The receptionists are extremelly friendly, as soon as we arrived in the hotel they helped us with our baggage (there were two floors in stairs. Then they made suggestions about what to visit and were to go. The hotel is near the bus stops, tne metro and the main city train terminal. The location is convinient and the enviroment also.

My family had a comfortable stay and we found the owner ran the business and he was very welcoming, friendly and helpful. The room was a little cramped but it is to be expected in Europe. Our room faced the main street and I found it to be a little noisy for my liking as there was a bar immediately below us and a lot of people like to drink and smoke outside on the pavement (which happened to be beneath our room).

The host was a very lovely man, but the hotel a little bit misleading in terms of the photos, and had to endure some 'ladies of the night' as we walked to get some food after hours. In the end, we chose to cancel the second part of our booming (after Como) and go to a different hotel.

Further than expected from train station, took 35mins to find on foot in the dark, don't think you could do it in less than 20 mins with luggage. Room was basic but clean, bathroom a bit small but adequate. Street outside was noisy. Breakfast was coffee at the bar and a plastic wrapped croissant.

Not a bad hotel to stay in, because of the price. unfortunatelly the day I arrived there was no hot water. We have to cross the bar to go to WC.

Good location - convenient to the subway, thus to all major attractions. 10 min on foot to the Central Station. Good value by Milano standards. Met expectations.

The 2-room bed we have used was small but clean, good for the price. Not all receptionists speak foreign languages (1 of the 2 man we've met did), but my 10-word italian knowledge was enough to make me understand :-) In all respects, the receptionists were very kind. The location is excellent, it's near subway lines and also not far from the inner city on foot, but quite calm. There're also 3 mid-level restaurants/pizzerias in 50 m circle. Next time in Milano, I would definitely check if there's available room for me in the Del Sole.

I was rather surprised to see such a poor excuse for a hotel. There was no elevator to get our stuff up to the first floor, the room was small and there was practically nothing there except the bed. The room overlooked the street and we could not open the window. The bathroom was so small and the there was nothing to place the soap in the shower, which was an apology of a shower. CRAPPY!!!

The Hotel is centrally located, near to the station and shopping area. Close to underground. Seen the prices in Milan, this was very good value, the staff was very helpful and polite. Rooms simple but clean. Downsides: walls are thin and you can hear people in reception, there is no proper breakfast area, although you can buy hot and cold drinks and croissants are abailable.

Basic but clean room with lovely staff, just what i needed. For the price we paid it was great. The street outside was noisy but there was a big football match that night, it didn't bother me much. 5 mins walk to 2 metro stations.

The hotel is really far from the station (took about 20 mins to walk). Furthermore, the registration counter is located at 2nd floor. We have to wait for a while to wait someone come down and lead us go up to upper floor. The staircase is narrow and we were having difficult to bring up our luggage. The whole surrounding are also very messy & noisy. Especially on night, someone even come and tried to open the lock of the bedroom door and this made us felt really uncomfortable with the stay. The wall is not sound proof, so we can't sleep well coz it does very very noisy even we can hear any sound from our next door and upper floor as well. I think i will not recommend to my friend and i'm sure we still can look for other better quality service hotel with the same rate or may be lesser.

We have booked into Hotel Del Sole twice now, both times through you for the sheer convenience of your website. Though it had been a year, if I recall, since our previous stay there, we were recognized by the staff and welcomed. They have gone out of their way to accommodate our needs and we will probably use them every time we go through Milan and are staying over there.

Espaccially we like to point out that there is a nice bar next to the hotel (but not noise at all), a well know Pizzeria by Milano people, a large shopping street next street and a short walking distance to the metro. Overall a good place to stay.

Del Sole is a nice hotel at 5 minutes from the railway station and about 20 minutes from the old city center. Only negative points are the thin walls and the fact that there was not always hot water. But overall an excellent relationship price/quality.
