There was a lot of construction behind the building causing early morning awaking by the noise of jack hammering. In addition, the walls were thin and we could hear partying from other rooms throughout the night. Maid service was very poor. Throughout the 10 day stay, we had to chase down staff to get replacement towels as the maid removed the rooms towels daily and did not always replace them. After the 3rd day of the stay, the maid just gave up making the bed.Even after a week, the sheets were never changed. After 8 days, I asked to borrow the broom to clean the floor. The hotel lobby was often filled with some "creepy" appearing staff that were always trying to solicit passerby to sit through a time share presentation. On the positive side, the front desk staff were friendly and responsive to questions or requests. The room was okay and at the level I thought it would be for a old refurbished hotel.

We were going to be arriving a day early and had problems getting through to the on line reservations people...gave up as we were in central america and we held for a very long time. That said, when we arrived the front desk person (I believe the front desk manager) did his best to accommodate us early and we were thrilled with the room. Our stay in Miami was due to a lay over but we decided we will venture back just to stay at Crescent Beach Resort again.

From Miami International Airport:
Take NW 21st St and merge on to SR-953 (N Le Jeune Rd) heading south. Bear right onto SR-836 East and continue on I-395 East (I-395 becomes the MacArthur Cswy). Continue east on Fifth St and go left onto Collins Ave. Turn right onto 15th Street, and right again onto Ocean Drive. Crescent Resort on South Beach is located on the right.
