There is a free shuttle bus from the airport, but you will need to call to let them know you have arrived. The people at the front desk were very nice, friendly and helpful. At check-in we were told that we had been given an upgrade. How nice! We went to our room and we had a problem opening the door with a big skeleton key that wouldn't catch the tumblers. Once inside we were surprised and started laughing. Our upgrade looked exactly like a dormitory! There were tile floors in the two rooms. The front room had two twin beds and a table and wall with cabinets. In the second room there were 3 single beds side by side. There were only two of us, so we had our choice of 5 beds! We only stayed one night before leaving from the airport, and we had already spent 3 nights in Venice, so we had dinner at the pizza place down the street. Convenient & reasonably priced. I had to plug my phone into the bath outlet. I couldn't find any others in the two rooms. Free wifi, but pretty slow. This is a good place to stay for one night if you have an early flight, but it is not a good place to stay if you are spending any time in Venice.

First time in Venice and at this hotel. Excellent experience. Stayed 2 days before a cruise and 1 after. Staff here was fantastic, very accomodating, and helpful in every way. Continental breakfast included with room was equally as excellent. Ate at a nice little pizzeria down the street a short distance 3 times - close by and good food. Small friendly grocery store just a short distance away as well. Would definitely stay at the Hotel Titian Inn and Residence again. Can't praise the staff there enough. They made this trip to Italy a pleasure. Thank you.

This was a great spot to end our holiday to Venice. The staff was helpful and quickly responded to my e-mail request for bus stop info / clarification. Breakfast started at 0430 and the hotel van took us to the Venice airport in 5 min for an early flight. Finally, the hotel is very near the Tessera bus stop (the #5 airport bus stops there), so was easy to find.

Very nicely surprised with the attractiveness, quietness and overall suitability of this Airport hotel - a nice alternative to the nearby Mariott. Staying only one night in advance of an early morning flight, we found the rooms large, well designed and clean and the hotel staff and shuttle service timely and professional. Bonus: The restaurant recommended by the hotel (the Pizzeria/Ristorante, Al Quadrante)was within a few steps, included a 10% discount card, and served one of the best meals we had during well our three week stay in Italy/Sicily. Mille grazie to team Hotel Titian and team Al Quadrante.

I was there on a Sunday and not much around hotel was open. Very good recommendation for dinner by the staff. Also staff was helpful with letting me check in early and giving directions on how to get into Venice Hotel was a little expensive for where it was but I guess you are paying for the airport closeness and not Venice.

Perfect if you want to visit Venice but stay near the airport. It's one stop away from VCE so you don't actually need to take the $5 shuttle that the hotel provides as there's a bus stop very close. Takes about 45 minutes to get to downtown Venice. Great rooms, very clean and spacious.

Everything was fine with the hotel, however we do not feel the same for the local pizza restaurant. We needed an early breakfast and shuttle to the Marco Polo airport for a very early flight - that was our purpose in leaving our hotel in Venice. If I did it all again we would have been far better off to have enjoyed a good dinner in Venice, Prior to checking in at the Titan.

We were satisfied with everything but the location of our room which was beside the emergency exit (someone kept running outthere on the metal ramp which sounded like someone throwing garbage cans down an alley) and also conversation noise came directly up the stairs from the lobby below to our room. We had to be up at 415 AM and were trying to get some sleep early. A different room location would have made for a pefect stay. We enjoyed the breakfast.

The #5 bus [one half block away] took us to the train station and vapoetto taxis for our day trips-Venice,Verona and Padua. The staff was helpful, very professional and provided all necessary information. Problem was taxi from the airport (about 1 minute drive for 15 euros :() ... because after 12 the hotel does not provided shuttle. Travelling to Venice acceptable (20 minutes by bus), we stayed in this hotel because our return flight was early in the morning. When we saw the hotels in the center comparing with their price (quite old), we would definitely stay in this hotel again (or maybe at some hotel in Lido or some other island, the ship transport services are very good).

The hotel was perfect with an extremely competent and helpful multi-lingual staff. Internet service was fast and inexpensive (5 hours for 10 euros), the breakfast began at 4:30am and enabled us to eat and then make our early flight. The hotel airport shuttle begins at 4:45am and cost 5 euros per couple. The hotel location was .4 miles from Marco Polo airport. The bus stop was across the street from the hotel entrance and this took you to the airport or into Venice. The same pass allowed you to ride the bus and the water buses. It was very easy to get to/from the hotel and all around Venice, Burano and Murano.

