reception Hotel Astrid reception Hotel Astrid is a comfortable property situated in a quiet street in the centre of Milan, just 100 metres from the Loreto subway station, not far from the central railway station.

The property is only a stone's throw away from Corso Buenos Aires, one of Milan's largest shopping streets.

The hotel is a converted private house dating back to the late 1800's and has been completely renovated in November 2003.

It boasts brightly lit and finely furnished interiors and rooms, a 24-hour bar and a private garden.

The lovely, spacious room for three adults was clean, well lit, and had been recently renovated in very good taste. Excellent bathroom, with a small shower. Staff showed immediate attention to themostat beeping caused by a low battery. Pillows were too hard and flat. Great cappicino, juice, cakes and yogurt selection. Our room had a large window that opened to a lovely courtyard surrounded by other well kept buildings. This hotel is close and easy to find from the Metro station. Walk to shops, resturants, and a great little brew house, Birrificio Lambrate at Via Adelchi 5, Milan. Much better than a two star!!

Hotel jest ma³y ale pokoje czyste, œniadanka ma³e, byliœmy w ch³odne dni i by³o naprawdê bardzo ciep³o, blisko do metra stacja Loreto(uwaga ¹ dwie stacje na zielonej i czerwonej trasie)chyba 4 min na piechotkê. NIce, clean, not expensive, close to metro.

The hotel did not provide water during breakfast and would like to charge us for water which is radiculous. The attitude of one of the employee is extremely impolite (younger sister of the person in charge).

Nice place for a good price. A good 6 blocks away from the closest metro. The staff speaks very little english. No CNN or BBC though. Overall it was plesant!

How to reach Hotel Astrid

By car
Once you reach Milano's city-centre, follow directions to the Stazione Centrale. From the station, turn left into viale Brianza until you reach piazzale Loreto. From here, turn right into via Porpora and you will find via Lulli situated on your right after around 250 metres.

By train
From Milano's Stazione Centrale, take the green subway line towards Gobba-Gessate and get off two stops later at the Loreto stop, only 100 metres from the hotel.

By airplane
Linate Airport is situated only 6 km from the hotel, while the Malpensa Airport is about 50 km away. Both airports are well connected to the Stazione Centrale.
