast. There was only one bedside lamp in our room (with two beds). We asked for a second lamp which reception provided immediately. One day the room had been cleaned but no towels had been left in the bathroom! Reception immediately sent them to us. The price is good, the quality is acceptable, it is near the city center (although the immediate area of the hotel is a bit shabby). I have no complaints.

Numerous italian channels and only two english channels (CNN and EUROSPORT) do not do the trick, especially if you are from a german speaking country (neighbouring). staff was very unfriendly at times, had the feeling that they wanted to get rid of you? one employee even told us to try and program other channels ourselves even tho this was clearly not possible. I would recommend this hotel. I had a single room (with 2 beds) for 44 Euros, what I consider a great price for a big city like Milan. It was spacious and clean. The window overlooked a huge court, so it as very quiet. The staff is very kind and helpful. I didn't need any help, but I saw people asking for information, and the staff was of great help to them. The AC didn't work in the best way, as it was quite old. I'd certainly go back again if I had the same price again. There are lots of other hotels in the area, and many of them are better than this one, but more expensive for sure. 10 minutes' walk to Corso Buenos Aires (shopping area) and 5 minutes from station and metro.
