Hotel Colombia - Milan

Buon city hotel in zona centrale.

It's a quiet and comfortable hotel. For business is well situated. The relationship between price and quality is good. I'll repeat.

The hotel is comfortable and clode to Milan main train station (stazione centrale). The surrounding are now with no problem and everything is easy if you need to move around by public transportation.

The hotel is ok as a stopping place for 1 night. Very centrally located, still a bit confusing to get there if you haven't been. The soap/body wash smells great. Pretty clean. Small showers and tiny rooms.

Struttura minuziosamente curata, personale gentilissimo, stanza completa, luminosa pulita. Albergo al di sopra della categoria indicata.

5min from the station centrale. Small rooms & completely different from the overall decoration of the hotel (in a bad way I mean...). Very nice staff. Amazing breakfast. Beautiful garden. Too bad the room was not like the photos! The price is too high for the overall standard of the hotel (... mostly because of the room!).

It is ok if you want or if you need to stay in the middle of the city. From railway station is 10 minutes by walk.

Internet is available in only some rooms

The type of room when we arrived (1st night) did not correspond to what we have booked. Otherwise, the hotel is nice, confortable and (as far as we have seen) a good relation price/quality in Milan

I go to Milan every season for business. Hotel Colombia looks good, but it is pity that the room is quite small, and air condition does not work well. I felt so hot and complained about this to reception, but the employee did not care just said he can not do anything, and did not allow us to change the room. He can not speak English and his attitude was terrible cold and bad. This should be a nice hotel with a design lobby. If its service and management can be improved, i can consider to recommend to friends and company to stay again.

The hotel is a few blocks away from the central train station making it ideal for people heading to and from the airport that would rather experience a bit of the city instead of staying at an airport hotel. It is close to the metro so even though the area around the station isn't the most exciting, it is easy to get to other parts of Milan for sightseeing, shopping, and restaurants. The room was definitely small though spotlessly clean and obviously recently redecorated. It would be good for a night or two or for people who spend more time exploring than sitting in their room. You might be able to get a better space to price ratio though most things around the station are expensive. Did not try the breakfast as I had to leave earlier than it began, and the noise was not from the street but from another guest who listened to his TV at top volume.

Hotel superbe completement rénové avec style. Le personel est extra, parle francais. Très bien placé. Very nice hotel newly refreshed. The staff is very nice and helpfull. Well situated. Very good value for money. Don't hesitate