Stayed at the Titian 2 times on our vacation, both for purpose of being close to the airport. "900 meters from airport" makes it sound like you can walk there, but that's just to the edge of the airport - it would be a long walk. They offer a shuttle at reasonable cost to the airport which worked well as long as you were in their operating times. Wireless internet was not free, but was reasonably priced. Tile floors throughout; no carpet. TV by american standard poor, but good by european standards. The breakfast buffet was a delight with large selection and spacious dining area - 2 thumbs up for that. The hotel fronts a busy street, but the rooms are in back, so is reasonably quiet. Beds were typical hotel style - fairly hard, but still comfortable. No bed bugs! Staff were very helpful. Would stay here again without hesitation.

This is an excellent hotel for a stay in Venice. You are close to the airport for quick exit, but also very close to Venice and the value and accommodations are great. We arrived late afternoon and had no trouble hopping a bus into Venice for dinner that evening. The evening before we left we ate at the local restaurant recommended by the hotel and it was very good. The shuttle service to the airport can't be beat.

We stayed at the Titian after arriving late at night at Marco Polo airport. We took a no.5 bus at the airport and the first stop was 5 mins walk from the hotel (fare 10 EUR). We had a room for 4 which was actually 2 adjoining rooms and bathroom and was spotlessly clean. The bedroom slept 3 and there were 2 sofabeds in living area. The staff were helpful and the buffet breakfast was especially good. In the morning the hotel bus took us back to airport when we were ready to leave (10 EUR for all of us) so we could take the water bus to Venice.

30 minutes from Hotel to Plaza Roma on bus 5. Then Vaporetto into Venice. Return bus 5 from Plaza Roma 1A stop and get off in Tessere - push bus exit button after seeing hotel on the right. Ticket in Plaza Roma gives unlimited vaporetto and bus travel for 12 hours - must swipe on yellow validator outside vaporetto or on bus. Airport shuttle in 10 minutes (every half hour from 5 AM). Great restaurant Ai-Do Fogheri 5 minute walk from hotel. Best bag check is in Plaza Roma in car park building across from buses.

Since most of the flights out of Venice are in the early morning, I decided that it would be worthwhile to stay in a local airport hotel rather than trying to take a water taxi in the morning of my flight, and I am very glad I did this. The hotel and staff are wonderful in all regards, and I was able to see a more normal, less touristy part of Venice. There are plenty of bars and eating establishments in the area, and the hotel even has a small vending area where you can get ice (a rarity in Europe!) or a sandwich and mineral water for 2.50 Euros. The 5 Euro shuttle to the airport is great. All in all, a fantastic way to wind down from a trip to Venice proper. My only advisory would be that the taxi from the airport to the hotel is over 15 Euros for a three minute ride, yet it is a bit too far to walk, at least in the middle of winter with luggage.

Our flight left Marco Polo Airport very early in the morning and it was impossible to stay on the island in Venice. After spending two nights on the island, we were delighted with the room at Titian Inn Hotel. We had spent most to the day on waterboats and buses touring Murano, Burano and Venice and our reception at TIH was warm, efficient and friendly. The room was clean and comfortable. We were directed to a nearby restaurant (the only one open in the area) and enjoyed a light meal. (The menu offered pizza, restaurant fare and fresh fish along with Italian karaoke). Our wake up call in the morning allowed us time to have a delicious breakfast with a large selection from which to choose. The shuttle took us directly to Marco Polo airport with plenty of time to check in. All in all the Titian Inn Hotel staff and accommodations made our return home problem free and almost effortless. I would highly recommend this hotel.

The property was close to the airport thus the reason for selecting this hotel. Good access by the city bus. The living room area was very dark. Very low wattage in the ceiling light fixture. Since the room didn't have a window - door where a window might have been opened up to the stair case and people could look inside thus didn't open it up.

By Venice standards, this was very economical. By European standards this was spacious. We had 5 pieces of luggage in the room and had no problem walking around. We reserved it only because it was convenient to the airport for an early morning flight. When we return to visit Venice we will stay here because of the value. It is only a 30 minute bus ride into the city and your bus pass is good on the vaporetto. The facility is actually much nicer than the photos suggest.

