Hotel Kent - Miami Beach

Fridge in the room was very noisy,my only complaint.

We had a room in front of the elevator door which was very noisy. Plus, during the weekend there were many noisy people who kept talking and being loud in the corridors at night. The room was smelly and not clean when we checked in and the bathroom never cleaned thoroughly. They left a dirty facecloth laying on the bathroom floor for TWO days!!!!

I stayed during Memorial Day Weekend and got a room which had a door to the next room...so I can tell you, I never stayed at a place more noisy! Drunk young people screeming around like mad in the middle of the night, hip-hop music as loud as if the hotel was their private party-place! And more familiar noises I wouldn't like to explain further...I know this wasn't a regular weekend, but the staff could care a bit more keeping noise on an acceptable level. Otherwise I like this place, just in the very heart of South Beach. Wlan is sometimes a problem though (last year the same).

This hotel was great for what we wanted. We didn't have high expectations, all we wanted was a nice clean spacious room. The staff were very friendly, excellent location, car parks nearby. We met people who did say this hotel was very basic but I personally thought it was nice. Best part about it was the location!!

Welcome,- what welcome. Not once did we ever get a good morning or hello. Noise noise noise. Paper thin walls. Oh, did l mention the noise, as did my other friends from three other rooms. You need to pay to use Internet at the front lobby, and the printer does not work. Two side- table lamps had no light-bulb fitting so had to use main room light which was way too bright. Water pressure in shower is non existent. Hotel is not a happy place for the workers it seems, as workers always appears grumpy and sad. Numerous other places one can stay and will definitely not be back at the Kent.

A really good location for a very good price!

Nel complesso hotel buono, ci abbiamo trascorso 10 giorni, l'unica pecca, che penso sia comune a South Beach, l'assenza del balcone. Hotel consigliato per posizione e prezzo.

Perfect location just a block away from beach, Ocean Dr., restaurants, and shopping. Plus, the friendliest staff ever, great restaurant recomendations, and helpful for any needs. Great place to stay in the middle of South Beach.

The location is good and the room was ok too. Unfortunately, the walls and ceilings are very thin and you can hear anything from the other rooms. On our second night we couldn't sleep at all because of the noise from the upper room. A dreadful experience and the staff didn't help at all.

La chambre côté rue est calme. Ambiance feutrée de l'hotel est très agréable. Il présente l'un des meilleurs rapports qualité/prix dans ce coin de south beach. Il est très bien situé. Bon séjour

For work go often, in Miami, is the first time that we accomodate to kent, is disappointed, were forced to change room, because you dirty. Broken lift. service zero.

This wasnt a good experience. Surly and hostile check in staff, temperamental elevator so be prepared to carry luggage up stairs. Corridors forbidding, everything seemed to be painted deep purple. Rooms were reasonably clean but poorly equiped with broken furniture and tiny bathroome. Do yourself a favour, pay a bit more and stay somewhere nicer.

Some works just next to our room during the stay but otherwise hotel is perfectly located and the employees are great and flexible. Nice hotel to recommand.

We had a great stay, but DO NOT get a room across the back of the hotel overlooking the alley, i don't know how many kinds of trash they have in miami beach, but you will be woken up at 8am every day to a trash truck emptying the dumpsters if you stay back there. to add insult to injury, when we checked out, aside from finding out that they had my name wrong in the computer, the clerk told us we were actually supposed to be in a different room. aside from the inattentiveness on the room assignment and alley facing room, we had a great stay and while slightly rough around the edges, the room and ammenities within were entirely satisfactory.

CROOKED STAFF:WE HAD TO GO TO THE POLICE TO GET A ROOM ALREADY PAID FOR 2 BEDS.READ MY COMMENT BELOW.I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THE HOTEL TO PEOPLE WHO COULDN ' T SPEAK AMERICAN.GOOD RESTAURANTS NEARBY WITH FRIENDLY STAFF!

Hotel very noisy, don't forget your earplugs.. We also have found a dead fly in the sheets. Otherwise, the staff is good ans the hotel is original. Je ne recommande pas cet hotel, donnant sur une petite rue extrêmement bruyante où défilent -entre autres- les camions poubelles tres tot le matin. Si ça ne vous dérange pas, le reste est ok (même si nous avons trouvé une mouche morte dans les draps..)

Clean hotel and room in a great area at a great price. Nice flat screen tv and DVD player in room along with a radio, bar area, refrigerator, free wi-fi- pretty much everything you would need! For the money, not sure you could do much better- only a block from Ocean drive and the beach and a 10 minute walk or so to the Lincoln Road mall area. Would definitely stay again if traveling again to Miami Beach.

Nice hotel in the middle of the art deco area of south beach
