For the money we paid I was very impressed with the Hotel. It is however situated in the red light district which we were not advised about & as a group of girls only this could prove a problem. It did not affect our stay however & I found the rooms & staff at the hotel very good.

it was before very good before but sinds our last visit, the rooms weren't so cleaned and the old part of the hotel is terrible old. the showers are really in bad state. the beds were from 20 years old and the isolation between rooms doesn't exist. you hears all the sexual parties of your neighbours. it was the funny part of our night. the price has increase of 50 euro for less quality that before. my reservation was forgotten. could be that the hotel has change the manager. hope that they understand and change the service as soon as possible

A cheap and proper hotel. The quality is better than the price indicate. Location is near the tram, so it is easy the reach what you want to see in Milano. And the hotel has it´s own closed parkingarea! We enjoyded also the nice service at breakfast in the little garden.

The staff was very diverse, some people spoke perfect English and Italian and some neither. the rooms were fine, not very big but clean and nice looking. They have AC and free Wifi if requested at the front desk. Breakfast is included but there is not much variety. The surrounding area is very quiet, but there is not much to do. to go to the city center you can walk (30-40min) or take the tram n.12. Overall its a nice place to stay if you are looking for a cheap nice room.

The tram drives you directly to the Duomo Piazza, and the tram stop is very near the hotel. A taxi from Central Station costs about €12.The staff is friendly and the rooms are spacious and clean, but the breakfast is a little poor.

i strongly recommend that don't book this hotel. first, when we walked into the room, there was some luggages, then they eventually change other room for us after our requests. Also, the door of the bathroom can not be closed and the air conditioning did not work and there was only one channel on TV. furthermore, the female staff who can fluent english are not cooperative.

Room was good although the floor could have used some cleaning. My socks got pretty dusty! We had a terrible time locating the hotel from the directions we had received, perhaps because Milan was a much bigger city than we had expected. We appreciated the tourist suggestions offered us and especially the ideas from Kat who worked in the breakfast room. Breakfast improved considerably after we complained about the lack of offerings the first day. Overall a positive experience. Please fix the elevator!

Over all the stay at Hotel Bogart was alright, rooms were very clean, everything you really need. Reception does not speak any English! Which had really tested my Italian, the gentleman does however speak good German! Walls are paper thin so you do hear everything! Never ate breakfast as there was no one there! Not to far from the city centre, a 15min walk to the bus stop or 10min to tram stop. Would stay again, with ear plugs handy!

Hotel was immaculate. Friendly/welcoming staff. Ample sized clean bedroom with wardrobe, dressing-table & t.v. Comfortable bed & pillows. Ensuite shower & toilet was very clean, possibly brand new - room was small but functional. There are quite a few restaurants 5-10 minutes walk from the hotel. Via Cenisio is the main-road in the immediate area where you will find restaurants & bars...we tried a lovely restaurant named "Primo Gusto". The staff were friendly, the food delicious & if you struggle with the language, one of the staff speaks english. The "Irish Pub" in the same road had good atmosphere & is open until late. In order to reach the city centre, we used the number 12 tram, which was 5 minutes walk away. It took 20 minutes to reach the "Duomo" Trams are every 15 mins & are a good form of transport to use... tickets have to be purchased from a shop before your journey.

The hotel is in the process of expanding and updating. The staff was very welcoming and helped with dinner recommendations. Breakfast was a small but typical Italian buffet and included coffee made to order. It was a bit difficult to find the hotel due to some road construction and the lack of one bus line . We asked at the train/bus station and found a different route with little difficulty. We would stay here again.