Everything about the hotel was more than we required for our last night in the area. The only downside for us was the walk from the bus stop pulling our bags over the brick sidewalks. We agreed that the money saved over staying at the Marriot in front of the bus stop was well worth the walk. Beware the quick stops made by the ACTV bus driver. We could not get our bags out the door before he took off. We got off after he stopped at the airport and was going back to town. Clean, quiet room. We appreciated the small elevator to the 2nd floor for hauling our large bags to the room. Crazy Pizza was closed and the other pizzeria they told us about was further away so we just got some snacks from the lobby vending machine for our evening meal. The breakfast provided at 4:30 had good variety but was not an American "cowboy" breakfast. Too early for that anyway.

We had to book this hotel for one night because there is only one very earl flight from Venice to the US through Frankfurt. Therefore, last day we had to check out from our hotel on the Island of Venice, and took a bus to this hotel. Simple, new hotel with nice lobby, very-very friendly staff (comparing with the staff in out Venetian Hotel..), tons of help regarding dinner places around, snacks, grocery stores, etc. They provide excellent hot breakfast at 4:45 am !!!!, while their special shuttle waits for you with your bags already loaded in. 5 min by shuttle to the airport was very convenient service!!! (Remember--you cannot reach the Marco POlo Airport from Venice Island before 9 am anda fter 7 pm!!!) Our room has a tiny balcony with a view on the main road, it had excellent bed with beautiful sheets, big nice bathroom with plenty of towels. Everything was great. No complains at all, except that such hotel must be on Venetian island that we could enjoy not just Venice but our mornings and nights in a hotel. Highly recommend this hotel.

The Hotel Titian Inn Hotel and Residence was exactly what I wanted - a reasonable, clean, comfortable overnight stay for easy access to the airport. For 5 euros a shuttle will take you to the airport. It leaves early in the morning. There is nothing to do or see in the surrounding area, but that was not why I was there. The hotel is easily reached by taking the Airport ACTV bus from Piazzlle Roma. There is a small grocery store very close to the hotel that closes at 1930. The airport noise was louder than expected. The staff were friendly and welcoming. Breakfast at 0430 was wonderful and the shuttle to the airport was on time at 0445.

Convenient to Marco Polo Airport. Shuttle service took only minutes at a nominal cost. Also convenient to #5 bus which runs between the airport and Piazzella Roma. Staff was very accomodating.

We had breakfast at 4:30 a.m. The room was very nicely set up, and the meal was excellent, with many choices. Our airport shuttle was reasonably priced, and was on time. We only found two nearby restaurants for dinner, and the food at the one we chose, was average. We were only in Tessera overnight in order to catch our flight back to the US following a cruise that ended in Venice. The taxi driver from the port to the hotel refused to put his meter on, but his charge of 50 Euros for 5 passengers with luggage, was much better than the cruise line offer of 33 euros per person.

OK- Reasonable for price. Close to the airport - just a little too far to walk on a hot day!. Don't go to the nearby 'Crazy Pizzeria' - its awful.

The Titian proved adequate for our needs as our main requirements were only to have reasonable accomodation close to airport for early morning flight. The inexpensive shuttle bus was very convenient. The breakfast, although quite good, only began 15 minutes before first shuttle departure. A half hour would have been appreciated. The facilities were clean and staff helpful but the room perhaps a little over-priced considering the rather plain accomodation.

We were very pleased to be so close to the airport, since we had a very early flight the next morning. The shuttle was ready when we needed it, and even though we left early, we still had a nice light breakfast first.

We arrived very late at night and wanted a room close to the airport. Our room, although small by North American standards, was clean, comfortable and quiet. The front desk people were helpful and friendly.A great hotel for anyone needing easy access to the airport.

Shuttle bus to the airport (2 minutes ride) runs from 4AM. Very handy for early flights. There is nothing to see in the vicinity of the hotel so check in only if you're really ready to head for bed. No dinner available but a nearby small and nice supermarket ("PAN") can be an option. Otherwise a shuttle bus service to a couple of pizzerias is offerred to the hotel guests. New and clean but painfully generic.

Located within 5 minutes of airport. Offer convenient/cheap shuttle to/from airport that starts at 0445. Breakfast buffet available beginning at 0430. Staff friendly and helpful. No restaurant/bar, but 2 local restaurants within 5 minute walk. Stay here if have a flight that arrives late or leaves early, its ideal for that; otherwise hotel is isolated and not near anything.

