The front desk people are extremely rude and unhelpful! When asked about where something is they just circled it on the map w/o further explanation. Also, when asked to give some more detail the staff person simply repeated himself and that's it. WOULD NEVER STAY AT THIS HOTEL AGAIN DUE TO HORRIFIC SERVICE!!!!!

Do not be put off by the drab exterior. The hotel was attractively furnished and met all our needs. Breakfast offered a large choice. The location was quiet and both the cathedral and The Last Supper were within walking distance.

Albergo al centro di milano, vicinissimo al duomo, a due passi da via Torino. Raccomandato per la postazione. Stanza confortevole anche se piccola e insonorizzata pessimamente.

I've been in Milan just 1 night for business and the accomodation was good, very close to the center and with good relation price/quality considering position (other hotels nearby really really expensive!)

First of all the fee for the parking possibility was rated at the home page with 21 euro and the additional comment that this price can vary. At the end we paid 28 euro for each night. Altough the parking service is quiet good, this is much too high and it's not ok to post 21 euro on the homepage with this additional comment of price variation. Additionally the room cleaning service was too motivatet and kept away my slepping underwear. And at least we paid 26 euro for a bottle of awful white wine. But inspide of these it was quite a nice stay at this hotel.

It's awful that you have to pay in advance. Indeed, the quietness of the room is not so good. There's a lift close to the room and therefore there's its noise. There's a big benefit: this hotel is very close to the city centre.

Although the rooms were extremely small, they were clean and the tram runs to the station runs right outside the hotel.

Arriving at the hotel to find out it had just been awarded 4 star status was a pleasant surprise, or so I thought. Having stayed at another 4* hotel close to the Milan Fair for the first 2 nights of my 5 night stay in Milan, I had something tangeable to compare it with. Location was excellent (hence why the second location) compared to being based way out north west. Although the Fair district is only an tube train ride from Milan central, it is not the most pleasant of underground rides (Hong Kong rules). My overview of the Carrobbio is "not bad value for money for a 3*, below average for a 4*)>

A warm welcome from a friendly and competent staff. We were there on a public holiday, and they found and booked a restaurant for us.

Very nice and competent personel. They gave us good advises for different types of restaurants in the area. The hotel is situated a few minutes walk from the Dome as well as the Market place. Very nice hotel for a weekend in Milan.

Rooms are very clean, but very small. Great location only 5 minute walk to Il Duomo and convenient for shops and restaurants. No food available at night in the hotel.

The Hotel Carrobio is certainly overrated even as a three-star hotel. The room was quite worn, even a bit shabby. The whole facility looks like it is overdue for extensive renovation. The location is good, and the staff were quite gracious and accommodating, but for the price the facility was very disappointing. This was the only hotel featured by Venere that didn't live up to your reputation. The others were excellent.

we would definitely stay again if we were visiting Milan. The staff were very friendly and helpful and eager to please, The only slight reservation I would have is that the breakfast wasn't great and wouldn't have taken much effort to have been made better , nicer bread and croissants with better selection of fresh fruit would have been ideal - I would also move it upstairs to the much prettier room by the conservatory. The location is one of the few 'pretty' ones in Milan being within 5 mins walking distance of Duomo.

The Corrobbio is a nice hotel and conveniently located to the Duomo, shopping, etc. We did take the Metro to "The Last Supper", which is also a nice area to visit. The breakfast at the Corrobbio was very good. I would rate the staff high. All staff members were very helpful and pleasant. We had two rooms that adjoined. The noise level was a particular problem in one of the rooms(rm 101) and somewhat of a problem in the other (rm 110). The noise carried on at all hours during the night. The only other issue was the fact that the shower was clogged. We told the staff about it and the shower was not unclogged while we were at the hotel. We left the Corrobbio after two nights, went to Venice, stayed the last night at the Corrobbio in the same rooms and the shower was still clogged. Other than that, our stay was pleasant.

excellent linen sheets, very good breakfast and friendly people few blocks from the Duomo. Shower could be more spacious and rooms`carpet better cleaned.
