Io e la mia ragazza abbiamo passato una notte in questo hotel. Molto comodo e silenzioso, in posizione vantaggiosa se si vuole essere al centro della vita notturna.

This hotel is in my opinion very good and quite cheap. Its surroundings are not so fine, but you must think to be in Milan, not in Florence... The room was very clean even if really very small: I knew that before starting home, no problem for me. If I'll go back again to Milan I'll choose this hotel another time, sure.

Good position in quiet street, near 2 major tram routes. Room is fine but very small indeed so not great if you have a lot of luggage or need plenty of space. Breakfast buffet excellent, public areas pleasant and contemporary. Good in terms of value for money but for more than one night or spending time in the room - not ideal.

This hotel has changed a lot. Back in 2003 it was a cozy though small hotel in the (touristic) center of Milan. It was in good condition and with nice details. Now, in early 2009, it looked as it was back then... without any servicing done to the rooms in 5 years! I hope they raise the level to what it was....

The location is good. You can walk to the city centre or take a tram, bus or underground. The distance to the nearest underground stop (S.Ambrogio)is actually more than 400 m. The room was nice and clean. Breakfast was excellent.

Everything was good, and the hotel location is great: a quiet street at a walking distance from both the Duomo and the Navigli with all their pubs and restaurants. Our bedroom was clean and quiet, but really tiny: we could open our suitcase only on the bed. Good breakfast, friendly and efficient staff.

First time to Milan and had a great time. Would definitely return to this hotel. It is literally on the doorstep of the Navigli district and the breakfast was amazing, including any type of coffee you want! Staff very helpful and knowledgeable.

The room was a little small, the beds were good, the minibar was not re-stocked when the room was made up, there weren't products in the bathroom on arrival and the shower was the slammest we've ever seen! Hotel in good location. Asked for a "limosine" to the airport on departure as advertised in reception and was poorly organised by the reception staff.

This Mercure Hotel did not match what I am used to obtain from an hotel of this Group. Although there are positive points as location, breakfast (great quality and choice but please on bigger tables, globally it has been a disappointment as I did expect more.

The hotel room was VERY small. It consisted of a bed against a wall with a very narrow walkway on the other side. There was a large hole in the wall in the bathroom. The hotel is located on an obscure street with un-appealing buildings in disrepair. Brunch was very good with bacon, eggs, cereal, coffee, juice, bread, and chocolate. Overall fair value considering the hotel was centrally located and a decent price.

The Location is quiet and green which I feel nice. But Cleanness of the room was bad. Dust kept mount in the room and the employee didn't clean up the room enough. Towels sometime didn't be exchanged. The clogged drainpipe of bathroom that I had clame was not repaired.

We stayed in the hotel for three nights. We had a twin bedded room and each of us had a really nice big bed. And the breakfast was really nice compared to other hotels we´ve stayed at:-) At it is situated 10-12 min walk from the duomo square. Perfect hotel for us, and when we go to milan again we´ll most likely use the hotel again...

The hotel was excellent. I couldnt ask for more. Very clean rooms. Nice bathrooms. Good location yet able to keep themselves in a quiet area. Excellent facilities. Breakfast was massive despite the fact that we are vegetarians. The people there are just wonderful and English wasnt a problem. I hope to be back there again very soon. Maybe a 3stars hotel but with the service they deserve a 5 stars rating!

The hotel staff did an excellent job to try and help my daughter, who was driving, find the hotel. They also tried to help locate my lost luggage. They could not have done any more for us. Breakfast was very good and the room was clean. The shower was the smallest I have ever seen! Over all, I would say the value was good and I would stay there again.

I traveled with my friend, and originally hoped to find a hotel near the Duomo, but in fact the hotel was not as near as we thought. It took like forever to get to the hotel on foot from the underground. That's not an enjoyment after an exhousting shopping day. However I suggest the visiters could take Tram to communoicate between downtown and the hotel. It's much more convenient the underground. Meanwhile I have to complain about the room which was small enough to suffocate people in the room and the bathroom.I even wondered if the space was enough for single, not to mention for double.Beside the spaciouness of room, others were nice, people were kind and helpful. If the room was bigger, I might stay there next time, but now, I'd think twice.

This hotel was great. Metro stops are a little bit of awalk, but it's not bad at all. The hotel is in a quiet neighborhood but nothing is far to go to whatsoever. You can walk to Navigli in less than 10 minutes, walk to the Duomo in less than 15 minutes and see a lot of interesting things on the way. The staff was very friendly and spoke English and the breakfast was great. The air conditioning worked well and kept the room cool while the heat was soaring. All in all, this was an excellent hotel and I highly recommend it.

We had difficulty finding hotel at first but it was 9PM and dark when we arrived at Metro station (S.AMBROGIO). We were given quite a large room as there are a couple on each wing of hotel. The Hotels location for eating and drinking is excellent. Breakfast was fantastic but had difficulty finding milk, the choice is amazing. Very reasonable. Would definitely stay again.

The room was clean and sufficiently quiet (only upper floors are silent), but really too small, and surely not of the quality we could expect from a Mercure Hotel. Great breakfast, but even in this case there was not enough space to enjoy it (very few and small tables, really close each other). The hotel staff was very kind and competent.

On arrival we felt the hotel was a little out of the way, however, we found it's only 5mins from the nearest Metro and a further 10-12 minutes walk into the centre of Milan. The hotel breakfast is unbelieveable so much choice - magnificant! We were just sorry that we wasn't that hungry in the mornings (too many nice places to eat late in the evenings) to take full advantage!!!

The room was miserably small especially the toilet!! The staff weren't very friendly and they didn't quite understand English which I find surprising in Milan. We had an excellent stay! The staff was courteous and helpful. The room was comfortable, clean and quiet, with good air conditioning AND the Relais Mercure had absolutely the best breakfast - by far - of any of the hotels at which we stayed. Also, this hotel is within easy walking distance of major sites, transportation and a great dining/strolling experience along Naviglio Grande. Our only complaints, trivial as they are, are actually with Venere.com's site. First, all the maps for any hotel we reviewed were terribly small and mostly useless. Second, the booking confirmation for a chosen hotel lists their telephone number, but not the street address, making it difficult to search for and print a better map. Enjoy!

Outstanding breakfast buffet. The double room was the smallest we have ever stayed in. It would not work for more than one night stay.
