CHECK AVAILABILITY
The ADI Doria Grand Hotel is located near a metro station in the heart of the Milan business district, in a quiet tree-lined avenue with restricted traffic parallel to Corso Buenos Aires, one of the most important shopping streets in Europe, just twenty minutes from Linate airport and forty-five minutes from Milan Malpensa airport.

Just a stone's throw from the Centrale railway station, from the three Milanese underground lines and from the main tourist attractions, the hotel is an ideal choice both for those travelling on business and for those who want to spend a pleasant, relaxing and comfortable holiday.

Its Art Deco design, typical of the early 20th century, and the refinement of its decor details make this hotel particularly charming.

A roundtrip airport shuttle is available on request for an extra charge, as well as a garage parking.

Room taken too has no air conditioning Room was 82 degrees. Also no fan. Insisted on moving and moved to suite on fourth floor. Discounted 37 euro but paid extra 85 euro. New room had fan and a/c. This hotel is ancient. With electrical super old. Shower in suite was like a telephone booth Food in restaurant was excellent One checking agent got what customer service is. Some others were clueless. Would not stay there again

We were warmly welcomed by Massimo, who also gave us a great restaurant suggestion. The room was absolutely fine, comfortable bed, but Italy in general seems to prefer flat pillows! (I'm sure if we'd asked for more pillows we could have had them.) The location near the Central Station was perfect for our purposes, and it was only a 10-minute metro trip to The Last Supper and the center of Milan.

This is an excellent hotel, especially for the price. The room was gorgeous - spacious, clean and quiet with a lovely marble bathroom. The staff was very helpful. Breakfast was great with a wide variety of hot and cold foods. I had dinner there the first night and it was very good and reasonably priced (although I found the decor to be a little too formal for my taste). It is very easy to reach Central Station (a five-minute walk) and subways, so getting around was not a problem. The neighbourhood was not great for going out to dinner nearby. Several friends were staying at other hotels that were a lot more expensive and sounded as though they were not nearly as nice. I would highly recommend this hotel to almost anyone planning a trip to Milan.

This hotel has the feel of an old style grand hotel, at more reasonable prices. Rooms were beautifully maintained and decorated. Bathroom was spotless and spacious as was the room itself. The only criticism was that the room was too warm. We turned off the system and opened the window while out so that it would be a bit cooler to sleep. The room was incredibly quiet with new double glazed windows and blackout drapes for complete darkness. The staff was very helpful and responsive to every request from an extra pillow to resetting the room safe within minutes. There are a couple of good restaurants within walking distance, and the Caiazzo and Loreto metro stations near the hotel make getting to all of Milan very convenient. Would not hesitate to rebook at this hotel if Milan is in future travel plans

A nice hotel nearby Corso Buenos Aires with plenty of great shopping oppurtunities. Though it`s some distance, you may walk to the Duomo. We recommend travellers to try some of the restaurants in the sideroads along Corso Buenos Aires instead of those around the Duomo, better price, service and food.

The charge for internet service is 6 euros for 4 hrs. But, the hrs. must be continuous. For example, if you go on line at 5 pm, then again at 6 pm then again at 7 pm then again at 8 pm, etc you will pay 6 euros or approx $8.50 each time. The 'internet' room is so tiny that you can't turn around in it. Furthermore, the desk staff seems to be computer illiterate as they kept giving me passwords that did not work or were illegible on the piece of paper handed to me and after repeated attempts to seek help from the desk, they had to call 'a technician' who didn't know how to access the "@" (at) key. I ended up not getting on line to contact family and after complaining, had all the internet charges dropped from my bill.

We were there only one night as we were heading home the next day. Our room was a short walk to the train station which was why we chose it and it was also close enough to the Metro to get around town, even for our brief time in Milan. The room was spacious and we were happy to see it came with a safe. It also had a very strong shower - part of why we chose this hotel.

The Hotel is perfect! Big and so so cleaned... it's an international one! Great location also...just 200mts of two tube lines and one stop from the train station :) The only thing that was not clear when I booked my room, is that I understood that the credit card was only for security and then I found that the debit was done on it...but I think that it is not related with the hotel, just with the confirmation received from the web page...I recommend this hotel 100%!!!!

I was looking for a comfortable, quiet, safe hotel near the train station. This is it! It's a ten or fifteen-minute walk, or less if you go to the Caizzo metro stop. We got a very reasonable rate in August; otherwise, I would have given this an average (for Milan) price/quality rating.

Wonderful hotel experience - more than what my husband and I expected. Sometimes pictures on the internet are not necessarily what you'll see when you get there, but this time, we were pleasantly shocked at how much better the room was than what was on the internet. Also, the hotel was about 2 1/2 blocks from the shopping area which was very handy indeed. Also, the staff was very accommodating. On the last day, they allowed us to use the internet with no charge to print our boarding passes. I thought that was pretty classy.

