You should have the courtins in the bath. As to avoid weting of all the bath area one is constrained to sit down during the shower taking. This position is denger for the elder people with spine problems, as well as disgusting from the personal higiene point of view... The more, you have no alarm signalisation from bath to the desk, to be used in case of the very often in the world, so called "bath accidents"!!!!! Instructions for fire accident poor copied and practicaly illegible !!!! No reserve blanket in case of people used to slip with open window even in the winter.

The air conditioner in my room (#113) made an awful lot of noise every time it clicked on. The room was still stuffy and warm when the air conditioner reached its maximum even though to be fair, the room temperature was not as hot as it was outdoors. However, I knew I could never sleep with such a racket and preferred to turn it off and open the window. Fortunately by midnight the temperature outside had cooled down enough for me to be able to fall asleep. I did report the faulty air conditioner to one of the staff when I checked in at 18:30 p.m. but was told when I returned from dinner at 22:00 that there was nothing that could be done about it at such a late hour and there were no other single rooms available. If the air conditioner had worked properly I would certainly give this hotel a very good rating. My travel companion had a room where the air conditioner was working properly and the room was sufficiently cool. He was quite satisfied with the overall experience. Since cleanliness is high on my priority list, I must say that the room was very clean. Also I appreciated the good coffee at breakfast. The location from train station was excellent but I also noticed a lot of other hotels close by that I could have chosen as well. It was not convenient for me to have to go down to the lobby with my laptop for internet connection and I felt that the cost (1 Euro for 15 minutes) quite expensive.

Value for money ok localization close train central station and metro/uderground The toilet in the room is slightly strange - the shower area and the toilet bowl were side by side, so when you shower, the entire place gets wet. the staff was a little rude/indiferent

Hotel Amadeus is a very nice hotel perfectly located within a few minutes walking from Milano Centrale. All the buses, Metro and trams needed for travel in the city are at the station. The air-conditioning was very good. The hotel staff speaks English and is very helpful. The area is safe at night. There is an internet point around the corner. The clientele seemed very civilized. Wifi is available [extra] only in the lobby. Via Buenos Aires is only a short walk away and very good restaurants are to be found past this street [Via Plinio] and beyond in this zone.

The hotel is located very very close to the Milano Centrale railway station. That's a plus point. The toilet in the room was slightly strange - the shower area and the toilet bowl were side by side, so when you shower, the entire place gets wet. the staff was a little rude when we forgot to place our keys at the front desk when we went out. one of our cheapest hotels during our 2 week honeymoon in Italy.

I booked one night, the day my flight arrived. During my stay the front desk staff was very helpful. Because of them, I booked again at the hotel the night before my return flight. The hotel breakfast area is at times too small to accomodate the guests. However the breakfast servers worked very hard and were most accommodating. The location is excellent for access to the train station and shuttle bus service to the airport. I will stay again and have recommended this hotel.

Pros: location is excellent, just a minute away you have central station with train and metro access to go around milano. inside the station there's also a supermarket if you ever need it. the room (single) is quite spacious and the service I received from the staff was good (3 different people, at different times). breakfast included in the price (although not the greatest you can get). cons: no wifi in the room, even if you want to pay for it. only available in the lobby (i think it's a signal strength issue), but when I purchased time, it didn't work (staff refunded me without a problem). the shower will wet everything in the bathroom as it has no doors/curtains, tv has only italian channels (i do understand italian).

Extremely tiny rooms (stayed in single room). However friends double room was not much bigger. Bathroom was ridiculously small. Having a shower floods the room - no curtains are installed in the bathroom. Air Condition controlled by the reception desk which sometimes forgets to start it or forgets to switch it off resulting in freezing or sweaty nights. The only good thing is that it is very close to the stazione centrale - however I am sure you can find another better hotel near the station (check starhotels).

The room I stayed in was the same size as a broom cupboard. The bathroom was inadequate with the smallest shower, no shower curtain or door so that the water sprayed straight into the toilet! The hair dryer was faulty and the whole electricity shorted out. Pitiful!

