The only negativ issue were the bad breakfast and the lazy waiters. Concerning the breakfast and breakfastservice it seems to me that they still live on 4 Stars, earned a long time ago.

Rooms are OK, but the People in front desk were very impolite, more than Italian people usually. They also charge at counter more than we were informed when we made the order.

Great hotel. Location is close both to the art district with its museum and great cafes, and to the Arcade and Duomo. We had a two room suite for three (parents and a teenage child), and the price was less than most hotels' double rooms.

We stayed for 2 nights in Cavour and in general think it was OK but too expensive. We were greatly impressed by their breakfast - best in Italy! The only thing we dislike was extremely small bathroom, we could hardly close the door.

It didn't look like a 4 star hotel as far as the rooms go, it was like a revamped 1970s-1980s hotel, but it was clean and quite nice for the price. And great location!

I made a booking about one month prior to the stay. The quoted price was 144 euro per night. Then I had to change my travel plans and to arrive one day earlier. When I tried to change reservation it was impossible! I had to cancel existing reservation and make a new one. New price became 172 euro per night! What was even more interesting, a friend of mine came one day later without any reservation. He received the same price but better room (double instead of single). What is the point in reservations??

Staff very friendly and helpful. Room was fantastic size and extremely good value for money - in fact I would have been happy to pay more. Couldn't fault the Cavour if I tried (which normally I have no problem doing)!

The Cavor was as described in a good location walkable to La Scala and the Duomo although not quite as close I had expected The designer retailes begin just across the Piazza. Close to may museums and attractions. Not may restaurants in the very immediate vicinity but not too far on foot or taxi/metor. Metro one block. Good soundproofing very quiet for an urban hotel, recently installed two unit double pane glass.

This hotel is well located. A little difficult to find if you are driving. Most of the staff were helpful and friendly. Parking is quite a way up the street from the hotel and again the one way streets make it hard to get back. Very close to the heart of Milan.

We stayed at the Cavour for 5 nights (including a weekend), business for me, shopping for my wife. The hotel is located on the northern rim of the old city, east of the Braera district. The Via della Spiga is close by and the hotel is a five minute walk from the Piazza della Scalla and other central sites. The hotel is clearly geared for the business trade. The evening meal was good and service attentive, but the menu remained the same for the duration of our visit. The Turati Metro station, located at the edge of the extensive Giardini Pubblici Indro Montanelli, is adjacent to the hotel and the one euro ticket, valid for one hour, lets you travel easily thoughout the city.

Great hotel for a small stay in Milan (4-5 days) either for holidays or for bussiness. Very good service, Escellent breakfast, quality of rooms-although not very spacious. Within walking diastance to the city centre, to Brera, to Teatro alla Scala, to the metro. Definitely visit again.

We were very happy with our stay at the Cavour. It wasn't greatly more expensive then cheaper hotels with a much better room and very good breakfast. Two lots of double glazed windows on our room so very quiet.

Good location for shopping, theatre, museums and old quarters of the city. La Scala is only 5 minutes away on foot. The single room #423 was quiet and of appropriate size facing the courtyard. The staff is efficient, though not particularly warm or friendly, as it is a fairly large hotel. My only complaint is that neither Venere.com nor the hotel informed me that the breakfast (17 Euro) was included in the room charge. I usually don't eat breakfast but missed good coffee and a few bread. (There was no coffee-maker in the room.) It was an enjoyable stay though and I would recommend it.

This was another excellent experience. We found the hotel staff to be very efficient and courteous. We were given the names of excellent and reasonably priced restaurants located at a walking distance. We will definitely stay at the hotel Cavour during our next trip to Milan.
