Hotel Berlino - Milan

My overall opinion of the hotel is good. The staff is very helpful and speaks English very well. The hotel should change something in serving breakfast as it is very monotonous. Each day you have eggs, cheese, some cold meat or jam. No vegetables nor salads. The rooms are ok but the walls are so thin that you hear the conversation of other guests of the hotel. The hotel is located close to the communication track (trams, buses) so it is very simple to get to the center of Milan; however, the journey takes about 30 minutes.

Hotel Berlino is an excellent budget hotel in Milano. The room was exactly identical to the one on the photos, small but very clean, everything was new and welcoming. Bathroom Free wireless internet as advertised was available. Breakfast was fine. Perhaps the only downside was that the walls are quite thin and you can hear the people in the next room but not too bad. Overall definitely a must go, you will not be disappointed, I know we were not.

Unbelievably accommodating staff. I will return here without a doubt.

The hotel is secure. You have free internet. Breakfast is super. The staff were helpful and friendly. Located close to beautiful area.

Hotel should provide clear direction of how to get to hotel from train station (eg . What number bus or tram to take)

the recepcionist were very helpful and nice. the wifi didn't work in pur computers the noise of other rooms some times is very hard the breakfast coffee was very very good!!! Congratulations!

Great hotel, modern, very good breakfast, friendly staff and very good service. In close proximity to the Metro. Parking costs 18 € per night, internet is free and fast.

It's a great hotel! The rooms are very nice, very clean.. The hotel have a good location, on a principal street. The breakfast is very good and you can choose anything you want. Great to relax and enjoy the stay there.

its across the street from a cute little cafe. it was a great room. most of the staff is nice and speak english. there was one staff memeber who seemed peaved when i asked him questions, otherwise everyone else was nice. breakfast was decent. just usual run-of-the-mill stuff, but really good coffee. close to a bus stop and tram stop that can take you to central station.

not comfortable if you need for exhibition new expo center Milano Rho far from underground

We arrived a bit late - 20:45 , the man on the desk was not warmly accommodating . NO internet access for 3 days , they do not even bothered about customer's services . Very far from City Center ( 20-25 munites on the Bus or Tram ) . This is the worst Best Western Hotel we ever been . Our last night was aweful - group of young guests were shouting , talking & laughing so loudly and the Desk Officer didn't bother to stop them - it was about 02:00 hours .

At first I thought the hotel was bad located because I payed 25 Euros from Central Station by cab. After checking in I went for a walk and saw a Rinascenti shop and a good supermarket very close and also a "treni fermatta" around the corner. From these stop to the Duomo it costs only 1 euro. The hotel room is good with a modern LCD Tv, reasonable breakfast and the staff very helpful especially the host, who was born in Chile, Mr.Rodriguez. Good restaurants can be found in walk-distance. My suggestion: "Antico Imperio".

In whole the hotel is quite good. There is one big negative item - very noisily. You should get up early in Milano! ;-)

We stayed for 3 nights. The quality of the room was very good; up to general Best Western Standards with proper good-sized Bathroom, decent beds, clean room, TV etc. The location is a bit far from the centre but with trams very near and with plenty good restaurants around for dinner. The only serious complaint is how noisy the room was; you could hear every activity on the room above and was right next to the street with noisy garbage lorries, etc. But overall I recommended it, especially for the price vs quality issue.

Not centrally located, but only a 15 min tram ride (1euro) into the city center (duomo). We got a great rate too, about half the cost of an eqivalent room in the city.

They have been also to Berlin and, not only for the same used Green predominant color, he is not at all dissimilar to the prototype. Comfortable, precise, ordered, personal to the height and much professional one. The assigned category does not render it justice.

I have been charged of extra money on my credit card few days after but without autorization and proves. The hotel management said that I have stoled a small and not worth object in my room but without autorization and proves. I' don't know nothing about this. Incorrect and poor.

Bon hotel bon rapport qualité/prix, un peu excentré (mais tout de même bien desservi par les transports en commun) mais personnel désagréable...

Buonissimo rapporto prezzo/location ... Hotel che rispetta la descrizione del sito, camere uguali alla foto... silenzioso e in una buona posizione... parcheggio facilmente trovabile nelle vicinanze dell'Hotel. Sicuramente ci ritornerò... SUPER consigliato!

Insgesamt waren wir zufrieden. Durch das Sonderangebot stimmte Preis / Leistung auf jeden Fall. Die Matrazen waren allerdings schon sehr durchgelegen. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit!

We had a bad welcoming, because they informed us bad how to find the Hotel; the Shuttlebus from the Milano fair to the hotel was already gone. Than the hotel only had a smoking romm for us, instead non-smoking. The confirmation was made non-smoking because of Asthma. We became very bad support to find an solution. While the Hotel made a confirmation of a non-smoking room we made clear we don't accept anything else. The hotel confirmed to have been mistaken. Someone did not checkout!! at the end we became another room that didnot smell and was less smoky.

Hotel ben posizionato vicinissimo alle fermate per la fiera e per il centro città. Camera con rumore notturno costante non identificabile. La camera non è stata spolverata per due giorni. Quando ho chiesto di avere un depliant con i prezzi il receptionist mi ha risposto che non ne hanno e che se desidero conoscere i prezzi posso chiamare di tanto in tanto l'hotel. Molto strano.

horrible experience. Never again! Customer service was non-existant. No heater and lots of noise. Not worth for the price paid

I was really surprised how clean and nice the hotel was. Very kind staff. Rooms are very small but for a two day trip ok. Unfortunately you can hear every word that is spoken in the room next door. Overall it was a great trip. The hotel is located nearby the center. It takes about 15 minutes to get there by tram.

My boyfriend and me we spent New Year's Eve in Milan at BErlino Hotel,the people at the front desk were helpul,I was happy that everybody spoke English since we did not speak Italian.The room was clean,breakfast was excellent.The only thing I did not like that the front desk people did not know exactly the public transportation,grocery stores around the hotel.

Just for staying over night, between the days sightseeing, it was very good. A poor thing was that it was not possible to do a simple thing as charge the mobile phone. The automatic fuses did not manage this and turned off the power for the whole floor. Some neighbours become upset.

Rapporto qualita'/prezzo a dir poco ottimo; unico la distanza dalle fermate della metro.

We booked the rooms for our fair stay therefore we used the rooms only for sleeping and enyoing our brekfast. The hotel is OK it corresponded exactly according the description in the venere page. We enyojed the friendliness of the stuff in the entrance.

I've loved the way we have been treated during our stay, everybody have been kind and always avayable, but i believe is far to expensive for space and qualityof the rooms

good price/quality rate. everything was fine but some noise because of plumbing problems...the first night. second night perfect. i did book a double room by venere but i received a twin room! venere should book the right room !!!

For the price we paid for our stay, which was E60 per night, the hotel is an excellent choice. However, it is quite far from the downtown and we did not find convenient public transportation. The closest metro station is about 20 min walk, but maybe the train stop is somewhere closer. The room was good as well as the breakfast. It is not a bad choice for budget traveler.
