The hotel is perfectly located - ideal when coming from the airport with the Airport Flyer 150 bus it's around the corner - also ideal for visiting Lincoln Road with all its shops, resto and bar. Nearby but you are not bothered by the noice or traffic of this busy area. However the only minuspoint is the room 101 they gave us; it's a humid room all towels and sheets are humid. You can't even open the window to get some fresh air so that was really a pity

The hotel is centrally located (if you ask me, in the "good end" of Ocean Drive which I otherwise tend to find a bit tacky). The room we had was very small - we were offered to move to another room after 1 might, however the other room was only marginally larger. Super friendly staff - they leave small notes in the room and fill up your icebucket when you return home after a long day. The room has a small fridge which is NOT stuffed with overprized minibar items but entirely at your disposal. The OLA restaurant just next door is WONDERFUL It is pricey but specializes in different types of ceviche (marinated raw fish). The Meat Market (recommended by the hotel) up on Lincoln Rd has GREAT steaks and the works.

Hotel was quaint and cute, but I found the staff to be somewhat unfriendly. On my last day, when I thought my shuttle had missed me, the receptionist saw me struggling with my luggage and I told her my problem, and she didn't offer any sort of help, just carried on what she was doing. My request for 1/2 an hour late checkout was also flatly denied.

We had a very pleasant stay. The hotel was completely according to our taste (small and charming). The staff was friendly and accommodating. We ate delicious gourmet dinner at the newly opened restaurant. This location was satisfactorily. However the road work outside in a shorter period of time was a bit noisy, but it cannot be charged to the hotel. We have stayed twice at the hotel and the next trip to Miami Beach, we still live there, and in other words, the recommendation is easy!

My wife and I spent a fine weekend at the Cadet. As the end of our vacation, we met this pretty nice little hotel located in a central but still quiet corner of South Beach. If something is to be said about the Cadet is the consideration the owners have taken on any detail, from service to decoration. People at the front desk is so kind and gentle that make you feel great from the very moment you enter up to the time you leave the hotel. Rooms are comfortable, fully equipped and beautifully arranged. They don't include breakfast nor parking, but that is clear from the moment you make your reservation and not a major problem. There is not elevator and that may be a little uncomfortable, but staff is always ready to help. In few words, I recommend this place and would return anytime I were to South Beach.

The problem is that the hotel is in the refurbusing process. As well as the nearby roads. Reception personnel wears earplugs!!!! No one lets you know about these sad facts. But in general by design (NOISE APART!!!) the hotel is stylish and comfortable. Breakfast is well worth USD15!

This little hotel is a gem. The only difficulties we experienced were due to our reservation. It is a boutique hotel, so the rooms are not standard. I reserved a standard room with you for $165.00. My sister, calling the hotel independently paid the same amount for a superior room. The Cadet was gracious enough to match that-they didn't have to. And a standard room was not big enough for a couple - you need to state that. Thanks to the great staff for putting up with us and turning our stay into a great vacation.

The Hotel Staff was efficient and very friendly. The Hotel was well kept and unrelated to the control of the Hotel Mgmt, the noise factor was due to ongoing street construction.

The Cadet is a good, well furnished hotel and a good place to stay near South Beach. You could get nearer to Ocean Drive so don't over-pay but if you get a good rate it is certainly a good option. Most staff were vey helpful.

I went to Miami Beach with couple of friends. Cadet Hotel was wonderful, very clean, outstanding location, minutes from all entertainment and the beach, and extremely helpful and polite staff. This is a beautiful little gem and an excellent value hotel.

Welcoming, charming, immaculate, with a sweet attention to detail. It's the little things, like the dish of berries in the room when I checked in, or the little box of chocolates every evening, that make this place memorable. It was also great to have free wi-fi. The staff were attentive and helpful. The location was great, too -- just a block away from the beach and a block from Lincoln Road.