Welcome excellent.Very convenient for airport-2/3 mins in minibus provided by hotel.Restaurants nearby incl.lively and good standard pizzeria.Rooms quite large. Only negative was a/c turned off for the winter (although c25 degrees during the day)-meant we had to leave window open on main road all night- considerable traffic noise. Breakfast had excellent choice of food in pleasant dinig room.

The Titian Inn was fantastic. I chose the hotel because of its close location to the airport (we had a very early flight out of Venice) and was very happily surprised to find that it would have been a great hotel in any location. The front desk staff was fantastic and very helpful. The internet connection was quick, the common rooms comfortable and clean, the hotel rooms very spacious (with good air conditioning and private bathrooms), and the breakfast very nice. The shuttle to the airport was extremely easy and quick. I would definitely stay there again!

The continental breakfast was vastly superior to the breakfast at the Monaco Grand in Venice. If you have seen Venice before and are returning for a visit I would recommend staying here and taking the bus not the watershuttle. The airport shuttle is available every 15 minutes. This made for a good last or first night before leaving Venice.

The Hotel Titian was very convenient and the staff extremely friendly. I did discover the shuttle from the airport is limited and I had to telephone to get them to come pick me up. I took a bus back to the airport because the shuttle does not run after 9:30 AM daily. Also, the restaurant only serves breakfast, but there is a very nice restaurant very easy walking distance--maybe 15 meters away.

This hotel was ok for a night as it was convenient to the airport. It was so close to the airport that the cab ride cost us a minimal fee that was in excess of what the actual cost should have been. The hotel should really provide more shuttle service to/from the airport. The room was spacious, but I could hear the person in the adjoining room snoring during the night. The staff was competent and helpful. The hotel does not have a restaurant, but the staff directed us to one in another hotel only a short walk away. The property is on a very busy road to/from the airport, but the staff gave us a room facing away from the road. Breakfast was adequate but simple with several choices of cereal, bread, cheese, eggs, pasteries, yogurt, and some meat.

We stayed at the Titian on our last night after having been in Venice, as we had an early flight to catch. The only problem was getting there. We took the vaporetto to Piazzale Roma (which was fine). We then (after a fairly long wait) took the #5 bus which goes to the airport. We had understood that the bus would stop at the hotel, and I asked the driver to do so. There was a bus-stop in Tessera,(which turned out to be not too far from the hotel) but not at the hotel (which of course we had never seen before). So we ended up getting off of the bus at the airport and boarded the return #5 bus. The stop in Tessara on the return route was not even close to the hotel, which made for a difficult walk, pulling luggage! If we were to do it again, we would take a taxi to the hotel from Piazzale Roma - no matter what the cost! The hotel and staff, and the shuttle to the airport (5 euro charge) was perfectly fine and we would be happy to stay there again - provided we could get there conveniently. Breakfast in the AM was also fine - especially the coffee.

If you take the bus from the airport towards Roma Plaza, you'll pass the hotel on your left. Get off at the next stop and you're only about 100 meters away! Great location for first night or last night in Venice OR if you don't mind just a bus ride into Venice. It's only 1 Euro from the hotel (tickets can be bought at the front desk and validated on the bus) to Roma Plaza.

We enjoyed our short stay at the Titian Inn Hotel. The room was immaculate and the staff was very helpful. Although I can't remember the name, if you are looking for a fast, good and reasonable costing dinner ask at the front desk about the pizza place just down the street. Up in the top 5 of our favorite restaurants for Italy. The only thing I would change would be the directions we had to get to the hotel via the bus from the Mestre train station. Our directions said to get off at the Teserra stop at the small square with the church. First, you aren't absolutely sure that the bus stops in Teserra, fortunately a kind lady on the bus told us that it did and then by the time that you recognize that you are at the stop, it is too late to push the stop button and we couldn't get off the bus. No worries, the walk back from the airport was not a long one. All and all a great find!

I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to Venice. We only stayed 1 night, since we were returning from a cruise. This hotel was much nicer than I had expected. It was close to the airport, but once we closed the windows we didn't hear any outside noise. There was a restaurant within easy walking distance. It was much easier dealing with luggage than getting a place in Venice. The buses were inexpensive and ran often to and from Venice. When I return I would stay here rather than on Venice. The only negative I have is I wish they would have the shuttle run about 30 min. earlier. We had an early flight and when we got to the airport the line was extreamly long and we were nervous about getting checked in. The good thing was the airport is not too busy, so they just held the flight until everyone was checked in. The hotel was very clean, the employees were very helpful and friendly. Great experince.