I booked a double room at the Amadeus, however upon arrival it was clear that the room was made for single use. The bed was smaller than a double but slightly larger than a single, there was one pillow on the bed. Also there was just one towel in the bathroom. The receptionist insisted it was a double room, but agreed to give me an extra pillow and towel! The shower room was tiny and the shower had no curtain. There is carpet on the first 2 floors of this hotel but the other floors have concrete flooring on stairs and concrete walls. The location is very good, directly beside Milano Centrale train station. We satyed there as we needed to catch an early morning train but I would never stay in this hotel again. Definitely overpriced for what you get.

Well,i was there in Milan the 2nd time...I am there for a weekend vacation coz of my fiance. The employees are very accomodating. Amadeus Hotel is a middle class Hotel where you can stay...The only problem is no internet connection in the room itself & it is quite expensive to have access in internet 3€ per hour & you have to go down near the information. Anyway,i had a great time spending my Valentine's weekend with the love of my life & this day is really special aside from the heart's day it is also the birthday of my Honey...

Went to this hotel. We had the worst room on the worst floor. The walls were dirty. The bathroom smelled funny and there was mold on the walls. The shower had nothing to do with the pictures. When we finnaly asked to be changed rooms, we were told it was too late and the hotel was full. The breaksfat the next morning was ridiculous and you can have only one hot beverage. Because everyone seemd happy at breakfast my sister went to look what the other floors looked liked, and they were much cleaner. So if you ever go there check the room first before checking in. I should maybe mention that my sister and I are black and maybe they thought we woud be less demanding, the second floor is really crappy. Was really disappointed, we paid 88 euros. The man at the desk was unhelpful and even indifferent. Would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

The Amadeus hotel was perfect for our stay in Milan. Althought it is not in the centre, the metro only took us 6 minutes to get there. The only issue I had with the hotel was that they confiscated my hair straightners as a fire hazard! I certainly don't remember seeing anything about that on any of the web pages and found that to be an annoyance.

If you are looking for somewhere to stay that is near the train station, reasonably clean and modestly priced, the Amadeus is a good deal. But don't expect anything more. Staff are cold and rude, rooms tiny and they turn the air conditioning off at 11pm so the room is stifling by the middle of the night. Definatly not the highlight of my trip. But it is only 5 minutes to the central station.

The hotel did not switch on air-con until June which make room very stuffy and when window was kept open for some air to flow, the noise from outside was unbearable. The carpet was untidy and wall socket for power connection was broken which made it impossible to use my laptop. The hotel staff was very un-cooperative to the point that they could not arrange breakfast at 7:00 a.m. against their standard time of 7:15 a.m. despite making a request. The bathroom was a cubicle and will become completely wet once you use the shower. All in all, I was not at all satisfied with my stay.

Hotel was ideally situated 2 mins from stazion centrale, however lacked general appeal. Decor was aged and the room facilities were below the standard expected for a 3 star establishment. Bathroom in need of renevation, it was hard to use the shower without flooding the entire room. Certainly not feasible for the larger person! If you are looking for a place to stay for the night without frills, then this is ideal. however I wouldn't recommend this if you are travelling with your partner as the overall decor and standard are poor.

Saluti!!!

Very convenient to the main station, staff were welcoming and informative. The room was entirely satisfactory. We would recommend it without qualification.

I travel through Milan a couple of times per year and have stayed at a number of hotels in the area of the train station. I don't believe that I will stay at any other hotels. Amadeus suited all my needs.

Saludos, y buen viaje

Amadeus is always a reliable choice. I've gone there 3 times and I'll go there again although I found a significant increase in price since a year and a half ago.

Very unfriendly and unhelpful front desk staff. Terrible bathroom. On major road and window not double glazing. We had bites on our bodies after our stay.

There are two problems with the hotel: The 1st is the bathroom (maybe only the room I had), which is one-step up with a free-standing shower that wets the entire bathroom. The 2nd is do not use any stairwell that has a door. If you do, you end up in the courtyard without a way out.

Quite good hotel in a central position, near the central railway station. It is perfect if you're looking for a place where to sleep and have breakfast while in the middle of a trip or in a shopping week end. rooms should all be non smoking, at the moment they're not, in fact mine was smoke smelling.

Room was very basic, overlooked rubbish bins in courtyard. Breakfast was good. Location near railway station felt unsafe.

If we were to return to Milano we would definitely use the Amadeus Hotel again as well as the services of Venere.
