It was great to stay at this hotel (3 days - 2 nights)! We were in Milan for Madonna's concert! The price was ok and Natalia (the reception girl) very friendly when we arrived! Also Morena (the other reception girl) was very kind! We had to wake up very early (actually we woke her up) but she was still with a smile on her face! We had clean towels everyday and bed linen, we didn't have the chance to try breakfast, because of the time we woke up, the air condition was well operating, the room was nice and quite, and never have felt so nice before in any other hotel we have stayed, during holidays. Natalia was giving us, all the information we needed and she was always smiling!A warm hug from her when we departed, was a pleasant surprise! Like leaving a friendly home... For young, fun and pleasant people, this is the ideal hotel! Close to Metro station Loreto (direct line to Lotto metro station for San Siro) and Corso Buenos Aires! We would definitely visit the same hotel next time we will be in Milan!

The breakfast was just some old croissants, black coffee, juice and marmelades. The noise from the roads and the other floors was unacceptable. Also there wasn't ascenseur. The good news is that the staff was very helpful.

The room was a bit cold, internet was not free and breakfast was too "plastic/artificial" (e.g.: shrink-wrapped croissant and other cookies/cakes, but no "real" bakery stuff) but other than that, it was just perfect for our journey. Clean room, bakery nearby ;), metro station within about 5 minutes. So for visiting Milan, Hotel Astrid is just a perfect place to stay. Thanks ;).

We took our breakfast early in the morning. It is not what you get for breakfast as how you get it tha disturbed us very much. We got breakfast from the girls from the reception while they were sleeping. Breakfast hours is from 7.30-10.30. We ate breakfast at 8.30-9.00 everyday. The girls probably have there bed close to the dining room and when they hear that someone comes they come up from bed exacly how the are..with pyjamas and the hair up and down. We felt a little bit weard getting breakfast from someone like that. they where half sleeping serving us. English is also not there best side. What was good with the hotel is that it was close to the metro loreto. very close to stazione centrale. The room was not so clean as we hope for. The shower is so tight that my husband could not fit in good. Very dirty also.

The lovely, spacious room for three adults was clean, well lit, and had been recently renovated in very good taste. Excellent bathroom, with a small shower. Staff showed immediate attention to themostat beeping caused by a low battery. Pillows were too hard and flat. Great cappicino, juice, cakes and yogurt selection. Our room had a large window that opened to a lovely courtyard surrounded by other well kept buildings. This hotel is close and easy to find from the Metro station. Walk to shops, resturants, and a great little brew house, Birrificio Lambrate at Via Adelchi 5, Milan. Much better than a two star!!

The hotel did not provide water during breakfast and would like to charge us for water which is radiculous. The attitude of one of the employee is extremely impolite (younger sister of the person in charge).
