I had a very confortable staying and the owners are very kind and ready to help you. This hotel is quite close to the Duomo cathedral, in the very centre of the town.

Very nice situation and price (for a big city center) BUT I would not advise anybody to stay there, better get a more expensive hotel or forget to be in the city center and get a cheap hotel and use the underground...

To be honest, I have to say, that we were shocked about the languageskills of the hotel employees. The communication was difficult and also not very friendly. The only toilett for all rooms smelled like old pee and the only shower was mouldy. In the evening our "host" invited his huge typical italian family, so sleeping was hard but we discover other things to do.

The host wanted to deceive us for 10 euros, there was no warm water in shower, everything was either broken or dirty. But the balcony was great and the weather was great! It was funny to stay there.

Great location, nice, helpful, friendly staff; not luxurious but needs are well met. Directions to hotel could be improved. Although not listed as available, we asked for two beds and got them (no extra charge).

Very good location close to the Duomo but a fairly basic room and hotel.

this was my first time in milano and I think that I made a good choice when I chose the hotel aliseo. ok it's a small hotel, but is very close to the city centre and it was clean and the staff were very kind!

Good location, but you must accept very low comfort standards to stay there. The highlight: kitchen and reception combined!!!

The building is very old and the room is dirty especially the shower which was a bit clogged. But the price is ok for the hotel which is really close to the center. I think it's good only for staying in 1 night but not longer.

Aliseo was an excellent budget hotel. We were greeted very kindly even though we came 3 hours after our scheduled check in time! They don't speak much english but with a Italian/English dictionary you should be able to ask for anything you need. The included breakfast is small but very nice. I would recommend Hotel Aliseo to anyone interested in a well priced hotel very close to the Duomo.

Perfect location; a simple walk to the duomo and park; no metro or bus tickets. The managers don't speak very much English, but are ready to try. Wrote them a note using an It-Eng trans book and he got the point. They were very accommodating.

Room was clean and quite big. Staff speaks hardly any English, but are quite helpful. Only complain I have is that it said in the comfirmation e-mail that the rooms are available any time after midday, and we arrived arount 12.30 pm. We were however told to wait until 2 pm until we could get in the room. The shared bathroom was clean if a bit small. Location is excellent, we walked there from Cadorna railway station in about 20 minutes and the Duomo is about 5 minutes walk from Aliseo. Excellent value for money in the centre of Milan, if you haven't got very high expectations and are just looking for a place to sleep in.

Satisfaits.

The place is run by a very nice Italian couple. There are no rooms whatsoever for the guests other than your own room: no lounges, restaurants, dining rooms. You get your breakfast served in your room, which is very nice and unusual, and you can have it at the hour that suits you.

As my first time in Milan, is a good place near the Metro Station and "centro historico"

We chose this hotel because of its proximity to the Duomo cathedral, downtown. The Aliseo hotel is family-run and the welcoming is quite warm, though simple. The room was clean and silent. Breakfast served in our room, as we requested. Reproductions of paintings hung everywhere. Nice to see. Given the good quality vs. price, we feel satisfied with this visit and could think to a possible return.

This was our third time to Italy, and we always stay in budget hotels. The location of the Hotel Aliseo was fine and the price was great. It was advertised as low budget so we did not expect a lot. But the hotel rooms and bathroom seemed dirty and the staff did not speak enough English to understand what we were asking about breakfast. The breakfast promised was nonexistant, the internet service promised was nonexistant, and you could not plug anything into your room, so I could not recharge my camera battery, even with my European plug. My husband and I are not picky, but we would not stay here again.

This hotel was terrible and of very poor quality. The bedroom and bathrooms were filthy and had not been cleaned for months. It smelled of cigarette smoke, even tho' there were no-smoking signs all over the hotel. The location is good, however, but due to the fact that the facility is decrepid, I would never ever stay here again.

Only the locattion, near the Duomo, is very good, but the installation are so poor, expecily for the price.
