Enjoyed our overnight stay at the hotel. They have an excellent breakfast, best we had in France and Italy. Our only negative feedback is that although the hotel is close to the station the directions to the hotel when arriving by train is completely unsatisfactory. I also phoned the hotel for directions, but their directions took me away from the hotel. Make sure before arriving you have a good map and located the hotel. Apart from this it is an excellent stay. Please don't go to Garibaldi's (not part of the hotel and not recommended by their staff, but recommended by another guest) for Dinner, they are extremely expensive and charge you for items you did not order. Please be advised.

Great staff competences. The reception room is really nice. Also the breakfast room is very gracious with red sofà. The quality of the breakfast is very good. I suggest this hotel for the execellent relationship between price and qaulity. good the location respect to the metro.

This hotel was truly better than we expected - I wouldn't be surprised if it gets one more star soon. The room is awesomely well decorated - good curtains, nice wallpapers. Bed is very comfortable - none of other 3-star hotels I've stayed in had such great bed! And they even had a free toothbrush + toothpaste in the bathroom, such a nice and rare touch!1q1

This hotel was in an excellent location, very near the metro station and within walking distance of wonderful restaurants. The location seemed to be in a safe area. Above all, the staff made this stay unforgettable! They were all extremely helpful with all of my inquiries and needs. Will definitely stay here again.

I stayed 3 days in Milan for a training course and I stayed at Hotel Cervo with my daughter (she's only 1 year old) and my mother (who did the babysitting). It was a nice stay even if normally the Hotel welcomes just business people (so I think).

The hotel was close to corso Como which is very trendy and there was a feeling of safety in the area. plus there is a supermarket the next door to the hotel which is helpful. The staff were great, especially Paco, who was very friendly and a good funny and happy person in a whole. The rooms are old but clean, but when I asked about the room in the photos the pink flowered wall room, I've been told that there isn't one like it. I arrived to a dark designed room and a bit noisy because it turned to the street, so I asked to move to a brighter and quieter one, and there was no problem, and the I made an early check in smoothly. The breakfast is nothing to hurry to, we preferred to go out and have coffee and brioche elsewhere. But all in all, it was a nice stay, think the room should have cost about 20 euros less.

It's a bit far on foot to the Duomo area from the hotel. The tram day pass was fairly cheap if you are likely to have more than 2 trips per person within 24 hours. Buy tickets from a giornalaio or tabaccaio.

Nice hotel, short way to Duomo. Very nice grocery store next door, so you could buy some fruit, that was missing on the breakfast. Why can't they have some real bread ?

The location of the hotel is good (just 30 min. walk from the Piazza del Duomo), but the hotel is quite old and needs a restoration (in my opinion. The moquette on the floors is not nice to see, my room was very quiet.

The room was quite spacious and quiet due to the windows facing the inner court. The heating didn't work in the bathroom, however, the bedroom was warm enough to heat up the bathroom as well. The breakfast wasn't too rich but it's worth its price although the sausages were awful: they smelled disgusting. The overall stay was very good: really competent and polite staff, location not far from the centre and the central station.

Staff extremely helpful with shopping, opera tickets, restaurants, travel connections, etc. It's a three-star hotel with a five-star staff. Location is also great fun -- near Corso Como, the Brera, a theater, cinemas (which showed English films), restaurants and cafes. Also convenient to the metro, which puts all of Milan within reach.

Room looks old, flower wallpaper and carpet on the floor. Air condition worked, but was not very efficient. The room smelled perfume and it was too much smell and not good to sleep in. Breakfast was ok, but nothing special. Close to metro station, around 5 minutes walk. 3 stops to Duomo and one stop to train station. Supermarket next door, open all day. Staff in the reception answered our questions. The room was clean. Ok place to sleep, but nothing extraordinary.

Excellent place to stay for a city break. The best thing to say about hotel surroundings is the park nearby and Metro 3 min away. It takes you about 20 min. walking to the Duomo area. Our room facing the backyard was very quiet even when we slept with the window open. Breakfast ok. Staff very friendly. Being in Milano you should visit the Navigli area taking the Metro to Porta Genova.

We 2 adults and 2 kids made a prenotation for 2 doubles, however we found 2 singles with two lucky beds added for the kids. Therefore there was no space to move inside the rooms! The overall stay was pleasant and we would return especially as the manager excusing the little space offered us some discount on our next sojourn!!!????

My wife and I just returned from a five city tour of Italy. Our first night was at the Cervo. I've been to Europe, (and Italy) before so I didn't expect a large room. On the positive side, we were greeted by a very friendly host, our room was ready, it was clean, with a clean and fully equipped washroom. The room was quiet and the breakfast room was open, airy and clean. The breakfast (included with the room, which, based on European prices can equate to a value of 15-20 euros per couple) included cold cereals, a variety of pastries, toast, cheese and ham, juice, and coffee or tea. On the negative side, for North Americans beware of the size of suitcase you are bringing as the elevators are the smallest you will encounter. My wife had a mid-size suitcase and I had a rolling carry-on case. With the two of us and our luggage we had to squeeze in. It may seem like a small thing, but if you are travelling with two cases each, and have just flown 8-10 hours, have taken a bus or train on top of that and a taxi to the hotel the last thing you really want to do is to take multiple trips in the elevator to get to your room. This is not unique to the Cervo. In fact, some of the elevators were smaller. The only other negative was that we had understood the Cervo was in walking distance (400m) of the train and we needed to take a taxi as it was definitely further than that. Another little tidbit of helpful info would be that wnen locals say a destination is 5-10 minutes away, you must count on 3 times that unless you are familiar with the city streets, as it is very easy to get misguided. And don't be shy or too proud to ask for directions. Overall, based on our expectations, the Cervo was a great place to stay (8/10).

The situation of the hotel is perfect, just in the centre of Milan and close to "Republica"'s underground. The room was quite good, although our windows were overlooking the inner patio, the bathroom had a sliding door and the double bed was in fact 2 twin beds together. The staff is very professional and the breakfast is ok. Very good quality/price. If you go to Milan, for sure "hotel Cervo" is a good option :)

Good location. The hotel is not close to the Duomo on foot but it is in the city and not far from the Repubblica subway station. Milano Centrale (The train station) is only 1 subway station from Repubblica and the Duomo station is only 3-4 stations on the other direction. The hotel was a little expensive for me but Milan seems to be a very expensive city. On my next visit to Milan I would stay at this hotel again but I will probably do more research and try to look for something cheaper with the same quality.

I have probably stayed at Cervo at least 10-12 times: Perfect location, good value for money, and very nice staff. I have tried a lot of other hotels in Milano - but for the relationship between price and quality; Cervo is the best!
