We stayed here for just one night. We just needed a cheap place to sleep before we got up early to catch our flight home. We didn't get there till 7pm and didn't have high expectations. Cheap and a bed was what we were looking for and this was it. It's walkable from the train station if you have rolling suitcases.

Well Brianza Hotel is just the right hotel if you plan to stay over night in Milano but for a few days. It's perfect for tourists who just want somewhere to stay near the center of Milano. Staff very friendly and helpful. They give you a map of Milano also!!! Not very quiet, some noise from the next rooms (it's an old hotel)and but no noises from the street. Value for money...not very much...but you're in Milan anyway!!!Nearby there are some restaurants and a Subway Station, so it's perfect to start your city-tour. I would definetely stay there again, if it was for 2-2 nights, not more!!!

The room is extremely small, and the staff is not very helping actually. However, the location is just around 10 mins walk away from Metro station. Of course for the cheaper rate, we don't expect how exellent the room is, but it's really too narrow, we can hardly walk in the small space after we putting our one big and one small lugguge in. And the shower is..small too, i am a only 160-cm girl, i feel uncomfortable to take shower in. Another important thing is that there's no elevator, so travellers who stay on the first floor above will need to carry your luggage by ur own.

Tiny room but very clean and tidy. Excellent bathroom standard, the hotel is a good choice if one doesn't need much room. Actually, you can hear the tram passing through the street but it is not annoying nor frequent. Close enough from the train station and to the downtown to walk. Very good welcoming and assistance provided. I was travelling for business, so I needed a good place to sleep in, the Brianza has been an excellent choice.

We booked 2 double rooms which were on special offer for two couples. Our rooms were clean, well furnished and provided great accommodation for our 3 nights stay. The hotel is in a great location for walking to and from the Duomo / Duomo Plaza, about a 10 minute walk. There weren't any elevators in the hotel though, so might not be so suitable for disabled guests. Also, there is no personal safe in the hotel rooms so be careful with any valuables you may bring on your trip, whether you choose to bring them with you outside or leave them in the room. Light sleepers beware though as the tram outside runs till quite late, but is not so noticeable when the windows are closed. The staff are helpful and friendly, but one of them didn't speak English so well which made things a little confusing when asking for directions. (For next time, I shall learn a bit more Italian to be able to communicate better). Follow Boyan Tsanev's review (Mar 2009) for parking prices and tips. All in all, a fantastic stay! I would recommend it for those looking for a good budget hotel in Milan.

A nice hotel with very clean rooms, only 15 minutes walk away from the Duomo. There were also quite a lot of restaurants where one can eat in the vicinity so for the price we got it was a real bargain. The only problem was that the room was either very hot - with the window closed or very noisy when you open it. Still if you tend to walk back as tired as we were each evening the noise will hardly bother you.

Very nice hotel, friendly staff, walking distance from the center. One thing is about the parking option they offer - for 20 euros a guy comes and takes the car, and returns it on request - this is a little bit pricey considering it's only overnight for example. So you can leave it on the street with some parking tickets (1,50 for an hour), from 19.00 to 08.00 it's free - so it'll be a lot cheaper.

Nice family-run hotel with trams passing right outside (so easy to get around but if you don't like clanking trams this may be a factor!). Breakfast was quite poor but the rest of stay was excellent. Lots of interesting delis and eating places along the road plus a superb beer shop, A Tutta Birra, at via Lazzaro Palazzi 15.

The room was extremely clean, and looked very nice. The staff was helpful and spoke good english. Location is perfect with about 10-15 minutes walk to the central station and 5 minutes to the big shopping street Corso Buenos Aires. The breakfast is good with many choices. My only complaint is that we saw a cockroach in the bathroom, luckily it disappeared quickly and we didn't see it again. I highly recommend Hotel Brianza for a budget stay with good location.

They don't have a 3 star hotel quality. I booked a quaternary room in the hotel. However the room was a standard double room with four beds. So the arrangement of the room was quite strange and small moving area. The price of this quaternary room was the same with 2 double room's price. My room was beside the street, it was quite noisy due to the tram. The room looked OK when I moved in. But when I used the bathroom I found insect in the shower room. That's terrible! The cleaner took away my towel as theirs. The most import terrible thing was they said I left 2 stains in the bathroom and charge me 250 euro in my payment credit card without my consent after I checked out. It is a illegal activity. And they even cannot provide the evidence of stains.

The hotel is good located near the city centre but it is really loud and the rooms are rather small; I think that therefore the room was very expensive; I was in Rome 3 weeks ago and had a room in the city centre at around the same price which was much better than this one, and Rome is the capital of Italy. As I saw before the rooms in Milan are very expensive in general, but I don't think that the hotels in Milan are worth the expensive prices.

Too expensive for that kind of hotel. I have paid same money for 3 starred hotels that I would define as 5 stars. This I would say 1 or 2 star that I wouldn't pay more than 20 euro/night. Stayed for only one night, but was more than enough for me. I would never return to this one. Very noisy, windows doesn't close, wasn't able to sleep more than one hour, because of window problem and it was on a street where tram start to make noise since 5am. Also shower was broken, however the room was pretty clean, but had a strange smell. Staff in the check-in that was during the night was very incompetentive, it was like I'm doing a favor to him to stay in this hotel since I entered the hotel... Didn't had any problems with them and didn't even complain, as I left next morning, but since I was in very much hotels, I know what type of service should be provided. Also there's no lift and no minibar in the room, which is really unusual for a 3 star hotel. Even if TV is Flat LCD, channels are all noisy - seems their antenna doesn't take the signal good enough.

Firstly, the location feels much further away than the 600m decribed here. Perhaps its the winding streets. Located between two metro lines, it was excellent for travellers like us to get around Milan on our own. The room is small but clean. The toilet is nice and bright too. A little bit noisy as the trams are passing directly outside the hotel and our room faced the roads.

Hotel is clean, with modern room interior, well renovated. It was quiet enough in the room, because we lived in a room with windows NOT facing the tram line. Surrounding of the hotel is not very romantic since it is neigbourhood of a cental rairoad station (15 minutes walking). There are many cafes and restuarants around. Public Park is in 2 minutes of walking. City center can be reached in 30 minutes by foot.

The hotel/price is really good and well located. The only problem is that it is a bit noisy because of the TRAM, which starts 5 am. The room is big and clean, the breakfast is fine, except the woman who works there who is not very well-educated. There is a really good italian restaurant called Ristorante da Ilia Via Lecco, 01. 2 blocks away from the hotel. In general, everything was fine. I recommend.
