Rude and unhelpful front desk, slow and bad service breakfast staff and expensive internet access. We reached the hotel from Venice at 3:30 P.M., and our room is not yet ready. When i finally get my room key at 4:30pm and pull my luggage to my room and oh gosh...the cleaning maid still preparing the room. We had to stand at the hallway and wait for another 10minute before i can finally lay down and rest at my own bed. when we ask the front desk "why the room is not yet ready even by 4:00pm?" He shrugged and said "The room is not yet ready." They don't even apology for what happened! In the next day, the cleaning maid walked into my parent room without knocking/calling, this is very rude and we feel unsafe. The breakfast is another nightmare, the breakfast staff avoiding eye contact and i waited half an hour to get my coffee served. And the internet access fee is very expensive which is 10 EURO per HOUR. This is unreasonable while other 4 star hotel provided it free of charge or with the cost of 5 Euro per day. This hotel is the worst in my trip of italy among all other 6 hotels, and is the worst hotel i ever stay. I do not recommend it to anyone.

Very good, predictably comfortable, modern, classically furnished, four star hotel in what turns out to be a great location. Easily accessible by metro, the station is just outside the hotel. A short walk to the Corso Como neighborhood, where you can find some great restaurants and bars. The rooms are very clean, comfortable, and furnished to a high standard. Bathrooms are excellent quality. The breakfast is excellent, with a very large choice (compared to most hotels in Italy.) You won't be surprised to see plenty of Airline crews staying here. I return to this hotel often. If you don't mind using the metro to get where you want to go, this is a great hotel. The room rates are very good for the quality of service provided.

We were very pleased about the hotel, the room and the huge breakfast buffet. However a little disappointing was the bathroom with the old fashioned shower. The tap in the bath did not work and the seat on the toilet was loose. In general a good place to stay!

We only stayed one night at the Atahotel but found it a wonderful faciilty. Had it not been for the rather snobbish front desk personnel when we checked in, the stay would have been perfect. The hotel appears to cater more to the business person - so perhaps because we just came from the train station and were dressed very casually we were not received well by the staff. The rooms are large, quiet and very clean. The breakfast buffet, included in the cost, was excellent with 3 stations full of everything imaginable! One hint - you need to call for a taxi at least 45 minutes prior to when you need it. They did not tell us this and we almost missed our flight!

The good thing of this hotel during the fair is that it's only a few steps from metro station and it's near my fevorite place, a concept store and restaurant called "Corso Como 10". The hotel rate is outrageous during the Furniture fair

This is a business hotel, not a tourist hotel. The rooms are spacious, the service is very professional, you really do get 4 stars of quality (although you need to pay for it). The only drawback of this is that my wife and I felt like we got odd looks because we weren't in suits and just took the Metro in. Being located right on the Metro (which is safe and expansive in Milan), you can get anywhere in the city within minutes. We went all over on the Metro. For Americans who expect an "American" style hotel (large room, large TV with many channels, big bed, large breakfast, etc.) or if your company is putting you up somewhere nice, this is the right hotel for you. If you're a tourist who is more interested in seeing the city, you may be better served somewhere else and save the money.

I came by 4:00 pm and my rooms wasnt ready !! i waited for half an hour for somone to be in the business center to assist me, and that was during regular business hours!! finally, i bought 5 houres internet voucher, and i only used half an hour and it stoped. The business center attendent only gave another half an hour, and this was all he can do!! so basically i 4 hours was trashed.

We had a double room which was very nice for two nights. On the down side, our air-conditioning did not work and it was very hot in the room. We asked for some fresh milk and not only got charged 3 Euro for the milk but another 3 Euro for the delivery! On the upside the staff were all very friendly and helpfull.

Lovely stay. fair price for the 4 star quality, especially considering other online deals we had seen. It would be extremely helpful to have a 'how to get there' from train/air/bus terminals on the website or even ont the confirmation email/txt. (it was easy once you know city a little, but when first arrive can be hard to find metro/bus info etc.) Poor and slightly dodgy surrounds at night but very easy metro to town and relatively easy distance to wander down to town.

