Hotel Astoria - Milan

This is our second stay at the Hotel Astoria and will recommend it to relatives and friends.

Good service despite the fact I had made reservation for a double bed, we got a twin one. Most of the service was very friendly (except a lady at the desk) unfortunately, the surroundings of the hotel are a bit modest but easily accessible to the centre (Il Duomo).

El hotel está bien, tiene una relación calidad/precio aceptable, pero la parada de metro más cercana está a 10-15 minutos andando. El desayuno está muy bien si está incluido en el precio.

Very good service, clean and pleasant, but poorly located

Nice place, near San Siro stadium

Great place to stay for a good price. Employees are very king and helpful, rooms are clean and breakfast is good. Maybe just a little far from the nearest subway station.

Overall it was a nice trip (ecxept the weather - very rainy) The hotel was nearly perfect (price/quality was very good). Breakfast was good but we had to ask for some food especially meat was very rare. With the subway you got everywhere you want. So very nice City and Hotel!

To be honest, when i enquired by phone about the hotel location to the stadium a woman answered and she was extremely ignorant. Not exactly a good way to promote the hotel. After i arrived i asked for help from someone to weigh a small package for me in advance of going to the post office as post offices in italy are always crowded. A helpful waitress approached a woman manager, i then heard the same voice as i had talked to previously on the phone. same woman. She was very dismissive and again very ignorant. Overall, I found a bad attitude among senior personnel and based on this and the unhelpful attitude overall, I would neither stay here again and never recommend it to anyone. As for the location, 10 minutes from the san siro ? that is a joke, 10 minutes by car - maybe. Walking at least 20 - 25 minutes. I chose the hotel primarily as it was supposed to be only 10 minutes "walking" and it was a best western. frankly, i wuld rather pay more, go elsewhere further from the stadium and receive a more pleasant attitude. Never again ! ! !

Buon hotel, vicino ai collegamenti pubblici, le camere non sono tanto spaziose, ma funzionali. Ottimo punto di snodo per una vacanza e/o lavoro. Buona la colazione

Relatively good value and convenient location

This was by no means at all a 4 star hotel i would not even give it 2 stars to be honest, the room was tiny and the walls must have been made from paper because you could hear everything from the next room from the person snoring so loud i am surprised their head didn't explode to the bloody screaming school girls that followed that guest, if you are a light sleeper then this is not the hotel for you and it is not located near anything to do and the metro in s good distance away.... the staff were somewhat helpful but when i asked one to find something out for me, she told me she would leave the info in my room key holder but when she could not find the info she did not even bother telling me so i had to ask ..... so please spend that little extra and look for a hotel near the city centre would be my advice to you ......

Business trip for an exhibition at the RHO Fiera Milano. 3 nights.

GREAT !! Proprio come ce lo aspettavamo. Servizio e prezzo eccellente. Eccellente anche la tariffa del garage convenzionato. A 10 minuti a piedi dallo stadio S.Siro, dove la ROMA HA CONQUISTATO LA SUPERCOPPA ! Che dire: Eccellente l'Hotel, eccellente la Roma... TRASFERTA PERFETTA GRAZIE A VENERE.COM !

Cosy hotel, near the center of Milano, good price for this standard

Very good price/quality relationship, very quiet although on a busy road, 10 minutes walk from underground,tram in front, good breakfast, especially for Italy!

The breakfast was in whole volume only one day on Friday mornig during our stay. We didn't understand why.

Astoria and the group it belong to, Best Western, which I know very well for having stayed in some of the group's hotels in other country as well as my personal knowledge of the group back home to Denmark with which I entertain professionel relationship is as to say, GOOD LEVEL hotel for same kind of clientele; Bit higher then medium. Except, due to the purpose of my stay in Milan, that location is not very interesting. The major and only, I guess, reason I wouldn't return to the property is it's LOCATION.

The hotel is quite Ok for spending some days in Milan, but be aware, parking your car is a pain! Hotel doesn't have a parking place, you have to park your car in some hundred meters from the hotel, in a "terribly looking" garage! Very inconvenient, and makes you feel unsafe, leaving your car and the keys on a place like that.

