Hotel Fontan Reforma Mexico - Mexico City

For the price, Hotel Fontan is a great find. The location served me perfectly for my trip to the city. I know some rooms could be noisy so I requested for a quiet room and I was provided. The room, the breakfast, the service were more than adequate. The staff were most helpful and pleasant … aunque los que no hablan inglés. Estoy muy contento. Voy a volver.

Excellent service, nice rooms, near to Historical Zone and near to cheaper "mercados". Relation Price and Service is excellent. Personal and staff are polite and they gives us addecuatelly instructions to move into the city.

Excelent hotel for the price. If you want silences, ask for rooms not facing Reforma Avenue. If I go to Mexico one more time I would go to Fontan again.

We have been forced to pay for breakfast although this service was included and already paid via our venere.com-reservation...

Location is great for walking or getting to one of the major metro stations. There was little or no heat in the room, and no hot water at night.

While this is not a cheap hotel, it is safe central (hence the noise), clean, and friendly (if somewhat tardy service at the desk). Unfortunately, I seemed to be in one of the coldest, loudest rooms in the hotel. In truth, I think that you can do a bit better for your money.

I cannot understand how you can evaluate it 4 stars.. Hotel war sehr gut und wir waren sehr zufrieden mit Preis-Leistung - Frühstück war als American Breakfast inklusive und war immer gut. Von der Dachterrasse hat man super Blick über Mexico D.F., leider schliesst sie schon um 20Uhr. Einziger Nachteil: Recht laut, da direkt an der Reforma gelegen (6 spurige Strasse)

Staff is friendly and helpful, but don't expect everyone speaking English. Rooms are a little bit noisy: the hotel located on very busy intersection.

Theenitial welcome wasn't so good, Idon't think theyliked I only booked for 2 nights. At first the lock didn't work on the room they had given me. At fisrt Iwas told I would be given a new room, after an hour of waiting they then told me I was going to get the lock fixed and had to wait over an hour for the lock to be fixed and eventually be able to leave the hotel. I wasn't very happy with the breakfast the only thing I thought worth eating was the fruit.

The hotel room was full of noises from the avenue outside, and had a bad smell from the drain of the bathroom.

Excelent hotel for the price. Just ask for rooms not facing Reforma Avenue cause they are extremely noisy. If I go to Mexico one more time I would go to Fontan again.