Unfortunately, there is a bar/disco right behind the hotel, where on the weekends the noise level exposure to the rooms is uncomfortable at times. The rooms also need better noise insulation, there is no need to hear the shower or bathroom next door. The hotel staff is very helpful and efficient. The location of the hotel is perfect to local transportation. The hotel's business center does need an overhaul, but your are able to use the wireless internet access from Swisscom for EUR 22 for 24hrs in the lobby or in your room with good reliability.

During the furniture fair hotels in milan are allways expensive, thinking of this the relationship between price and quality was ok. The outside of the hotel is really ugly and old but inside is nice. And the garibaldi metro station is direktly in front of the hotel, thats very good.

This is **** hotel for its money. Nothing to complain about. If you use garage it will cost 25 more euro per day. Elevator heads you half way to the garage, then you have to take the pathway which goes on the same lane where cars drive. Hence with heavy laggage not much convenient.

An excellent stay, price and quality both extremely good. The only problem was the first night we were put into a twin room when we had ordered a double. They moved us the next day, and both rooms were excellent. Having said that, the staff were capable and friendly, the central location great, and the breakfast superb. We would definitely stay there again, and would recommend the hotel to our friends. (In fact we have already done so).

The Executive is a huge hotel catering for a wide audience of clientelle. Service on arrival is as to be expected for this kind of hotel - you are helped by a concierge and staff very helpful in giving directions and reserving facilities ahead. The hotel is surrounded by nightclubs (perfect for those who love night life), but music can be heard throughout the night if/when windows are opened for fresh air to the back. All other aspects of the hotel are as to be expected for this class of hotel. I will stay there again!

For the time of year I travelled I thought the price was very reasonable. The one problem I had was that the air conditioning had been shut down for the winter. The weather was very mild which meant sleeping with the windows open and with that the mosquitos! All in all though it was great value and brilliantly placed for Corso Como's restaurants and Garibaldi station. Also the buffet breakfast had an excellent selection.

The photographs did not do it justice. It has a great location - with a Metro stop on the corner. Staff were wonderful and the room had double windows so there was no street noise at all. We stayed there a second time we were so pleased.

My friend and I had a great stay at this hotel. We were fortunate to receive a comp upgrade from a standard room to a junior suite, which was a great room. I looked at a standard room as well and it was a little small and dark but the furnishings/bathroom were all solid 4 star. The building looks a bit soviet-style from the outside and the immediate vacinity is not very attractive (a little industrial-feeling), but this is outweighed by the positives: metro right outside the hotel, central station nearby and the corso como nightlife right next door (although you could not hear any noise from the hotel). However, it was hard to leave the hotel bar: one of the best in town - very styly with moorish flavour and nice quality clientele. You could enjoy this bar whatever your age. We were able to practice our Italian with all the beautiful Italian ladies. Hmmmm. Also, you could walk to the duomo in 20 minutes, if you are concerned about not being right in the centre. The architecture and atmosphere is best in the centre but hotel value for money is no where near as good as hotel executive: our room rate was only 99 euros, which was less than some of the 3 star hotels on this website - and I had a look at one of them while walking past - it was very average. While in Milan don't forget to take the lift to the top of the duomo - you can walk all over the roof, which was an unusual experience for such a monument. Be warned, at the time of this review the front of the duomo is covered in scaffolding, which was heart-wrenching to discover unprepared! For another good bar, try the Sheraton Diana hotel, and Cavalli cafe. And check out the Armani Exhange - there is a great trendy bar in the store (Nobu upstairs, cool club downstairs); while there the great man himself (ie. Georgio) hung out for a while - looking very silver-haired but hey, what a great tan.

The Executive is probably one of the best hotels in Milan. I stayed there 4 times already and it's always a pleasure. Nice rooms with everything, nice breakfast and very good staff. Underground is at 10 secs, nice restaurants in the surroundings and a wonderful place called the Corso Como 10 where you can find a lot of books, records, a photo gallery, a well known fashion shop (very trendy and expensive!) and even a good bar. Enjoy your stay!
