Hotel 22 Marzo - Milan

Location really nice, close to the city center. Tram stop and bike rental very close to the hotel. Staff was very friendly and helpful every time we needed.

Had a wonderful stay with my wife. Room and surrounds were not lavish but the genuinely friendly staff made the stay a real pleasure. Really enjoyable to chat to the staff, they are such interesting individuals and are sincerely helpful. Every request we had about adding/subtracting beds, keeping/moving rooms was always met with a positive reply. I would happily stay again!

The hotel is clean and welcoming. People are kind and happy to informe and help. Some trafic noise -but recommended!

Rooms bad isolated, too much noise, every noises are hearded, but very good and clean towels, and clean bed linen.

Hotel staff is friendly, supportive and one feels welcomed. Breakfast offer was nice, better than expected. Hotel location is excellent. In our room the bathroom was without heating, which in winter is not very pleasant. It was cold also in the room, as the heating fan could only be switched on while in the room, and the radiator was too small. Rooms have very thin walls, thus one hears all caughing and showers from the neighboring rooms above and on the sides as if it happens in own room.

I staid in a triple room with three friends. It was spacious enough and very clean; It was cleaned every day. The stuff was very friendly and helpfull. They recommended us the places, where to go for a dinner. Each of these places were very nice and the food was excellent.

Hotel 22 Marzo was a decent small hotel, the staff were friendly and spoke good english. The room we stayed in was large and clean and good value for the price but it was a little bare and plain. The location is relatively convenient, its walkable to the centre but quite a long walk, however there are tram/bus stops right outside the hotel so it wasn't difficult to get around.

Very friendly and helpfull staff, great location 5 min tram journey from centre . Would definatly stay there again.

The room was quite small and dark but clean. Free internet and easy access to the city center with bus & trams. Staff was very friendly.

This was the best place to stay. The staff were friendly and patient. I felt safe there. My luggage was lost by British Airways, and the hotel staff liaised in Italian on my behalf and got it back that evening. The following morning, the owners father even drove me to the train station. Brilliant. Will definitely return ' great if you are needing a night in a small clean hotel for a budget traveller.

Really good and cheap hotel, the best I tried so far in Milano. Great service, free wireless internet in the room, good bathroom, kind and helpful staff speaking excellent english, good breakfast included. Very nice surroundings with good restaurants, shopping, church across the street, local small park etc. Lots of trams and busses just outside the door takes you to the city center (10 minutes) or Central Station (15 min, bus 60 takes you directly from the station to the hotel!). You can easily walk as well to Duomo for instance. Perfect!

Great hotel for 50 Euro incl breakfast 10min tram ride to centre 15min on bus60 to station -very clean room with aircon/ceiling fan/bidet/free use of PC even a shaving kit - very very friendly and has a good cheap and clean chineese around the corner.

I chose the hotel for the location and the good comments it had, and the price range. i wasn't disappointed in that, it was really clean. i certainly appreciated the airconditioning in this heat. the only negative point was the noise from the other rooms and corridor. i could hear everything going on and that is not nice when you have a couple of tourist next room watching tv and talking loud until around 3 in the morning...

Hotel 22 Marzo met our standards perfectly. We were looking for a reasonably priced stay near the centre of Milan with a personal touch. This was exactly what we got. The room was clean and nice and had everything we needed for our 4 day Milaan visit. The owner and his father were very helpfull and took well care of our nice breakfast each morning in the cosy reception/breakfast area. We can certainly recommend this nice, little hotel to you.

The hospitality of Michael and his father-in-law, Hector, who work at the front desk was the best in Italy. The local cuisine was excellent. The location was charming, with a convenient electric trolly at the front door within minutes of Milan's center. With Micheal and Hector at the controls, I highly recommend this quaint hotel.

Good location, not so close to center, but 15 or 20 minutes walking and very easy to get bus to the Central Station. The room was cleaned and the guy from reception desk was really great and gave us good tips about Milano. Very good breakfast.

Ideal location: about four minutes from the very centre of Milan by public transports (every three minutes!); both commercial and residential area. Employees are very kind and helpful. Good breakfast.

We stayed at Hotel 22 Marzo for 3 nights in early March. Our room and the communal dining area were simple and very clean. Michaele on the reception desk was extremely helpful in pointing us in the right direction for where to eat, what to do and how to get there. He really made our stay in Milan so much better with his helpful tips. The Duomo area of the city is only a short tram/bus ride away or approx. 15-20 walk. This is a good central point for everything you want in Milan. We found the public transport very easy to use and quite regular. We would definitely stay here again.