For personal information we asked what our room would cost during the Euroluce fair next year in April the answer was very disappointed because we've paid €89 and the price will be €300 in April in The Netherlands this is like robbing I know that the demand is high but this is too much Sincerely yours Mariette Buck

It is a good hotel. The room was more than okay. Car parking is not at the hotel, about 300m away, accross the main road, and expensive. We found a public parking lot nearby (lucky!). Good connections to the city. Even the tube is almost 15min away by feed (incl traffic lights). We will shoose the hotel again when we are in Milano.

It seems to be a 3 stars hotel. Good price if it don't get over 90 euro. The room was small, the bathroom need to be updated. The breakfast is poor on variety, but enough if you are in a hurry. You can find better 3 stars and nearest the underground. Good if you don't find something elsewhere.

Tutto come descritto, solo la metro è un po lontana....

The staff working at the desk is not professional. I ask to go for 2 minutes with a college of the company to my room and they answered in an awful way NO. I understand the rules I do not understand bad education. I will never come back again. All already inform my company and no one of our visitors or internal accomodation will be booking in this hotel.

Pity, there's no parking....

In general was very good.

Please use the parking service (5 euros per day). Our car was stolen at night, just around the corner of the hotel, two weeks ago, and it has not been recovered yet (and the car was old, not new model...). Breakfast some days lacked food: bread, cheese and ham was a lottery.

Hotel Astoria is a great value, excellent service, staff and breakfast. Location is close to tram (street car) and 5 blocks from metro (subway). Once street repairs are finished on Via Murillo, the surroundings will be even better. Hotel is walking distance to San Siro stadium for football fans, and there are restaurants and supermarkets within walking distance of the hotel.

Negatives: Breakfast "service" was awful Hotel was a bit of a distance from city centre Positives: Very near direct tram line to centre Clean and all facilities perfect Staff helpful with info and booking taxi's etc. Very efficient hotel

Nice service, nice price, the hotel is far away from the centre of the city and the metro station too. I had the car and I am moved easily why the "peripherique" are near the hotel

We had a wonderful time and enjoined Mailand, the soccer game and the famous Stadium of J.Meazza. The Wine and the food and the special live style of the Italian People.

Buon albergo e ottimo prezzo. Unico neo, a causa della tariffa scontata si sono rifiutati di accreditarmi miglia alitalia nonostante la promozione in corso da parte di Best Western non preveda limitazioni in tal senso. Personale alle reception non proprio simpatico, ma fa il suo lavoro. Ampio parcheggio non custodito (sul largo marciapiede di fronte all'albergo). Presente servizio wireless offerto da Swisscom (e quindi carissimo).

Good value for money. The hotel is next to a busy street but but three layers of double glazing kept most of the noice out.

E' stata una bella sorpresa questo Astoria davvero. ho avuto un bel soggiorno e ho pagato pochissimo. Rapporto qualita' prezzo eccellente almeno per l'offerta che ho trovato io. Hotel pulito , bel servizio, colazione buona.

Nice hotel of high quality which can be recommended for business trips as well as for your holidays. But check the rates before booking, because the prices are highly variable!

We paid an average of 60 euros per night for 5 days and had a very pleasant stay. By bus or metro it's just about 15 minutes from the centre. 3 restaurants and a supermarket just around the corner and a cafe at the other corner. Perfect place for a short stay in Milano!

Beautiful hotel near fiera;easy to find whit car, parking front to the hotel.

It nis a nice hotel with an excellent location. Easy to be reached by car. There is enough space on the street to park the car. Easy access to the center of the city by underground. What we've found is what we've expected from a hotel from the Best western chain. Very good value for money!

We have been working on the fiera as standbuilder and for this reason hotel astoria was excellent. only, then price diference from building up (80euro) and building down (180euro) was from my point of view to big. I was informed about the difference, thats why I ratet the prices quoting as ok.

It is really expensive...

Although the location area is not bad the hotel surroundings are unpleasent. Reception personnel should be kinder

For visiting Milan Fair hotel was well sited within walking distance from exhibition.
