Hotel Lord Balfour - Miami Beach

The room i got was the exact one in the picture and it was great. The first room offered to me was a different one though and the mattress was a thin one that i did not want in that room. They need to get the good mattresses in all the rooms. Beautiful bar and lobby and clean and well stocked room!

The worst hotel I've ever been. Bella struttura, ma dato il trattamento che ci è stato riservato non posso che dare un voto negativo a tutto. Avevo prenotato due stanze, ma quando sono arrivata a fare il check in mi sono accorta che stavo firmando un foglio per una sola stanza al prezzo previsto per due. Appena me ne sono accorta ho chiesto spiegazioni. Mi hanno detto che si erano sbagliati e mi hanno fatto firmare un nuovo documento per il check in, due stanze al prezzo concordato. Al momento del pagamento ho scelto il cash (cretinaaa!) ed ho pagato quanto pattuito. Non mi sono accorta dell'addebito sulla mia carta di credito, che avevo lasciato al momento della prenotazione. Ho chiesto lo storno alla mia banca al ritorno in Italia, ma i titolari dell'albergo come giustificativo per quel pagamento, hanno prodotto il primo foglio da me firmato al check in. Stupida io, ma disonesti loro. Ho pagato per una stanzetta schifosa ben 135 euro più del dovuto. Statene alla larga.

First visit (23/3) dirty room, paint falling of moulded bathroom walls. Second visit (26-28/3)booked 3 months in advanced and confirmed 24/3. But when arrived no room because of overbooking. Staff at Wave hotel lied about rates at offered exchange hotell. Extremely unhelpful

The Hotel Wave was very disappointing, so that we decided to leave after the first night. We had arranged to be married in Miami and were excited after seeing the wonderful pictures of the hotel on the web page. But sadly this was not to be, the room which we had booked and which we had been charged for in advance was not a double Kingsize superior, more a small dirty shambles with a long list of complaints e.g. aircon defect (room was freezing), bathroom moldy and hairdryer was broken and hanging off the wall, large hole in carpet, bedding inadequate, no wardrobe for clothing, breakfast(if you were lucky!) etc, etc. In all a crap hotel the worst place we have ever stayed.
