Club hotel is a quite good place to stay for 3-4 days. Sadly our first night was bad, the walls are thin, and you can hear the other hotelguests coming back to room at 2AM. We stayed 3 nights, the staff changed our towels and stuff every day (around 10-12AM). The breakfast is good, we missed the fried eggs, but it's not a big problem. There was cakes, fruits, yogurt, coffee, meats. We arrived to the hotel too early at 9AM, so we couldn't check in our room, but the receptionist let us let our baggages there. Sadly the wifi connection is only for extra charge, and there is a stupid habit in Milan, that you need to register for wifi at every place (mcdonalds, autogrill, etc..) The room wasn't so spacious, but for 2 of us it was no problem. If you are a good sleeper, and the noises can't wake you up, i really reccomend this place to you, it's very near to the central station, and to metro station called Sondrio (5 minutes from Duomo and Scala), if you are about to see Inter or AC Milan it is also good for you, there is bus 91 which takes you near to the San Siro stadium (30 min bus + 10 min walk)

The hotel location was nice, very close to the central station and some nice restaurants and shops. The room was clean and cosy. The breakfast I didn't enjoy as much, the bread was really hard and the coffee could have been better. Also, every single member of staff was extremely rude. The receiptionist kept making faces and sighing when we spoke to him, also didn't want to give us the invoice at the end of stay. Housekeeping staff are mostly Russian and they keep speaking in that language between themselves while swearing and discussing the visitors, which I found extremely rude, since Milan has a lot of Russian visitors and I could understand them. This hotel needs majour upgrades, the shower drain was blocked, so while I had a shower a lot of water ended up on the floor and the coffee machine in the breakfast room got blocked with milk as well, and staff dealt with these situations in an extremely unprofessional manner, saying that I blocked the shower with my hair, even though I've only used it once, and saying that we pressed the buttons on the coffee machine too many times and that's why it's blocked. Yet again the words like "sorry", "excuse me" and "thank you" seem to be absent from their vocabulary. We went to Milan to celebrate my birthday and I didn't appreciate this kind of treatment at all. Also, even the cheapest hostels I've been to in other countries offer free wi-fi, yet this 3* establishment charges 5 euros for 24 hours and the signal isn't even that strong, so a lot of people had to go outside the room to use their devices. Not having a kettle in the room is also a minus.

We were 3 women (mother and 2 daughters)and have been in Milan for 5 days. There were not so many restaurants near the hotel and so we were for most meals in the city center.

Staff very unpolite (they barely welcome you when you arrive). The room was indecently small, no electrical plug for the pc, the staff wasn't able to give me a wifi account. Surroundings are awful. I definitely won't stay here for my next time in Milan

The welcome was not very good and i told the receptioninst the room we had was very noisy everytime the lift moved and she just said she knew. Did not offer to change the room! It was very distubing during the night but luckily we were just in transit and had an early morning train to catch. The check out receptionist was a lot better!

Main advantage was the hotel's proximity to Milano Centrale railway station (and to Metro stations into city centre). Hotel was adequate, convenient, and reasonable value for what we paid and in view of general prices in Milan.

We chose Hotel Club because of the close proximity (within easy walking distance) of Milan Central Railway Station. The receptionist was extremely arrogant and rude. Rooms were very basic.

I arrived at the Stazione Centrale from Zurich, so the contrast was extreme. Milan is the third largest urban area. The Club Hotel is close to the train station--very urban. Leave from the front of the station, facing Via Vittor Pisani, and head right, through a park full of drunks. It serves as a tram stop. Continue right and follow Via Fabio Filzi to Via Tonale. Left on Via Tonale a block and you see Via Copernico--Hotel Club on your right. Aside from the park, this is a perfect location to catch the M to the Duomo area. The Club has Wi-Fi, but the keyboard is Italian. Go to Google tools for English. My room had a balcony, but you're in an urban area and the Via Tonale is heavily traveled. for my one night in Milano--perfecto.

Camera piccola ma pulita e confortevole. Personale cordiale e disponibile. Colazione abbondante.

The Club Hotel is very close, approx. 5 minutes, to the central station and thus within easy access to railway and tube networks. It offers free wi-fi access to the internet, which is good for business travellers. The breakfast is very good. The size of the single room is reasonable so long you are there for sleeping only. I did not encounter any problems walking near the hotel late at night. Both room and bathroom were very clean. Therefore, I will stay there again next year when I shall return to Milan.

With a bit of renovation this place could become rather 'chic' as the name would suggest. As it, it appears rather tired and dated. And trained in the use of a good guidebook, the internet or a phonebook the staff could become more helpful.

Un hotel pratique et bien placé dans la ville de Milan. Les chambres sont grandes et bien entretenues, mais les lits sont un peut dur, la salle de bain est bien.

The Club Hotel is suitable for a business-only stay in Milan. If you already know your way around and don't have any questions for the staff this hotel is more than sufficient, and it is perfectly located for access to the Metro lines, train and airport transports. Taxi fare from the train station is under 5 Euro and there are restaurants within walking distance. My stay was only for two nights during the Formula 1 race at Monza in September and it worked out very well for my needs. The Club Hotel was actually nicer than I expected and the neighborhood isn't as bad as I've read...especially compared to Rome. My reasoning for Quality vs. Price rating is that in the United States this hotel would cost 50% less.

Our flight was delayed so we e-mailed from an airport and there was someone there at midnight who had waited up for us without complaint. So nice! The room is fine -- TV and reading lights on both sides of the bed and good air conditioning made all the difference. The breakfast was excellent and generous in a very pretty breakfast area.

The hotel was small but perfect for the independent traveller. Small clean rooms, helpful staff, excellent breakfast buffet. The location was central and near main railway station. Next time i'm in Milan, i'll stay there

The staff was very helpfull, and the rooms were very clean. Noise through the walls was a little bit of a nuissance, but definately not loud enough to keep you awake. Great place for a great price. The only drawback is that neighborhood is a little bit shady.

Apart from the officious and far from personable man on reception, this hotel facilitated my needs adequately which were based around football. I wasn't rushed out of my room the next day and could leave my bag in the hotel while I went sight seeing (both plus points in my view). All in all, if you are looking for a base from which to explore Milan without expecting home comforts then this is ideal. Be aware of a slightly hostile atmosphere near to central station late at night - but then again this is probably the same in any city.

The Club Hotel is the biggest dump you can stay for 150Euros a night! The rooms are old and dirty, the windowns don't open, the service is horrible and the location is, well 100 meters from the hotel you can buy herion and crack, so if you are into that, then this might be your best pick. I cannot recommend this place to anyone. Fork out the extr 150 and stay at a nice place near the dome or the golden triangle.

I think the good thing of this hotel was the location which was near the central station in Milan. But the price was really expensive as 120 euro per night, because the room was small and a little dark and the bed was as well.