One bad thing: Our phone didn't work and they kept telling us it must be the other end - 6 different numbers.... But those things happen. Other than that it was a fine hotel, squeaky clean, nice rooms, nice service, would greatly recommend it. Restaurant is very good but not great. It is convenient to the metro and three blocks to the train station. It's a long walk to the Duomo and city center but the metro is easy and it's a short trip from the hotel on that. My boyfriend and I started our week trip in Milan and only for 1 night. It was in a great location. VERY close to the main train station and in a safe area. The employees were especially welcoming and nice. The only thing I thought was even remotely negative, was that the rooms were alittle dated and small. But it didn't really matter because we only slept there. If you are looking for a clean, convenient, and not costly room - this is the place to stay!!!

We stayed as a group of 12 people to have fun in Milan for the weekend- the hotel was very good- close walking distance to the center, and approx. 10 min walk from the airport bus stop (Bergamo airport). Very good quality for the price- rooms are just fine for the hotel's **** rating, if maybe a little old-fashined. Everything was very clean, and a very satisfying breakfast is included in the price.

easy to reach from the railway stations (metro station Caiazzo), but when walking to the hotel don't follow the big hotel sign on a house roof since it leads you to the wrong street; excellent breakfast buffet, but be prepared to wait a couple of minutes for a free table during 'rush hours' in the breakfast room; tram line 1 brings you directly to La Scala, the Vittorio Emmanuele Gallery and the Quadrilatero Shopping Area. The hotel was full when we arrived so they upgraded us to a suite . for the same price we were quoted for a double . The straff was very friendly and helpfull. The included breakfast was more than expected. We stayed in many other hotels that charged 17 euro for much less . Hotel was near the metro , so getting around was easy . The hotel restaurant was closed the night we wanted to eat there so they recomended the Medeteranian Resuarant near by . It was great . We were only in Milan to see the Cathedral and make a side trip to lake Como ,so can't comment on much about Milan accept , don't eat or drink any where near the Cathedral. We were charged 17.5 euro [$27.65]for Two bottles of Becks beer. Overall a nice stay

Excellent location, close to Central station and air terminal to all three airports. Wonderful air conditioning, with individual control (not always taken for granted in Italian hotels). Stylish rooms with linen sheets and other luxury touches. Full size bathroom with tub (again, not usual in Italian hotels). Very good buffet breakfast. Would certainly return.

Quite acceptable for a not too expensive hotel. Close but not too much to the train station. AC was barely working.

I have never met such a sullen, unhelpful and unfriendly group of hotel staff- they behaved as if they thought the customers were a damn nuisance, and treated all guests with frank disdain. Many of the other guests were from overseas eg Japan, Saudi Arabia etc, and I hope they were not left with a poor general impression of European manners. Having just stayed in a lovely hotel in Switzerland, the contrast was astonishing. The rooms were quite nice, though bathrooms could have done with a bit of mildew control. Had the staff all been replaced with less misanthropic individuals, it might have been quite a good hotel.

Strange and very unusual ripoff: They charged for each pay TV program separately, which ended up in a high bill.

A great breakfast room and a great breakfast. Some of the best scrambled eggs I have ever had in my life. Great coffee and croissant too. Garage was tiny but great location.

Beautiful room, great breakfast and excellent price. However as hotel clerk was checking us into our requested king size bedroom which he said was available, the manager intervened quickly and said no such rooms were available and he would accomodate us with twin beds that slide into one. He made mention that we did not book directly thru hotel, therefore no guarantee the request could be fulfilled. It was quite obvious he was not happy we were paying such a great price for a good hotel.

Room was very nice, breakfast terrific. Only complaint was having to pay for wireless access in the room - hotels of quality typically offer this amenity.

This was my first trip to Milan and I selected the ADI Doria Grand Hotel based on the information from Trip Advisor. The feed back from previous visitors of Trip Advisor was absolutely correct. The hotel was very clean and the welcome friendly. The breakfast was first rate with a good selection. The room was nice but the decorations were a dark colour making it a little gloomy. The hotel was close to the train station with a Metro station about 200M away which was very convenient. The hotel location was a little far away from the attractions but this did not matter because of the metro link.Overall I was satisfied.

An excellent hotel, and very good value for money. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and we would definitely recommend the hotel to all our friends. We will return to Milan and definitely stay at the Doria Grand. The breakfast was very good with an excellent choice of fresh food. The day staff were very friendly and helpful. We even had a New Orleans Jazz Band on Thursday night which was of a very high standard. A wonderful stay.

It was an overnight stay preflight for Malpensa. The proprietors did not have a professional demeanor . The rooms were not ready at 3:30 PM. Recommendations for restaurants, taxi cabs, and airport transfer were with outfits whose posting for prices were not accurate or were not there. Still the rooms were clean and quite and well appointed.

A comfortable hotel with old world charm, yet not outdated. Comfortable bed and linens, marble bathroom with nice water fixtures and faucets. Warmly decorated room with beautiful window dressings and art work in the room. Great breakfast with attentive service.
