Location is great for walking or getting to one of the major metro stations. There was little or no heat in the room, and no hot water at night.

While this is not a cheap hotel, it is safe central (hence the noise), clean, and friendly (if somewhat tardy service at the desk). Unfortunately, I seemed to be in one of the coldest, loudest rooms in the hotel. In truth, I think that you can do a bit better for your money.

I cannot understand how you can evaluate it 4 stars.. Must be clear that this fact affect mainly your image of travel agency then you have to complain strongly with the direction of the Fontan mexico hotel. Regards Giorgio Virgili

Hotel war sehr gut und wir waren sehr zufrieden mit Preis-Leistung - Frühstück war als American Breakfast inklusive und war immer gut. Von der Dachterrasse hat man super Blick über Mexico D.F., leider schliesst sie schon um 20Uhr. Einziger Nachteil: Recht laut, da direkt an der Reforma gelegen (6 spurige Strasse)

Staff is friendly and helpful, but don't expect everyone speaking English. Rooms are a little bit noisy: the hotel located on very busy intersection.

theenitial welcome wasn't so good, Idon't think theyliked I only booked for 2 nights. At first the lock didn't work on the room they had given me. At fisrt Iwas told I would be given a new room, after an hour of waiting they then told me I was going to get the lock fixed and had to wait over an hour for the lock to be fixed and eventually be able to leave the hotel. I wasn't very happy with the breakfast the only thing I thought worth eating was the fruit.

Excelent hotel for the price. Just ask for rooms not facing Reforma Avenue cause they are extremely noisy. If I go to Mexico one more time I would go to Fontan again.
