the refurbishment was incomplete at the time of our visit, which meant that we had no bedside lighting. A writing desk was provided but the built-in power supply was not connected. Reception found us a trailing lead so that we could use a wall outlet.

Dirty bathrooom (with cokroaches), no soap: too high price (which changes everyday!).

We got a great room with a balcony. Breakfast is also very good here. WifFi is available for 3 Euro per hour, or there is half an hour free internet access in the lobby.

Except for little flies in bathroom and limit on computer use in the lobby (and no wifi) it was fine.

It was a very nice hotel. We only spent a night but around 10.00pm the girl from the reception opened the room without checking if that one was occupied. The previous guests have left a package in the closet. A couple in the room next to us talked all night long.

This is not a 3 star hotel. The room was not even clean. One night there was a party going on at the hotel and since the walls are paperthin we didn´t get any sleep at all that night. We were down to speek to the consierge but she just said that she couldn´t help us. We were 3 persons in one room but 2 out of 3 days we only got 2 towels so we had to go down to the reception to get one more. Ok, it was cheap but it was not worth it.

BE CAREFUL WITH THIS HOTEL. I STAYED HERE TWO NIGHTS AND THEY CHARGED ME THREE NIGHTS AND NOW THEY DON'T GIVE MY MONEY BACK.

Cheap hotel next to the train station. The air conditioning made a lot of noise and was dripping water on the floor while not cooling the room at all, probably needing a gas replenishment. There is an Internet-connected pc in the lobby that can be used for free but someone changed the language to Japanese so it can be a little difficult to use.

The Hotel Bolzano was as close to the train station as expected, but the area directly surrounding the hotel isn't the greatest. We walked around for awhile trying to find somewhere to eat, but there was nothing and eventually had to settle on McDonald's. Other then that it was a decent stay for the money paid.

The location of the hotel was close to railway station as expected, but the directions provided on the website to reach the hotel are not sufficient enough. Also, the reception at the hotel was very cold.

My room was okay, but I noticed an odd smell coming from the bathroom. I realized by the second day, the hotel had some plumbing problems and sewer type smells were backing up into my room. I left the bathroom closed and left the exhaust fan running during the time stayed in the room. Location to Milan's Central Station and airport was great. Hotel Service was somewhat spotty but not terrible. The area around the Hotel is less travelled in the evening and I felt somewhat uncomfortable walking around after dark. Breakfast service was very good and all sorts of people were in there, families, couples and singles and elderly. The Hotel's Lobby was a useful gathering place and the garden looked great but since it was cold it was closed. My single room was cramped with some useless furniture, could have used a little table and a small fridge. Would recommend the Hotel but check the bathroom first.

It's a good accomodation if you're looking for one night cheap hotel, but I think I won't stay more than one night! Not welcoming employeers and not helpful.I asked for a bottle of water in the evening and they say they don't have nothing to drink at all!

The hotel was dirty, the carpets are old and stained and filthy. The shower was not working, this little odd tub you climb into. The shower head was spraying out the back. The breakfast was below standard, we could not use the outside breakfast area as stated on website as it was not set up. No internet facility at hotel as advertised. Staff were friendly enough. It is a good location close to the main station but still a couple of metro stops from the historical centre.

We found the hotel a little further than 200 meters from the Railway Station. With luggage it was quite a walk. We had reserved a room with 4 beds. The room looked like it originally was for 2 beds and 2 beds were added, so it was cramped. One wall was damp and wallpaper was coming off. Furthermore after sitting on one bed with only one person it cracked and one of us fell through. All in all we were not convinced it was a 3star hotel and felt overcharged.

Bathroom and shower are in a very small room. It was really difficult to use the shower because of the small room. Shampoo and Soap were not provided. Room was a bit cold. Reception was friendly enough. Location is great, very close to public transport and down town.

I booked this hotel sight unseen via the Venere website. I would not stay at this hotel ever again & I would not recommend it to anyone either. Hotel was quite shabby and public areas (hallways) were in dire need to vacuuming. Becki Lapham

The hotel is really ugly, small and with nasty employees. My room was at ground floor and I had to keep curtains closed because there were always several people walking in the street. Moreover at night the employees talked with a loud voice and I should get up in order to make them keep silence... Horrible, I'll come back again.

The hotel is near the Milan central station. There is no private parking, but we parked a car forward the hotel. The front of hotel, there is a building that working for repair. (When we staied here, that was stopping for summer vacation. We were lucky!) The private garden is a cute. The breakfast is good! But the room is small. (I think that there are 6or7 tables for 2 persons...I'm not sure.)

The Bolzano was very nice for the price. The location was excellent, on a quiet street but near the Central Station. The rooms were clean and breakfast was good. Our only complaint was a noisy airconditioner and ceiling fan. The courtyard area was another plus. The hotel was very small and very Italian and for us this was just great. The staff were also very nice and polite and by the end of the 5 nights we were like family.

I really enjoyed the stay at the Bolzano Hotel in Milan. My room was very clean, even the bathroom. A negative point was, that I thought that the breakfast was included - in reality it was not. Even the fact that it wasn't included, the receptionist allowed me to eat with the other guests.

I do not recommend this hotel. There was a doggy do in front of its entrance. There were a lot of bolls of bust under the beds and, moreover, we were bitten by ticks or bed bags even in January.

Result of a second world war bomb being found in the vicinity, the hotel had to be ivacuated on Sunday morning at 7.00AM. It was not clear to us if this bomb had been found earlier than our holiday, and therefore whether we could have chosen another hotel, but as a result no breakfast was availiable, and Milan although lovely, was not where we wanted to be at 7.00AM on Sunday morning. We had a difficult experience in negotiating a reduction of our B & B fee because of the lack of a breakfast on the Sunday morning

The breakfast offered was very tastey. The one problem was that there seemed to be bugs in the room or the bed and both myself and my friend were bit in the most annoying areas (in the back waist where your belt goes, on the wrist, on the finger, etc)while sleeping.

We stayed the hotel twice during our travel. The first visit was OK. But when we were back to the hotel a week later, a single room at Euro115/night was ready for us. We booked a double room at Euro155/night, but we couldn't change the room as the hotel was fully booked. And what is worse, they still tried to charge us Euro155/night for the single room. Anyway the hotel is located near the Central station and is very convenient to take a train early in the morning.

I stayed this hotel with my family including 0, 3 and 6 years-old children. This hotel was very near from the station for us, it took 5 min. Room was clean and comfortable for our children. The breakfast room was small, but the staff was very kind for us, thank you!

At checkout the hotel demanded cash payment (instead of the credit card I used to book the reservation; they did the same with the other folks checking out so it wasn't just me), which was odd. Overall the hotel is fine if you just need a place to sleep. Conveniently close to train station.