We’ve really had a pleasant stay at Bogart Hotel. The staff was very friendly and helpful and top of that the Reception speaks English. The surrounding area was really quiet & not bad. The rooms weren’t spacious instead they were cozy & clean. The major drawback of the Hotel was the bathrooms were very small. The breakfast buffet was not that bad at all, all in all, we really recommend this Hotel…

Please NEVER stay in Bogart!!! 1) We tried to find it for more then 2 (!!!) hours!!! Finally only one Italian guy with GPS-navigation helped us and we could reach it! 2) Receptionist is the guy from the Ukrain :((((, he accomodated us in the room directly opposite the reception, in one meter! You can estimate the "comfort" of such accomodation. Moreover, the room amd bath were very dirty, untidy, sanitary engineering was rusty and in a very bad condition! 3) He said us where to park the car during the night, saying that it is the hotel's parking. And in the morning we obtained the penalty from the police for the improper car park!!! The director of the hotel even did not want to explain us how to pay it!!! Please, do not repeat our mistake and keep yourself from visiting this hotel!!! :(((

We'd read in our "Rough Guide" that if you found an inexpensive hotel in Milan, it was likely to be in a red light district; and there did seem to be an awful lot of extremely attractive young ladies waiting at or near to bus stops when we arrived (which was about 1 a.m. and the Hotel staff were still there, still helpful, and still cheerful!). The map on Venere was dreadful - the hotel were very helpful on the six or so times that I had to phone them - but we got there in the end. In fact, I enjoyed driving round Milan in the pouring rain so much that I've bought a GPS for use next time we go back! There was a transport strike the next day, so we walked into Milan centre - it took about 35 minutes and was a very pleasant amble. The breakfast wasn't up to much, but all the staff were extremely helpful. We had to check out at an ungodly hour in order to get back to the airport; again, the staff were at the reception desk - we offered to pay before we went to bed the previous evening, but they assured us that they would be on duty at 4.00 a.m. when we left, and they were; our bill was already prepared and we were able to pay by credit card or cash - something we found most night staff aren't allowed to deal with in Italy. We had a room right by the entrance and I didn't notice any noise. All in all, I'd be quite happy to stay here again if we decide to stay in the city next time. As a hotel for the airport, it's fine if you're driving. But the bus and train services to Malpensa only run during the daytime; and a taxi to the airport would, literally, have cost me more than a week's car rental.

The first time we had a big room and the tv has international channels but the second time a tiny one. The double bed is two twin beds together, not my ideal. The second time they started some reparations at 8:30 am just in our floor and the room next door so we had to wake up compulsory. Some rooms are right in the entrance, so is not a very quiet place, ie. reception phone conversations, door bell... and from the ones on the second floor you can hear it too. Breakfast is fine, coffee or tea, cereals, toast and some times croissants. You can park on the street. If you go to this hotel visit the restaurant Mirabianca( or something similar) in Via Mac Maon.Just two blocks down and to the left. Try risotto mare e monti.Delicious!!!!

we had a room that could not be locked from the outside...the key didn't work properly. So we felt a little uncomfortable by that, but it was opposite the reception and there was (almost) always someone there to keep an eye on our door and nobody could just enter the hotel, so that was ok. The staff was very helpfull whenever asked anything, though English was sometimes a small problem. But overall it is a fine hotel for the price and there are 2 trams nearby that go to the center of Milaan and the bus to Malpensa stops near as well (convenient to know beforehand; stops at Fiera, 10-15min walk to hotel). And we found some nice restaurants near the hotel as well.

Accurate representation of hotel. Front desk was understanding, kind and very helpful. Good value. Not a great neighborhood for nighttime, and somewhat distant from sites (but that makes it a little quieter, which is good). Since I needed to go to Malpensa Airport next morning, this was not a good choice--I would have been better off staying at Malpensa, or even in Como. However, the hotel was clean, comfortable, value-priced, and the staff were extremely understanding. They made sure we had the early morning taxi we needed and allowed us to use their internet services to check flights.

I had read other positive comments on Venere.com about this hotel but when I got there I couldn't believe it!!! It was a small family hotel, in a quiet neighbourhood, very close to the centre and the metro (around 15 minutes by tram) and most of all, it had a great breakfast in a nice breakfast room as shown in the pictures and room service every day!!! And all these for only 65 euros /night in a "high" season for Milan(October)...!! For a double room with private bathroom and all comforts, something not offered by many hotels in Milan..I think it's a perfect combination! The staff friendly, speaking English and really love this job! Me and my girlfriend had a very pleasant stay! I would recommend it without second thought!
